The Exiled Flawed One
Nick Fury, that seasoned guy, knew how to control the pace of things. Even if he was very interested in what the Skrulls were saying, he wouldn't let them take the lead.
He tried to smooth things over for Henry, saying, "Henry is a very good doctor. What If...? you don't believe him, at least tell Bobbie where you keep your first-aid kit. The girl's injuries definitely need to be treated."
It's like that old psychological trick: when people strongly dislike the first option, they are more likely to accept the second option.
Henry, being on guard, certainly didn't presume to step forward and demonstrate his superior medical skills. Maria Rambo didn't strongly object to Barbara's offer of help; her daughter genuinely needed treatment.
Fortunately, the injury on Monica Rambeau's arm wasn't caused by the Tiger's four longest teeth; it was just teeth marks left by the back fangs.
Although there was bleeding and the injury looked quite frightening, it was fortunate that the arm bone wasn't broken or there were no lacerations.
Perhaps the Skrulls had anticipated being exposed when they framed him, which is why they didn't bite hard but held back.
While Vers was also concerned about the girl's bite wounds, her attention was primarily focused on the Skrulls. It seemed a disagreement was imminent.
It looked like they were about to start a war right there.
The reason she refrained from taking action was that more Skrulls entered the house, crowding around the front and back doors and blocking everyone's escape route.
Although the opposing side outnumbered them, they were unarmed. Everyone reverted to their original appearance, resembling green-skinned, bald-headed individuals with pointed ears.
Even the Skrulls had initially disguised themselves as Henry and Kitty reverted to their original forms and retreated behind General Ross. The one who had been shot was receiving treatment from his comrades.
It's hard to determine whether this gesture is a sign of goodwill, but at least it means the other side doesn't intend to start a war immediately.
Nick Fury ignored the Skrulls ' actions. He simply looked at Henry, who also seemed confused, and asked, "What that guy was talking about, about Krypton, do you know anything about it?"
"To be honest, this is the first time I've heard of this."
But you didn't seem very shocked.
Henry said nonchalantly, "What If...? shock could change the facts, perhaps I should be shocked. But as someone who has never met my parents since childhood, should I be surprised by my origins?"
"If the timing hadn't been off, and someone had told me today that I'm Kennedy and Marilyn Monroe's son, I might have believed it too. Saying I'm an alien doesn't seem so surprising."
Marilyn Monroe died in 1962, John F. Kennedy was assassinated in 1963. Henry arrived on Earth around 1970, so he wouldn't have been able to cause any trouble.
Henry's true feeling was probably one of relief, because he had finally confirmed his origins.
Although his performance suggests he is indeed Kryptonian, and his abilities match those of Superman, his strength remains uncertain.
But the question of whether Krypton exists in this universe has always troubled Henry.
Now, learning from the Skrulls "Krypton" does indeed exist in this universe, albeit with a different history, at least confirms that he wasn't a second or third transmigrator.
Now a new question arises: if Krypton is universally hated in the universe, why did it end up on Earth?
However, General Ross Krypton, naturally knew more about the answer to this question than Henry. As soon as he heard the Kryptonian's reply, he immediately understood what the unease he had been feeling all along was.
General Ross laughed heartily and said, "Ha, it seems you are Flawed Ones exile."
"Exiled Flawed Ones?" Henry couldn't possibly remain unmoved by such a term. He tilted his head, looking at the haughty Skrulls general.
General Ross, of course, couldn't hold back; he'd finally managed to show a little bit of superiority. "Do you know what the most disgusting thing about your Krypton civilization is?"
"That is, you, regardless of gender, do not conceive life like other living beings. The Hydrogen Planet relies on a system called the ' Codex ' to continue its lineage. Only two people need to provide their DNA to have a baby with no defects in the DNA."
"And this baby's future is already determined at birth. Will he be an engineer, a soldier, or an artist? Society as a whole is like a tightly sealed machine, devoid of any passion. Whatever kind of people are lacking, that's the kind of baby they produce."
"But even the most complete social structure is bound to have some unexpected events. Those babies born naturally out of a desire for pleasure, without being selected by the Codex, are called ' Flawed Ones ' by your civilization."
"The only fate for the Flawed Ones is exile. They are stuffed into a space capsule and launched randomly in one direction. The original intention was to send such infants into the Phantom Zone surrounding Krypton."
"But to be like you, not being captured by the Phantom Zone, and not even ending up on an uninhabitable planet or being swallowed by a star, but landing on a planet with life—such luck is unprecedented in nine thousand years. You should be proud."
Although he said he could be proud, the sarcasm in his tone was unmistakable.
Don't be fooled by the Skrulls' current state of being defeated by the Kree. According to official Marvel, the Kree were originally built on the Skrulls ' wool, and the Skrulls themselves once established an empire, ranking alongside the Kree and Shi'ar as one of the three great empires in the Milky Way Galaxy.
Henry, of course, wouldn't reveal the Skrulls ' background, because he shouldn't know that. He simply retorted to the Skrulls' actions towards him, saying:
"So, discrimination against Krypton is your excuse for framing me time and time again? Even dragging an innocent child into it!"
Henry cunningly dragged Monica Rambeau Rambo, the little black girl with an afro, into the picture, tying her to himself and standing on the Moral high ground to condemn the Skrulls.
Such actions, of course, further tarnished the Skrulls ' image in the eyes of others.
Nick Fury and the Vers already had a bad impression of the Skrulls, and now they were practically ready to wear their disapproval on their sleeves and say things like "I don't like you."
General Ross had not initially anticipated that the overall atmosphere would shift in a direction unfavorable to him.
He appeared in his original form, intending to win people over. However, after his subordinates reported back, his decision to agree to set a trap for the Kryptonian now seems to have backfired.
Now we can only try to salvage the situation, rather than letting it get worse.
