Just as dawn was breaking, Black Super reappeared at Blade's secret base in the warehouse district.

The old man was a light sleeper, woke up early, and was quiet. Even Blade, who treated meditation as a form of rest, woke up after being startled by the approach of outsiders.

This was obviously intentionally done by Black Super to be discovered. Otherwise, what difficulty would he have had in sneaking in silently?

Upon meeting, Black Super immediately turned his gaze to Jasper Baden, who was strapped to the workbench, and asked, "He's not dead yet, is he?"

It was also noted that Blade had a specific purpose in placing the person on this workbench last night. At least this morning, the sunlight streaming through the window perfectly covered this area of the workbench.

The man, basking in the sunlight, wore a pained expression, seemingly suffering from considerable discomfort.

Abraham Whistler approached to examine the wound, especially the bite site. After a moment, he said, "His bite wound is still worsening; it seems the garlic extract from last night wasn't very effective. Any progress with your antivenom?"

The Black Super reached out and touched the bite mark with some of the mucus, asking, "Is the assessment based on the bite wound? How can we tell if it's improving?"

Yesterday, his computer was hacked. Abraham Whistler, who had intended to show a displeased expression, replied seriously, "The wound has healed, which means that damned bastard has met his end."

"It could be a complete transformation, or it could be that he's been freed from the Vampire Virus. If it's oozing pus like this, it's usually not a good sign. What If...? you don't have the serum, prepare a silver bullet for him."

"Silver bullets can kill Vampires? I thought they were only useful against Werewolves," Black Super asked coldly in an electronic voice.

The old Vampires hunter explained, "Silver works on most dark creatures, preventing their regeneration. Once they lose their ability to regenerate, they have a chance to be killed."

Are there any other weaknesses?

Perhaps because they were equally interested in what was being discussed, Abraham Whistler didn't hesitate to say, "Garlic extract, you know."

Vampires eats a tube of garlic extract doesn't just suffer near death; they actually die.

"I've heard that in Europe, they use bullets containing silver nitrate solution or bullets that emit ultraviolet radiation, which are said to kill Werewolves and Vampires respectively. But I've only heard rumors about them; I've never seen any of them."

"Want that kind of weapon? I can help develop it," Black Super said, taking a vial of serum from his pouch at his waist.

Upon hearing that Black Super was willing to help, neither the old Vampires hunter with the tumor-like leg nor Blade, who had just come down the stairs, responded immediately. They both wanted to see if the serum in the mysterious figure's possession would be effective.

Black Super seemed completely unconcerned, proceeding with the injection. He injected a considerable dose of his homemade serum into Jasper Baden's body.

The moment the serum entered his body, Cruella de Vil's tall, thin henchman curled up like a roasted squid, convulsing violently, foaming at the mouth, and letting out a low growl from deep in his throat.

Black Super remained completely calm, simply placing one hand on Jasper Baden's chest to prevent him from rolling off the workbench.

The other two, however, watched the spectacle with an attitude of indifference.

When the convulsions stopped, the man on the workbench was drenched in sweat, as if he had just finished a vigorous workout.

"Is he still alive?" Abraham Whistler asked as he approached.

"Not dead yet." Black Super observed Jasper Baden's vital signs and then looked at the bite marks on his neck before stepping back and gesturing for Abraham Whistler to step forward.

The old Vampires hunter with the tumor-like leg naturally stepped forward with great interest to examine it, flipping and scratching it.

Even Blade came to Jasper's side and looked at him together, asking, "Is the serum working?"

"It seems to be working. The white pus is no longer oozing from the bite mark, but rather normal pus and blood. The redness in the eyes has subsided considerably."

His teeth haven't changed. What If...? he can still Sun Pharma by tomorrow morning, he should be fine.

Abraham Whistler looked at Black Super excitedly and asked, "How did you manufacture this serum?"

Black Super didn't hold back, taking all the test tubes containing serum from his prop bag and placing them on the table. He also put a 3.5-inch floppy disk on top.

"This is the serum I produced in one go; the rest is on the floppy disk. The production process and ingredient quantities are recorded. However, we don't have enough equipment for you to make it here."

"Hmm, Black Super, huh?" Abraham Whistler picked up the test tube and looked at the pale blue serum solution inside. "Why are you doing this, even suggesting it can help us develop weapons?"

"I have a grudge against Vampires, is that a valid reason?"

Blade said, "That's not enough. If you want to cooperate with us, we at least need to know who you are. How can I be sure you won't betray us to the Vampires?"

It has to be said that the other party's reasoning was very compelling. Even Black Super himself wouldn't want to cooperate with someone hiding their true identity. Black Super ripped off his hood, revealing his true face.

"It's you!" "Who are you?"

Knowing he had been recognized, Black Super put his mask back on. While he was adjusting himself, Abraham Whistler, frustrated by the ignorance of his student, could only patiently explain:

"He's the man who recently made the Vampires list, Henry Brown, CEO of Stark Studios."

"That guy who sleeps with female celebrities?" Blade's mouth spewed filth.

Suppressing the urge to smash the other guy's head in, Black Super said, "I won't admit to anything. So you're trying to use my identity against me?"

Please consider this carefully. Ignore those meaningless rumors.

Abraham Whistler said, "What I don't understand is, why are those Vampires targeting you? Could it be something you've all conspired together? They want Stark Industries and Tony Stark; I'm just a stepping stone."

"Well, that's typical Vampires behavior."

Black Super continued, "I'm not good at fighting, and I don't have that much time to get entangled with Vampires. But I'm good at technical things, including computers."

The Black Super pointed to the computer he had hacked yesterday. As for the part where he blatantly lied, don't take it to heart.

"So I can fund you—money, serum, high-tech bullets, better surveillance systems. The exchange is that you help me Carnage Vampires. That's what you're good at, isn't it?"

The master and apprentice exchanged a glance, Blade nodded, saying, "This offer isn't bad." For them, even without sponsorship, they would still kill Vampires. Getting extra payment now was certainly a good thing.

However, Abraham Whistler was more concerned about something else. He asked, "Does the serum work on everyone, or only on that lucky kid?"

"It should work for people who have just been infected with the Vampire Virus but haven't fully turned into Vampires yet. But for other types of Vampires, I suggest you find an unlucky soul to test it on first," Black Super said frankly.

"What about patients with Bloodlust Syndrome? How effective are they?"

"Who is the Bloodlust Syndrome patient?" Black Super looked at Blade's cold face and said, "You? I suggest you don't try that serum."

Because it doesn't sound right.

"If you're willing to cooperate with the testing, I can develop a serum specifically for your symptoms. Just help me kill a few more Vampires."
