Sketching in the Park
Alice has embarked on a journey to find Alicia Marcus, uses a new identity known to the public as Janus Thaddeus Ross, a name given to her by Henry.
This name was actually the real name of the female protagonist in the first movie, chosen by the director and screenwriter. However, it was never used in the movie.
In this world, Alice doesn't remember ever having such a name. Henry uses it here out of some morbid fascination.
Alice is also a trump card against Umbrella Corporation, which is why Henry spares no effort in arming her. Although Umbrella Corporation has recently been teetering on the brink of collapse due to attacks from other capital, it has not yet fallen.
By releasing this venomous snake, destined to be Umbrella's Umbrella, Henry has little left to do against Umbrella. In the realm of capital clashes, the Kryptonian can offer little of real help.
With his wealth, he wouldn't even make a ripple. Only someone of Tony Stark's caliber could possibly utterly crush Umbrella.
However Stark Industries, which obtained all the data on the Red Queen server using JARVIS and two other Artificial Intelligence, has been keeping a low profile lately. It's unclear whether they intend to abandon their Umbrella or are brewing something big.
Henry, who knew Tony Stark's character well, knew that he couldn't rush the young master at this moment. Otherwise, if the young master, who was always ready to go against the grain, were to suddenly abandon his Umbrella, he might just let him go.
However, Tony Stark is not one to ignore what is happening; he will certainly take action against Umbrella. It's just that Henry cannot predict what he will do.
This young master, who hasn't become Iron Man yet, may seem like a playboy on the surface, but he's actually quite cunning. If he really sets his sights on you, it's hard to tell whether it's a good thing or a bad thing.
In short, having finally put aside a worry, the Kryptonian returned to his normal, carefree life. Walking along the tree-lined paths of Central Park in New York, Catherine Hepburn, leaning on her cane and wearing a large sun hat, enjoyed the tranquil afternoon.
Kitty, the Tabby Cat, was taken away by Skye. The old lady had to admit that if the chubby cat followed her, she might not get enough exercise. So it was better to let the younger one run around.
Henry, carrying his easel and painting case, followed behind Catherine Hepburn. "Hey, Kate, look over there. The weather's so nice today, how about we try painting the pond?"
"A pond? You mean that scene where it sparkles in the Sun Pharma? Aren't you putting my drawing skills to the test?"
"No matter how realistic a painting is, it won't look like a photograph. Painting is about capturing the feeling, not about whether it's lifelike or not. That's what you told me."
"Don't you dare use my words to lecture me!" Catherine Hepburn brandished her cane, looking like she wanted to whack Henry on the head. But even though the body wouldn't be injured, the old woman ultimately didn't actually do it.
Setting down her cane and standing still, Catherine Hepburn took a few breaths. "But painting a pond is fine too; it reminds me of the canals of Venice. Where do you think would be a good location for the shot?"
Henry looked around, pointed to a spot, and gestured in another direction. "What do you think of the view from that side? The pond and the land are divided in half, there are trees on the land, and tall buildings in the sky behind the trees."
"The shimmering pond reflects this scene, making the whole world seem like an upside-down world. Don't you find this image interesting?"
Catherine Hepburn took a few more steps, imagining the scene Henry had described. "Hmm, not bad at all. And although the reflections in the pond are blurred by the ripples, they're quite dazzling in the Sun Pharma. It has a rather fairytale-like atmosphere."
"Right?" Henry said with a smug look on his face.
"Here it is," Catherine Hepburn suggested a spot. Henry naturally stepped forward and set up the easel, paper, watercolors, and brushes. The easel even doubled as a chair. Just as Henry was getting ready, Catherine Hepburn peeked around. "Hey, where are Skye and the others? Where did they go?"
"Let's just play around nearby. With Skye around, we don't need to worry about Kitty doing anything." Of course, the Kryptonian could track the two little girls and the big Tiger; they were just looking for a place to practice their abilities.
Lorna Dane, the Polaris, has a magnetic field bracelet made by Henry, so she doesn't need a specific location or to deliberately remove her ability limiter to practice her mutant abilities; she can practice anytime, anywhere.
However, Skye's situation is not so convenient. Unlike Lorna's magnetic field ability, her vibration ability is not very useful due to its variability. She seems to need to use her vibration ability to temper herself, allowing her body to adapt to and withstand the reaction force of the vibration.
To achieve this goal without causing any damage, the only option is to use the ability in an open space, rather than practicing secretly at home.
At least one bed has already been replaced, and the little girl with the wardrobe has been warned. If anything gets broken again, she'll have to pay for replacements or repairs herself.
Using this phrase to deal with a stingy little girl is more effective than saying you're going to beat her up badly. At least Skye stopped wreaking havoc on the house.
Kitty, on the other hand, found a shady spot and lay down, sticking her tongue out as if trying to release all the heat from her body.
When Catherine Hepburn started drawing, that was Henry's time to zone out. Most of the time, his Super Brain would be working at high speed, conducting some mental simulation experiments, and making progress on some technological advancements. But there were also times when he would completely zone out.
However, she didn't get much of a break today, as an acquaintance was approaching. She found Skye and her brother first, and then came over.
"Ms. Hepburn, we've finally found you."
"Who are you...?" "Virginia Potts, Mr. Tony Stark's personal assistant."
"Ah, Pepper Potts, I remember now. How Pepper you find me?"
"Since there was no one on East 49th Street, I guessed you guys came to Central Park. And finding you in Central Park is actually easier than I thought. Just go around asking people which way the group with the Tiger went."
Henry chuckled beside him; it seemed Kitty's whereabouts had been exposed.
"Is there something you need?" Catherine Hepburn put down her paintbrush and looked at the woman who had stayed by Tony Stark's side the longest.
Henry couldn't resist adding insult to injury. "Yeah, Tony actually dared to send you out as his assistant. You're not going to have to rush back and manage that young master's life, which's become a mess without you, are you?"
Perhaps because Tony wasn't around, Virginia Potts actually showed considerable respect for her boss. "Mr. Stark isn't as bad as outsiders think. He's just..."
The elite assistant, who wanted to defend her boss, suddenly found herself speechless. To outsiders, this kind of boss probably seemed even worse.
