War Dogs
Henry didn't know whether Tony Stark had made the same discovery, or to what extent he knew about it.
However, both of them tacitly avoided linking their respective resources with Stark Studios ' "Hollywood Kid," precisely for this reason.
Besides being wary of each other, we should also be wary of this third party.
In the world of Hacker, only losers think about calling the police and using public power to solve problems.
Since the other party has come, they should be treated to good food and wine, and perhaps a little rat poison or some kind of stimulant. Which one they fall for depends entirely on their cunning and luck.
In Henry's memory, however, the main task of Wakanda's War Dogs was to retrieve Vibranium artifacts that had been lost and the advanced technological products developed by Wakanda.
So the question arises: given that this country has maintained a policy of isolation for so long, why are so many things still scattered abroad?
The common explanation is that it was stolen. What If...? they really closed themselves off from the world, and other people don't even know the name "Wakanda," what could they possibly be stealing?
So a seemingly reasonable explanation is that when they sent people out on a mission, they didn't return, so the items were lost. But what mission were they on?
Upon closer reflection, things aren't as simple as they seem.
First of all, it is illogical for a region's technology to surpass that of other regions by several generations simply because it possesses a particular resource.
Unless Vibranium contain special radiation that could enhance the intelligence of those affected, Wakanda should have a high-IQ population. But that's not the case.
Even if Vibranium could give Wakanda a generation's lead in applied science, could a group of Africa really lead the world in theoretical science?
Even disregarding skin color and considering only population size, if a small country with a sufficiently good education system can mass-produce scientists of Albert Einstein caliber, then if that's not a joke, then I really don't know what would be.
Without a sufficiently solid foundation in theoretical science, can applied science really make rapid progress just by relying on Vibranium? It's more accurate to say that Vibranium will research itself and design a series of applications.
Technological progress relies on demand and imagination, not on a particular mineral. What If...? Wakanda's advantage lies solely in Vibranium, then it's quite reasonable that their closed-off nature means they can only produce Vibranium Spear as high-tech weaponry, even if those spears can shoot lasers.
The eldest princess of Wakanda, the genius girl Shuri, is probably still a baby. It's impossible for Wakanda to produce geniuses like Shuri generation after generation, allowing this isolated Vibranium to achieve scientific research results that are unimaginable to outsiders.
Therefore, a reasonable explanation is that Wakanda's advancement in scientific research largely relies on intelligence organizations such as the War Dogs to conduct commercial espionage outside the country. By constantly stealing technology from various countries, they have elevated Wakanda's technological achievements, which include Vibranium.
This is the main mission of Julianne Williams, the Wakanda War Dogs, while working at Stark Studios.
However, during the era of "Black Lives Matter" and "political correctness," Marvel officially dared not embed such views openly into the MCU universe. Only mindless viewers and comic book fans could believe that there was an inevitable relationship between Vibranium and technological progress.
Since Wakanda adheres to a closed-door policy, even if it steals patented technology from other countries, as long as it doesn't engage in international transactions, it naturally doesn't need to abide by the laws of those countries.
Vibranium allows them to manufacture superior products, which fosters a sense of inexplicable superiority. As a result, most citizens blindly accept that Wakanda can live a comfortable life of luxury without needing to interact with foreign countries.
Henry originally didn't want to get involved in Wakanda's affairs. But since he was leaving, he couldn't resist being a little cheeky before he went. He wanted to at least let the other party know that he wasn't some clueless idiot.
Moreover, Henry was still grateful to the other party for contributing a complete set of Wakanda technology.
After all, everything that goes by leaves a trace.
For Henry and Tony Stark, it would be better to leave something behind since they've already come all this way.
So when Henry reciprocates, Tony Stark probably won't be any less polite.
The third player was a skilled Hacker, but too naive. Henry visited the other player's server several times, but the firewall measures remained unchanged, leading him to conclude that the other player probably didn't even know he had been there.
Looking at the encyclopedias on "How to Use Vibranium," and realizing he only had five kilograms of pure Fang Metal, Henry could only cry out that he couldn't afford to play this game.
The most impressive aspect was the Vibranium processing method, which gave Henry more confidence when dealing with materials in the future. As for the technological content, although it had its highlights, it was still far behind the two great cosmic empires, the Kree and the Skrull.
The above is the background setting that excludes the fact that Wakanda originated from the prehistoric Avengers era, and that the first Black Panther existed millions of years ago, fought alongside a young Odin, and that its development has continued uninterrupted for millions of years.
This makes it impossible to explain Julianne's intentions in infiltrating Stark Studios as Wakanda War Dogs. It's impossible for Wakanda to be prescient and waiting for a Kryptonian to walk right into their trap.
What If...? we follow the Marvel Cinematic Universe's portrayal of Wakanda, this small Africa country, which claims to be the most advanced, is actually only moderately advanced.
Based on the information Henry gathered, Wakanda's technology lagged behind that of the Kree and the Skrull Empire. They lacked space jump technology, planet-destroying weapons, and so on.
Without Vibranium, it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that this country would regress to the primitive era.
However, with Henry gone from Stark Studios, the troubles of the Wakanda War Dogs are now left for the young master to handle alone. What he decides to do is none of the Kryptonian' business.
It's quite amusing that before they even went to raid Wakanda, the other side had already set their sights on them. Or perhaps their target is Stark Industries; what does movie-making technology matter to them?
Having regained his freedom, Henry once again felt that carefree and relaxed feeling.
Previously, he had to consider the Stark family's reputation and couldn't do anything too outrageous. He couldn't bring himself to do something so foolish as to take someone else's job and then smash their pot.
Now that things have been separated, everyone has no more reservations. They can do whatever they want!
To outsiders, Henry Brown, having lost the Umbrella of "Stark," should have been more cautious. In reality, however, Henry did the opposite. The first thing he did upon returning home was to deal with the family that had fled to the Yukon.
The family was traveling by long-distance bus. The Yukon Territory, which flourished during the gold rush in the late 19th century, is one of the regions in Canada with relatively well-developed transportation infrastructure.
Unlike neighboring Alaska in the United States, which relies primarily on sea and air transport Yukon Territory's rail and road transportation, while not extensive, still allows for connections between major towns.
However, this only applies to certain periods. Once winter arrives and heavy snow closes the roads, even the best transportation infrastructure will be paralyzed.
This family planned to use the last window of opportunity before the heavy snowfall to enter the Yukon Territory and isolate themselves, thinking that this would allow them to escape death.
The bus journey would take several days, passing through many sparsely populated areas. Then, a bullet from a Coachmate Lever 45-70 Coachmate Lever .45-70 shattered the plans for the to-do list.
In Canada, where bears are present and hunting is legal with a license and permit, this rifle, while not ubiquitous, is a popular classic hunting rifle.
While the possibility of a stray bullet from an unknown source accidentally injuring a passerby is very low, it has happened before.
So Canada police began investigating hunters who frequented the area near the crime scene, meticulously examining everything from their hunting rifles to their permitted ranges.
As you can imagine, the matter was dropped. The killer had long since gone back to the supermarket in Los Angeles to buy groceries and cook dinner for himself at home.
Nine tasks remain to be completed.
