Three Women Busy at Work
No sooner had Henry and his team flown back to Los Angeles than Cruella de Vil and her team arrived.
The premiere of the movie "The Escape from Devil Island" is scheduled to be held on Alcatraz Island prison, located off the coast of San Francisco. There are just over two weeks left.
For Charlize Theron and Cruella de Vil DeVoice, this amount of time may seem like a lot, but it's actually quite tight.
The three women, including JJ Harris, were incredibly busy, even toning down their usual bickering. Every time they met, it was like fighting cocks in a cage, they had to peck at each other a few times before getting to work.
Frankly, even with Henry's Kryptonian Super Brain, he couldn't understand why the three women were so nervous.
For him, attending formal occasions is considered appropriate as long as Guang Dian isn't present. Although he understands fashion, his core values are what they are, and there's no cure for it.
However, it's a good thing that they're so busy. At least their daily bickering is reduced to just arguing.
There's no way to fight, and no way to act childishly or deliberately procrastinate. Work must take precedence over everything else.
Henry's back was a bit sore at night. He needed to sleep with—oh, no, persuade—people not to dwell on those bad things and to distract themselves.
Of course, they weren't just busy preparing dresses for the premiere. Cruella de Vil also wanted to get her Gossip Girl and photoshoot done all at once.
While the latter two events were not urgent for Charlize Theron, Cruella de Vil was attending Paris Men's Ready-to-Wear Fashion Week at the end of June, and she didn't have much time to spend in Los Angeles.
Three things were intertwined, which is the main reason why the three women were so busy.
The Vampires threat hasn't escalated yet; it's just a typical business sniping attempt. What If...? you ignore their true identities, it's like being targeted by a business tycoon who's creating obstacles everywhere.
Henry remained holed up within Stark Studios. Surrounded by the "Stark" aura, he still carried a somewhat demonic air. Troublesome matters couldn't reach him, but once they did, they were no ordinary troubles.
Henry spent a little time pointing out the parts he was behind on Git, then went back to his own work.
Then some obscene pictures started appearing online, and Henry, who happened to find such resources, naturally criticized them one by one.
Henry was contemplating whether to quietly become a good Samaritan and launch Hacker- level indiscriminate internet cleanup operation when his cell phone rang.
"Hello, this is Henry Brown. Who is calling?"
"Honey, it's me, Charlize." The girl's voice came through the phone.
"Ah, sweetheart. Did you miss me? I was just thinking about you when you called. See how in sync we are?"
"Shouldn't you be filming GG today?"
Henry certainly couldn't ignore Charlize's schedule. It wasn't to the extent of controlling her whereabouts, but rather just routine concern.
What's special about today is that they've come to borrow Stark Studios ' green screen for filming. They plan to utilize post-production techniques.
It will then be combined with other film content to align with the themes Cruella de Vil wants to express.
Henry was just thinking of taking a break a little longer when he went to visit the set. Unexpectedly, Charlize called first.
"Honey, can you do me a favor? Bring Kitty over; I want to take some photos with her."
"Hmm, are you serious?"
"Of course, very seriously. How long will it take to bring Kitty over? The faster we can get here, the better we can leave early. I miss you."
It seems today's collaboration has left her quite angry, and she desperately needs to vent. Otherwise, why would this tough South Africa woman even say something like "I miss you"?
"Okay, there won't be any traffic at this time. If I drive quickly, it should take me about 20 to 30 minutes round trip. In the meantime, you can talk to the staff on site and make the necessary preparations."
With that, Henry got up and left the office. As he passed the small secretary's office outside, he covered the receiver of the telephone and whispered to the plump, dark-skinned woman who was eating cookies, "I have to go now. Leave a message if anyone needs me, or contact me separately."
Caught off guard Julianne, ignoring the crumbs all over her, quickly got up and replied, "Okay, boss."
Henry had no choice but to calm the girl down, saying, "Don't be so flustered. Remember to keep the area around your seat clean, or you'll get an ant infestation."
"Ah, sweetheart, I'm talking to Julianne. You know her, she's always snacking." The last sentence, of course, was a conversation with the girl on the phone.
Henry waved goodbye and walked straight to the parking lot, ending his call with Charlize at the same time.
The only difference between Stark Studios ' soundstage and that of the Big Eight film studios is that it's smaller and the props are a bit outdated. However, all the equipment is made in-house; while it may not be the latest technology, it's certainly not cheap or shabby.
Since it was his own sister who wanted to use it, Henry naturally provided the best photography studio, since no one else was using it anyway.
The trouble from the Vampires led Henry to order an increase in security personnel at the film set and company. They weren't armed, but batons and pepper spray were provided.
Although these people might not be very effective against genuine Vampires.
However, the Vampires who can operate during the day are still ordinary humans. If our side has a slight numerical advantage, we won't let a few street thugs dare to come and challenge us.
Henry's old Cadillac had, of course, been registered at the doorman's desk long ago, so there was no need for the cliché scene of "the doorman blocking the CEO's way, slapping him in the face and forcing his way in."
Henry drove the car directly to the parking area outside the studio, opened the back door, and let Kitty out of the car, who wasn't chained or leashed. A collective gasp and gasp filled the air.
The 500-pound large feline, Wiggins, is not comparable to Pit Bulls, Tosa Inus, or Dogo Inus, which are generally considered dangerous breeds.
Forget about any foolish small dogs barking wildly; basically, any animal that catches the scent of Tiger will run away as fast as it can.
Only Charlize Theron, dressed in a gold jumpsuit, approached. She knelt down and gave the tiger's head a good pat. "Hello, Kitty."
"What are you planning to film? Why would you want Kitty to appear?" Henry asked.
Charlize, helped to her feet by Henry, pointed to the Legion crew members behind her who dared not approach. "Cruella de Vil wants to film a wild-themed GG, but the Africa savanna and lions are planned to be composited into existing footage using a green screen."
"But the director couldn't really say how the lion would move or how I could interact with it. Cruella de Vil was going crazy on the sidelines. I just suggested using a live Tiger; that way, we could interact however we wanted. Then we could composite the background into a grassland or jungle."
