Serum for Bloodlust Syndrome

While a dark shadow flying through the air in broad daylight would be quite noticeable, it wouldn't be so obvious in the city when running at Super Speed.

Just be careful to stay away from densely populated areas to avoid the shockwaves from your running that could sweep over unrelated people and attract their attention.

Black Super returned to the warehouse district, the location of Blade's secret base.

They were the first to use their Super Senses reconnaissance, and apart from Blade and Abraham Whistler, the two Vampires hunters, there was no one else present. It didn't seem like their secret base had been invaded by enemies, hence the call for help.

So what's the emergency they're in?

After approaching a certain distance, the sound of Black Super's combat boots clicking on the ground filled the air. This was within the range monitored by the surveillance system he had set up.

The reason for doing this, of course, is to remind the other person that you have arrived.

Moreover, the surveillance he helped set up couldn't detect his comings and goings, which felt like he was giving himself a back door. In order to gain the trust of those two suspicious Vampires hunters, Black Super had to act less monstrous.

Whether they believe it or not. Often, as long as the final unspoken understanding isn't broken, everyone can get along. That's the current cooperative relationship between Black Super and Blade.

"You've arrived," the old Vampires hunter with the long legs greeted them first.

And Blade is quite rare; he stays in the secret base during the day.

Although the main time for hunting Vampires is at night, Blade usually goes out during the day to gather intelligence or collect materials for crafting weapons and equipment on behalf of Abraham Whistler.

After all, elderly people with legs have difficulty moving around.

Regarding the treatment of retrovirus serum that hasn't fully transformed into Vampires yet, but has just been infected with the Vampire Virus, Black Super handed over the manufacturing process and material formula.

According to Blade, injecting this serum into a fully transformed Vampires can result in a spectacular headshot, with lethality no less than that of the original weapon.

Abraham Whistler denied this claim. He said, "Remember when you said you could help develop a serum to treat Blade's Bloodlust Syndrome?"

"I remember. But I also remember that you refused."

Abraham Whistler said, "Previously, there wasn't enough trust between us, and Blade didn't want you to take his blood sample to do anything else."

"And you know, the military's research on super soldiers hasn't stopped at all. We don't want to create more Vampires."

Or something similar, or perhaps even worse.

"So?"

"We hope you can conduct your research here, and please don't take your blood samples out of this area."

Blade nodded in agreement with Abraham Whistler's statement.

The old Vampires hunter with the tumor-like leg continued, "I found these equipment according to the requirements you provided for making the First Embrace Serum. What If...? there's anything missing, just tell me, and I'll naturally find ways to get the right things."

Without a word, the Black Super started adjusting the equipment. He said, "Draw a vial of blood yourself. There aren't any smiling nurses here. It's either that old man or me. Find someone you're satisfied with."

Although he said he would let Blade choose, Black Super didn't seem to want to get any closer. Blade was left with only two options: either have his own blood drawn or have the old man help him.

Finally, he said, "Whistler, come and help me out."

Injecting yourself is fine, but drawing your own blood is a bit more difficult. The old Vampires hunter with rotten legs didn't object. After putting a tourniquet on Blade, he used a syringe to draw a full tube of blood.

Seeing that the blood sample had been drawn, the Black Super walked over, took the syringe, and without removing the needle, put a few drops on a glass slide before transferring the remaining blood into a test tube and placing it on the test tube rack.

The blood sample from the Blade under the microscope is quite different from the situation previously observed in Jasper Baden, who was infected with the Vampire Virus and undergoing transformation.

Cells infected with the Vampire Virus are characterized by binucleation, and red blood cells become biconvex instead of the normal biconcave shape.

Blade's blood has a very peculiar characteristic. Normal human cells and Vampires cells coexist within him, yet the virus in his body does not appear to infect or modify normal cells. The two coexist harmoniously.

"Hmm, the situation with your blood sample is quite unusual," the Black Super asked. "How do you usually suppress your Bloodlust Syndrome? Do you drink hospital blood bags like beverages?"

"No, I'll inject garlic extract directly. Although it's painful at the time of injection, it will suppress my bloodlust."
