On summer nights, even with the air conditioning on, Kitty would lazily lie on the steel cat tree. When she got too hot, she would move to another cat tree to lie on.

Henry's Kryptonian Physiology is impervious to heat and cold, but that doesn't mean he can't feel hot or cold. With such a physique, he shouldn't get heatstroke or freeze to the point of shivering and dying of hypothermia.

However, I still get a bad mood from the hot and humid weather; as for the cold, perhaps I've always been more afraid of heat than cold, even before I transmigrated. So as long as I don't catch a cold and sneeze, I feel I can endure it.

In this kind of weather, Henry was considering whether to rush up to 10,000 meters in the air to cool off, grab a beer, and enjoy the moon.

It was a full moon, Charlize was busy until very late. After talking for a while, she went back to her room to rest. So, Henry planned to enjoy the cool evening air and admire the moon before continuing to build his Undersea Laboratory.

That involved carving out a cave space from the seabed rock, and then using rust-resistant steel to build an egg-shaped enclosed chamber where only a small part of it was exposed above the seabed surface, while the rest was underground.

Because we don't plan to bring people down here, or to grow flowers or raise small animals, the interior space is filled with pure nitrogen, an inert gas, instead of regular air.

The advantage of doing this is that it prevents the growth of microorganisms and mold. Annoying insects like cockroaches and ants cannot survive in this environment. Carbon-based life on Earth would either die or go into hibernation without oxygen or carbon dioxide.

However, nitrogen is very expensive. Filling the entire egg-shaped sealed chamber to a pressure of one atmosphere would cost a lot of money. After all, this stuff cannot be synthesized and can only be extracted from natural gas.

To solve this problem, Henry set up an underwater natural gas extraction site in another location. Methane, known as combustible ice, is stored in large quantities on the seabed, but in the world before his time travel, even thirty years later, there was still no way to extract and utilize it.

The biggest challenge is how to seal the gas pipeline from the seabed to the surface while also resisting seawater corrosion and damage from underwater organisms.

Taking offshore oil drilling platforms as an example, pipeline leaks are always a problem that needs constant attention. Moreover, this involves methane, which is primarily a gas, so the problems in the pipelines are even more numerous.

Henry's approach was to build a collection site directly on the seabed. As long as the outer shell was maintained, the methane could be processed and utilized directly without worrying about pipeline issues. Although his main purpose was to extract nitrogen to fill his Undersea Laboratory, the collected methane could also be used to generate electricity! It was a win-win situation.

The oxygen needed for methane power generation can be provided by electrolyzing seawater. Initially, the electricity can be provided by turbine generators driven by ocean currents.

The underwater generator set designed by Henry can provide a rated power generation capacity of 50MW. Ordinary generators only have a rated capacity of 3000 to 8000W.

Compared to the miniaturized Arc Reactor that Tony Stark later built in the cave, its exaggerated 3G Joules of power output and 50MW...

It may seem insignificant, but it can actually supply electricity to a town of ten thousand people.

It's important to know that the total daily electricity consumption of all of Europe is only about 350 GW. A 50 MW generator unit is used to power a laboratory.

There are so many things we can do.

However, these are all still under construction, and Henry cannot predict what problems might arise. He can only wait and see how they are resolved in the future.

Basically, the "shell" of the Undersea Laboratory and methane power plant has been built. During this time, Henry has been testing the suitability of the laboratory itself and slowly transferring some simple equipment and ocean current turbine generators there.

Once it's ready to be used, Henry plans to study Kree and Skrull alien technologies here. Although Sheep Cave Valley Laboratory is remote and secluded, those with the will can still find and enter.

While the Undersea Laboratory isn't foolproof, it's far less difficult to discover than the Sheep Cave Valley Laboratory, let alone enter. As long as Namor's group of Atlanteans doesn't cause trouble, the laboratory's safety is guaranteed.

Incidentally, the reason for not going to the moon is because there are a lot of messy things there, and a lot of people are interested in them. For example, the Inhumans city of Attilan is located in the Blue Area of the moon. It was only after confirming this that Henry ruled out that option.

In contrast, the seabed has become a blind spot, with only a very few oceanographers paying attention to its conditions. As long as they don't cause any trouble and create massive pollution, Marvel's underwater kingdom of Atlantis probably won't care about them.

Although Henry hasn't encountered these Atlanteans yet, it means he hasn't searched the entire underwater world.

Just as they were considering what to move to the Undersea Laboratory, there was a knock on the door. Kitty didn't move, while Henry wondered who would come looking for him so late.

Turning my head and using my X- X-Ray Vision, I saw Charlize standing outside the door.

Henry, filled with doubt, went to open the door. Seeing the person, he feigned surprise and said, "Sweetheart, weren't you going to rest? Can't sleep again?" He then tried to pull her inside.

Charlize swatted away Henry's outstretched hand and, holding the phone, said, "Cruella de Vil's asking if you saw Jasper today?"

"Her tall, skinny sidekick? No. What's wrong?" Henry asked.

Charlize said, "Cruella de Vil is busy with Fashion Week in Paris. She sent Jasper to Los Angeles to deliver some invitations, including yours."

"But she called that evening to ask about Jasper's progress, but couldn't reach him. So she contacted me to ask if you had seen him."

"Because you're number one on the list, Jasper will come looking for you first, then for the others. What If...? even you don't see him, there's a good chance something's wrong."

"Did Cruella de Vil say that?" Henry, his guard up, asked.

Charlize curled her lip and said, "She's a very controlling woman. Do you think Jasper, working under her, would dare to sneak off and do his own thing elsewhere? Those two Badens are completely under her thumb; they wouldn't dare to do anything reckless."

Thinking about the trouble he was in, What If...? Cruella de Vil's people were implicated because of him and targeted by Vampires, something bad could happen.

Henry said seriously, "I understand. I have some connections on the street, I'll go out and inquire now. You tell Cruella de Vil, then go and rest. Leave these things to me."

"Can I stay here? You can tell me immediately if anything happens. I'm also a little worried about Jasper. Although he looks a bit like a thug, he's actually a pretty good person."

Henry didn't want to make things difficult for his girl's request. He stepped aside and let Charlize go inside. He went to change his clothes and get his car keys first.
