Landmines Possibly Hidden in the Universe
Another piece of evidence supporting Henry's idea is, of course, the movie * the Flash *. No matter how much the Flash, with both parents alive, travels back in time in Flashpoint, he can't save Kara El, the Supergirl killed by General Zod.
General Zod also obtained the Genesis Codex from Supergirl. He mentioned that he had captured Carl - El's escape pod in space. While killing the baby, he also confirmed that the baby did not possess the Codex, which is why he pursued him to Earth.
Some believe that Supergirl lost to General Zod in the Flashpoint universe created by the Flash because she was imprisoned by the Russia for too long and didn't have enough time to Sun Pharma.
However, General Zod, who is also Kryptonian, did not begin receiving the Yellow Sun's enhancements when he sent out a message to Earth to search for Kryptonian, according to the timeline of the movie "Superman of Steel Body".
It wasn't until he reached the surface and began the battle that he received the radiation enhancement from the Yellow Sun after Superman shattered his armor mask, and he quickly adapted.
In other words, General Zod's time under the baptism of the Yellow Sun wouldn't have been much longer than Supergirl's. What If...? the Codex within Kara Zo- El is so powerful, why couldn't it help Supergirl defeat General Zod?
A little-known fact about her backstory is that Kara Zor El was also a Krypton baby born under the control of the Codex. She belongs to the Engineer template, just like her parents and family.
Krypton's Codex reproductive system, besides guaranteeing DNA advantages, certainly wouldn't allow a military family to produce a musician or an administrator's family to produce a scientist.
There must be a certain continuity in the characteristics of the family, which can provide help in later education.
It's only natural that Supergirl, an engineer, would have a difference in combat ability compared to Kryptonian like General Zod, who was born with a top-tier military background.
This doesn't even mention that General Zod was trained through countless battles before rising to the rank of general. In contrast, Kara El in the Flash was captured by the Russia around the age of middle school and imprisoned in a dark and dreary laboratory for research.
The two also differed greatly in terms of training and experience.
There are differences between innate and acquired factors. If this were to turn into a scenario where an engineer defeats a general, it would be a mockery of Krypton's long-standing Codex reproductive system.
Therefore, Supergirl's failure was inevitable, and no matter how much the Flash went back in time, he couldn't change this outcome.
Carl El, who was born naturally, was captured and killed by General Zod in space, and never had a chance to show his power.
Henry thought of what General Ross had said about himself, Flawed Ones Krypton.
Although he couldn't be sure if his origins were as the Skrulls had described, nor whether the characteristics of Kryptonian were as he imagined, Henry didn't think he could possibly grow to be on par with Superman.
But What If...? Krypton's tradition is to exile naturally born Flawed Ones into space, and these babies are mostly captured by the Phantom Zone surrounding Krypton.
According to the official DC lore, the Phantom Zone Phantom Zone is largely undisputed for the absence of a concept of time. This is because it exists outside the normal spatial and temporal continuum, a transdimensional realm.
Those imprisoned within do not die. In some cases, consciousness stagnates; in others, consciousness remains active, and people can even move around inside, but are forced to endure the endless drain on their energy.
What If...? Henry's idea is true, it means Krypton sent all the Superman Seeds into the Phantom Zone, a place even more useful than cryogenic chambers. Over time, how many naturally occurring Krypton babies have been captured there?
I doubt Darkseid in DC Comics would rather see Krypton's Doomsday army than Superman's army.
Of course, it's also possible that the Phantom Zone in this universe is something else entirely, where going in means certain death and no chance of survival.
However, whether the differences between Codex born and naturally born Krypton babies were as Henry suspected, he wasn't entirely certain.
I can only guess that I wasn't born following some kind of functional template. But such a birth doesn't mean I can grow into Superman Kryptonian; perhaps I have some kind of DNA defect.
After all, Krypton's Genesis Codex is essentially an extension of the concept of eugenics. Defects in DNA, or defects that arise during the embryonic development process, will be eliminated by this reproductive system.
Natural production, however, avoids this elimination mechanism.
Whether one is a natural being or not is only related to one's future growth. What matters for survival is that one's Kryptonian identity and Kryptonian weaknesses are exposed to Nick Fury.
Fortunately, the distant past meant that the Skrulls only remembered the Kryptonian' madness and erratic behavior under different star colors, but not the changes in Kryptonian abilities.
This means that his many superpowers are probably still a secret to Nick Fury, except for the already revealed Steel Body.
But the Skrulls still remember how the Kryptonian behaved under the Yellow Sun. They would use the same divisive tactics to put themselves in this situation of confrontation with the official organization, but they wouldn't confront themselves directly.
However, judging from their previous behavior, these aliens from an advanced civilization remain as arrogant as ever. They actually dared to stand in front of the Kryptonian when they were unarmed!
Henry really wanted to unleash his fists and smash a dog's head in with one punch!
Henry took a few deep breaths to calm himself down. The other party had provided a lot of information about Krypton, which couldn't be found on Earth.
For the sake of this small benefit, I'll forgive their rudeness. After all, I've tolerated most of the faults of Earthlings, so why can't I tolerate the faults of aliens?
Henry was walking down the street when he was suddenly stopped by a car that pulled up in front of him.
The two men and the tiger stopped in their tracks. Two men in black suits got out of the car and asked, "Are you Agent Barbara Morse?"
"Yes, sir, I am Barbara Morse, a trainee agent at S.H.I.E.L.D.." Barbara replied.
The two men in black suits flashed their badges, which bore the S.H.I.E.L.D.. eagle insignia. "Hello, Agent Morse, we are agents from S.H.I.E.L.D.. 'New Orleans branch. We are here on orders to transport you to the Air Force base."
One of them glanced at Kitty and said, "Because the Passenger include an adult Tiger, we can't arrange for you to travel on a regular commercial airliner. The only way to get you back to Los Angeles is on a military plane. You understand, right?"
"Sure," Barbara nodded eagerly, taking out her identification for verification.
