Hearing the noise behind them, Quicksilver and his sister turned around simultaneously, then jumped in surprise. "Who are you?" "Kree Reeve?"

To conceal his identity, he even altered his facial features. While he doesn't look exactly like the famous Superman actor, at least "Henry Brown's " original appearance is no longer easily discernible.

Feeling that wasn't safe enough, the man in the Superman costume took an adjustable wrench from the trunk of his car. He used Heat Vision to melt it down and remake it into a silver mask, which he then wore.

However, this action was probably the last vestige of her resolve before she even put on the clothes.

Seeing this, Pietro asked, "Is it necessary?"

Superman merely glanced at them, showing no interest in replying. With a lift of his head, he soared into the air and flew towards New York.

Seeing the person fly away, Pietro, left behind, was dumbfounded, staring in the direction they had flown. Unfortunately, in the darkness, his eyesight wasn't good enough to see everything clearly. He muttered, "Was it necessary?"

Wanda flicked her brother on the forehead, snapping him out of his daze, and said, "Hurry up and get me here; we're going to fight too."

"Oh." Pietro supported Wanda's lower back and the back of her neck. He then unleashed his Super Speed, running all the way from Fenwick, Connecticut, back to Manhattan, New York.

Under the moonlight, two men floated facing each other above Manhattan Island.

One person wore a yellow battle suit, a blue cape, and a black belt with an "S" symbol on it. The other person wore a blue battle suit, a red cape, and an "S" symbol with a pentagonal diamond frame on their chest.

Because it was night, both figures were somewhat blurry and difficult to see clearly. The Void figures were even darker, as if they were shrouded in darkness by something from another dimension.

The sudden sight of another "person" in mid-air caused the Void to halt its original shadow-devouring action. It tilted its head and looked at the person before it.

He spoke in a magnetic voice that seemed to echo, "I never imagined someone would dress up as Superman. But judging from your ability to fly, you're not the kind of person who's just doing this for no reason. So why not cherish your life and come to me instead?"

Superman, wearing a mask, wasn't as talkative as the others. He knew there was nothing to talk about with the Void; it was an opponent no outsider could defeat with mere words.

Moreover, at a certain level of existence, words possess power. There's no doubt that the Void belongs to this level of being. This makes others even less inclined to waste time talking to him.

In the next instant, Superman kicked the Void three blocks away, leaving a deep ditch in the ground.

This attack, which appears to be extremely destructive, actually causes very little damage.

Superman originally intended to grab one of the opponent's arms and then strike the opponent repeatedly with his other hand, reducing the distance the opponent could use to cushion the impact and transfer the destructive force.

Just moments before he could grab the Void arm, the supreme being in the yellow and blue suit retreated. He retreated to a distance beyond Superman's reach and prepared to counterattack.

To avoid a counterattack, Superman reversed his head and feet, and delivered a sweeping kick towards the Void.

When the whip kick is destined to fail, because the enemy has taken another step back, not even the tip of the shoe can reach the opponent.

Superman switched from sweeping to thrusting, one leg like a spear piercing the Void's heart, sending him flying.

The process was so complex that it was no less than an extreme exchange, the kind where failure could cost you your life.

But for the two of them, this was not even an appetizer. Like two top boxers in a ring, they were constantly probing each other in the first round of punches.

Despite each strike being imbued with deadly force, the fact that it was difficult to land a punch or deflect the force in other ways was also frustrating.

These actions appear to be instinctive reactions to both sides. Without any special training, the body naturally performs these protective maneuvers.

The Void seemed unwilling to give up his verbal attack, and said again, "Your strength is truly surprising, but do you think you have any chance of defeating me? I possess the power of a million exploding stars, you understand that, right? Haha, you certainly understand."

The Void possesses a certain degree of telepathic ability. Although it is not as powerful as Mutants like Professor X, who can influence physiology through psychological suggestion, it is not a problem for it to see into the thoughts of the person in front of it.

Superman, wearing a mask, didn't guard against this, or rather, he didn't care whether his true self was exposed. Whoever threatens the world's safety, he will defeat them. It's that simple.

From the moment he put on the red and blue battle suit with the "S" on it, his thoughts became less complicated than usual. He was also more convinced that his previous decision was correct; he simply didn't trust anyone else to handle the Sentry, or rather, the Void.

Those people I named before I put on my uniform, I probably didn't believe had any chance of winning.

If it's time to fight the Sentry, who else but me?

This change was something he hadn't anticipated at first, and he hasn't thought about it now. His immediate priority is dealing with the Sentry the Void personality has manifested.

The only chance is to awaken the goodness within him.

He spoke in the Void, seductive tone. "Oh, you want to awaken the Sentry, or rather, that cowardly Robert Reynolds. You hope to cooperate with them to suppress my personality."

"Yes, yes, that's certainly a viable approach, and cowardly Robert has done it more than once. At least he thinks he has, and I'm content to remain in a corner of his heart."

"You see, he's so afraid of being seen by the world, afraid that people will remember him as a drug addict, afraid of losing the praise, afraid of losing his followers and the women who admire him."

"The more he fears these things, the stronger I become. For we are one, and the Sentry is merely the greater part of us. But without either part, we would cease to exist."

"And what about you, Superman? Wearing this classic red and blue suit with an 'S' symbol on your chest, do you become the perfect man from the comics? What If...? so, why wear such an inappropriate mask?"

The Void, which was floating cross-legged, the Void waved its hand, and the mask on Superman's face was removed, floating not far in front of it. An invisible force squeezed the metal mask until it was compressed into a smooth, shiny ball the size of a fingertip.

This wasn't because Superman wanted to listen to the Void's the Void and therefore didn't take any action. Rather, it was because he was using his experience from their brief previous encounter to think about how to win; or rather, how to win with the least cost and the least damage.

Self-control is always the biggest challenge for Superman.

Even after the mask was removed, he wasn't too worried about his face being exposed. It wasn't because his face shape had been altered, but because he genuinely didn't care anymore.

However, Superman's appearance finally caught the attention of the U.S. military who remained on the lookout post. These men watched as the Sentry continued their rampage in Manhattan, taking one life after another. Even with their deep resentment, their only task was to keep an eye on the Sentry.

When, barely glimpsed in the dim light, the man in the bright red cloak stood before the Sentry in the night sky, the S-Shield flapping loudly in the evening breeze. The U.S. military soldiers observing from a distance were also bewildered by the wind.
