Making Serum

The unusual stability of the Vampire Virus is probably why the hematologist in the movie "Blade" was able to cultivate a retrovirus in just a few days.

However, the Vampire Serum in the movie only works on people who have just been infected by the virus but haven't fully transformed into Vampires. What If...? they have already transformed, they will be killed by the serum.

So, should we get a vial of this serum for use?

Cruella de Vil is a valuable designer, after all, she was introduced by Givenchy. And although she's noisy, she seems to click with Charlize. So maintaining this alliance is worthwhile.

Moreover, this Vampire Serum can also be used to win over Blade and Abraham Whistler.

Since the Vampires bit Jasper Baden, it was a signal that war was about to break out. If you didn't want to waste time hunting down the Vampires, supporting the Vampires hunters was undoubtedly the best way.

Even disregarding the Marvel Universe context, based on the information Black Super knew about Vampires hunters, Blade's assessment was the highest. It's just that his half- Vampires status made many people suspicious, which is why they were unwilling to cooperate with him.

Thirdly, during his time Tinkerer, he synthesized many common medicines using chemical methods. He was not a complete novice in the medical field.

Although retroviruses belong to the category of genetic engineering and are vastly different from the chemical synthesis we've encountered before, Black Super actually possesses the relevant knowledge; he just hasn't had any practical experience with them.

Perhaps this is a chance for real-world application.

Moreover, for Jasper Baden, if he doesn't find a way to save him, he's doomed. Black Super can't possibly leave a transformed Vampires next to Cruella de Vil.

What If...? Jasper Bardem cannot regain his human identity, even if Abraham Whistler doesn't kill him, Black Super will still catch him and put him in the Sun Pharma.

Even if doing so would severely offend Cruella de Vil, this black-and-white witch has too many opportunities to get close to Charlize Theron. This kind of threat cannot be ignored.

With so many reasons to intervene, Black Super certainly wouldn't remain silent any longer. He glanced at Jasper Baden, whose condition had largely stabilized but who was starting to run a fever, and said, "Take care of him for me. I'm going to make the serum."

"Make serum! How do you plan to make serum?" Abraham Whistler asked in surprise.

He shook the blood he had drawn from Jasper Baden before injecting the garlic extract Black Super said, "This contains Vampire Virus in its transformation phase. Since it's a virus, we'll treat it using methods for treating viruses. You understand, right?"

Are you sure it will work?

"If he can't be used, he's doomed. Isn't that right?" the Black Super electronic voice said coldly. "That's why I didn't take him with me."

"Because I need your help to confirm that the serum I made is effective. What If...? it's not, then he died from the previous Vampires attack."

Abraham Whistler and Blade exchanged a glance, and the limping old Vampires hunter said, "You know, he doesn't have much time to wait for you to slowly create a usable serum."

"I know. So I should go and do what I'm supposed to do now, shouldn't I?"

As soon as the man in Black Super turned and disappeared into the blind spot of the two Vampires hunters, he used his Super Speed and flight ability to return to the Sheep Cave Valley Laboratory.

The two who remained weren't particularly interested in the boastful guy; their conversation was limited to casual chatter.

Abraham Whistler asked, "Where did that guy come from?"

"I was tracking down and dealing with a group of Vampires assassins when this guy suddenly appeared. He came for the guy on the workbench."

Do you know who he is?

"Not Vampires, and not a cop. That's enough."

"He doesn't look like someone from the X-Men or the Brotherhood of Mutants." Based on his ability to defend against silver spikes, Abraham Whistler guessed that the mysterious figure was a member of the Mutants. However, the person didn't seem to be a member of either of the two publicly known Mutants organizations.

"Who cares?" Blade swept the banknotes he had poured out back into his backpack and threw them in front of the lame old Vampires hunter.

Picking up his backpack, Abraham Whistler asked again, "Is there really 100,000 coins here?"

"Roughly counted. I didn't count them precisely." Blade approached the wounded man lying on the workbench and asked, "What are we going to do with this guy?"

"Find a rope and tie him up. I don't have time to be a babysitter, and I don't want him running around." The lame old Vampires hunter said, while picking up a cardboard box and starting to tidy up the clutter on the table.

Just as he found the rope Blade to tie someone up, he saw the old man, who was both a teacher and a friend, making a gesture, and frowned, asking, "Is this necessary?"

"Once we get rid of this guy, it'll be time to move our base. Regardless of whether he meant any harm, a base known to too many people is already a security concern. You don't want to be sleeping one day and have your hideout raided, do you? Fuck!"

Abraham Whistler let out a furious outburst, nearly startling even the usually composed Blade.

His lips twitched, Blade asked coldly, "What are you cursing?"

"Was that shady-looking guy just now, the one who called himself Black Super?"

"He's not Black. You saw his skin color under his gloves too. Color blindness doesn't include being unable to distinguish between black and white," Blade retorted. "Besides, I don't know what he calls himself."

Abraham Whistler stepped aside, allowing Blade to see the computer mainframe they used to control the monitors.

On the screen of one of the large, bulky CRT monitors, which should have displayed the Windows 95 operating interface, a single image now filled almost half the screen.

It says on it: I can see you. (Black Super)

"That guy hacked into our computer mainframe? How did he do that?" Blade asked in surprise.

"Damn it, I don't know either."

For an elderly Vampires hunter with white hair, learning to use a computer at his age was already a remarkable achievement. Being able to install a monitor, wire the cables, and connect the computer himself surpassed the vast majority of computer users.

However, writing programs skillfully to infiltrate other hosts on the network, like Hacker, is beyond his capabilities. Even if he followed the DOS-era practice of entering safe mode and running a virus scan, he wouldn't find anything unusual.

The Black Super didn't actually implant a virus; instead, it introduced a worm. However, this is something that current antivirus software hasn't realized it should be focusing on, so naturally, it can't even be found.

Blade, however, stared intently at the text on the screen, pondering, "What's this person's intention? Are they here to cause trouble?"
