The ultraviolet radiation spread outwards instantly until it encountered an impenetrable barrier. The Vampires were powerless to resist and were instantly incinerated by the purple light. The flames were so fierce that even their undergarments were not spared.

Vampires truly lived up to their own claim of being "more evolved beings." A few quick-witted individuals immediately took cover the moment they saw the purple-glowing object spring out. This rapid reaction allowed some Vampires to react in a short time.

For those who want to hide behind their companions, a specially designed wave of Ultraviolet Grenade attacks will ignite those who think they are safe as the Vampires, which are being used as cover, spontaneously combust and turn to ash.

Only a few Vampires, with their clear minds and knowledge of the properties of the Ultraviolet Grenade from the survivors, found truly useful solid cover, such as small garbage trucks or corners of concrete buildings.

The attack did not bring peace to the world. Some of the Vampires who were hunting Jack Reacher did indeed die from the Ultraviolet Grenade attack, but the surviving Vampires quickly launched a counterattack.

This time, the man on the plane merely touched the rings on his left thumb and little finger, and the silver-plated claws of the Duck Leopard armor shot out. The unfortunate fellow, who had been suppressed by Kitty from the start, had his heart pierced directly by the silver-plated claws, and he instantly turned to ashes.

Cute Tiger Kitty's playtime!

The quadrupedal gravity catapult gives Kitty incredible acceleration and the ability to move across different planes at different angles.

With a leap and a turn, the metal Monster stood atop the wall, looking down at the Vampires who had missed their target. Then, it pounced again, its front paws plunging into the Vampires' bodies; at the same time, its tiger tail whipped through the air, knocking down the Vampires that had fallen behind.

The Vampires in front turned to ash and died. The one behind was hit and tried to get up to fight back, but saw that the long tail split apart, and the internal device emitted an ominous purple light, making the whole long tail look like a purple whip.

With another lash of the whip, this time the whip was like a hot knife, slicing the Vampires open like butter. It even caused him to spontaneously combust from the cut, the flames spreading throughout his body.

The guy who hid the furthest away witnessed the entire attack by the Duck Leopard armor—Leopard Type. Without a second thought, he turned and ran.

Henry, who had been on guard all along, was not about to let any witnesses slip by. Far away on the long-haul plane, he lightly tapped the rings on his fingers once more, and the Railgun hidden in his shoulder popped out, the iron-core silver-cased Negasonic Teenage Warhead killing instantly!

With Vampires being the main enemy recently, Henry naturally plated all the melee weapons at hand with a layer of silver, or used silver with added UV Radiant Fluid.

These dark creatures, who consider themselves superior to humans and to have a higher level of evolution, are so vulnerable when faced with targeted weapons.

To protect his eyes and withstand the anticipated blast, Jack Reacher covered his eyes and lay flat on the ground.

However, this "flashbang" did not emit the intense white light of six million candrades; instead, it emitted a dark, faintly deep blue glow. Furthermore, it lacked the massive blast and noise to damage one's hearing or nerves.

He first opened one eye to make sure the flashbang's effects had worn off before opening the other.

As he opened his eyes and stood up, he saw the Duck Leopard armor retract a gun-like device. In the distance, a Vampires turned to ash.

Ignoring his injuries, Jack Reacher asked, "Are they Vampires?"

Henry answered through the Little Duck, "I believe that with your keen observation skills, you can arrive at the correct answer."

"This is what you call 'three-second Reinforcements '? I think it's been more than three minutes. According to my estimate, it's been about six minutes, barely under seven."

The most time was spent on putting on Kitty's armor. Luckily, there was a reference to Iron Man's future assistive device, which led to the design of this suit for Kitty. Otherwise, it would have taken hours to complete the task by hand.

But Henry explained his broken promise, "The three-second man in the first rescue plan happened to be taking a dump. You can't expect him to have the same Super Speed when he poops."

"The second plan was also inconvenient to use. So this is the third plan, something I came up with on the spot. Since you didn't die, my rescue can be considered a success."

Jack Reacher said irritably, "I'm glad I didn't take your three-second rescue seriously, otherwise I would have had to wait until the last minute. But I have to admit, your Reinforcements were indeed unexpected. This is... a mechanical leopard?"

Henry didn't give a direct answer, but instead said evasively, "Take that as you see fit." He then asked, "But how did you end up being hunted by Vampires? Someone like you isn't on their menu, given their tastes."

"They prefer to target delicate women or men who seem sexually driven but are generally healthy. Muscular men will resist; unless you appear strong on the outside but weak on the inside, you won't fit their hunting criteria."

Jack Reacher walked over to the woman lying on the ground and checked her condition. He said, "I saw that group of people attacking a woman, and she cried for help. That's why I intervened to help her, but I didn't expect to encounter such opponents."

Curious, Kitty naturally followed. This gave Henry the opportunity to see the woman's condition through Kitty's external monitor. "She's been bitten by Vampires?"

"It seems that's the case." Jack Reacher looked at the two obvious teeth marks on her neck, where the bleeding had stopped. "Is there any hope for her? Or will she turn into Vampires?"

Don't you know her?

Jack Reacher shook his head. "No, we really don't know each other."

"But you stepped forward." Henry chuckled in an electronic voice, deeply moved. He truly lived up to his protagonist status.

Immediately, a small drawer popped out of the medical magazine on the opposite side of the weapon compartment. "This is Vampire Serum. Give this person an injection, and we won't have to worry about her being transformed."

Looking at the contents of the rapid-injection syringe—a cloudy white solution he'd never seen before— Jack Reacher asked skeptically, "Is this really going to work?"

Henry said through the Little Duck, "If a person is bitten within 24 hours, they can definitely be saved as long as they don't die directly from blood loss."

"Within 72 hours, there's only a chance. Excessive blood loss could allow her to pass away with some dignity, rather than turning her into Monster that's neither human nor ghost."

"If she's already turned into Vampires, this injection will kill her instantly. I've heard the death method is a body explosion, which is certified by the Vampires hunters of Los Angeles."

Jack Reacher didn't dwell on academic questions, asking directly, "Where to inject?"

"The neck, on the other side of the bite site."

Without thinking twice, Jack Reacher picked up the syringe and injected the needle into the woman's neck.

"Put the used syringe back where it was. I don't want to leave anything strange behind that could become evidence for the police or a clue to trace me." As for the Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Henry thought, "I'll retrieve it later."

Jack Reacher put the syringe back in the small drawer and looked at the medical case that had been closed again. Before he could even speak, the belated police cars arrived with their sirens blaring, approaching from afar, and there was more than one siren.

Henry, speaking through the Little Duck, asked in an electronic voice, "Have there been other witnesses who reported this to the police? Or is it possible that the incident was reported elsewhere?"

"Before I started rescuing people, I called for help from passersby to call the police. There was a good chance they were coming this way," Jack Reacher confessed.

"So, you're doing a good deed, it's okay if you end up in the police station, right? Given the extent of the Vampires trouble lately, explaining to the police that you didn't bite that woman on the ground shouldn't be too difficult."

Picking up his backpack from the ground, Jack Reacher checked that the contents were undamaged and said, "Is there a safe house or somewhere to stay temporarily? What I have in my hands isn't suitable for the police station."

You still dare to meddle in other people's business?

Henry almost blurted out that complaint. However, he still controlled the Duck Leopard armor to transform its back armor, revealing a riding seat.

Because of the armor support, having someone ride on it doesn't put any burden on Kitty. It doesn't change her center of gravity or her agility. At most, it just provides a place to sit and a place to put her hands and feet.

"Get on yourself, hold on tight, and grit your teeth."
