The Aftermath of Taking a Step Back
The Police Station's trip yielded more results than expected.
The most direct benefit is that those people who used to cause trouble have disappeared as if they've vanished... except for that brat.
This little brat seems to be deliberately picking a fight with me and Kitty, even bringing his own food to cause trouble.
The reason for such a large difference is, of course, that Norman Osborn's actions gave others sufficient hints.
Although the bigwig didn't make any public statements, everyone was scheming against Henry Brown, hoping to get him to Middle East he had, whether through appeasement or threats.
At this moment, Norman Osborn stepped in and pulled the man out. Doesn't that mean he already had the item, but hadn't fully processed it yet, and he didn't want to give others a chance to get their hands on it?
Now that the item is in the hands of Oscorp, Henry Brown is no longer relevant. Even if someone else gets the same item from Henry Brown, it means they'll be facing off against Oscorp head-on on the same track...
For Norman Osborn, his previous silence was naturally intended to teach this silent threatening man a lesson. The previous trouble had been just right.
But if someone is Police Station and implicated in a terrorist attack by Mutants targeting the United Nations summit, the situation is completely different.
What he obtained had no legal protection whatsoever; Henry Brown could freely give it to a second or third person. This would turn the patent battle into a protracted legal war.
In other words, he had to make a statement, otherwise he would suffer even greater financial losses. However, as soon as he took action, Henry Brown's daily little troubles would disappear, unless he had to spend extra money to maintain them.
It's not a matter of who used whom or who schemed against whom; it was simply the best choice under certain circumstances.
Henry was quite surprised that Tony Stark had a lawyer. He had thought that after being detained for a few days and receiving no response from any party, he would have to turn to that lawyer for help.
As for the reward... we'll just use the new algorithmic logic and self-learning Artificial Intelligence to give him a shocking lesson.
Recently, that guy's A.L.B.B.Y. has been performing well in iteration and learning efficiency, and his greetings have been changed to be a bit arrogant.
On the one hand, I was distracted by Norman Osborn's affair and hadn't thoroughly grasped some key aspects of my mathematical research. It was time to teach him a lesson.
Selene left seven days later, Maria Stark Tom returned, as if nothing had happened.
Further developments were partly revealed through news media reports.
First, Magneto, the number one terrorist, was imprisoned in a special prison, with the intention of keeping him there until he dies.
Professor X and the X-Men, performed a great service in protecting world leaders and were once again praised and commended. However, judging from the president's reluctant expression, no one would believe that there wasn't some unsavory behavior involved.
Senator Kelly, who was originally a leading figure in the Mutant Registration Act, has adopted a somewhat intriguing stance.
He voluntarily withdrew his signature from the bill, instead actively promoting the rights of Mutants to create a more tolerant environment for this community in modern society.
Could it be that this guy didn't escape his fate of death and was replaced by Mystique, just like in the movies?
However, Henry had no intention of going up to him to prove whether he was the shapeshifter. He just hoped he wouldn't introduce an alien registration bill.
The seemingly restored daily life had only one minor flaw. And the fact that he was going to be arrested by the police, supposedly because this kid had reported him, meant Henry decided to proactively find a way to resolve the trouble.
The first thing to understand is the other party's motives, or whether there is a mastermind behind them. What If...? so, who is that person?
There is no love without a reason, nor is there hatred without a reason.
Henry didn't quite believe that anyone would want to keep a close eye on him after he had resolved the problem of his dementia medication.
Even S.H.I.E.L.D.. or other intelligence agencies wouldn't use underage brats. Minors are too unpredictable, unless they're never allowed into the decision-making circle from the start, and are merely used as tools.
But if that happens, those intelligence agencies will back down, and these kinds of troublemakers should be out of a job and shouldn't continue causing trouble.
Unless he had other interests at stake. But Henry believed he had kept those things he didn't want exposed very well hidden, and they weren't things these kids were qualified to play with. Because anyone who dared to touch that area had to be prepared for humane Destroy.
In short, Henry couldn't find a logical explanation for the other party's actions. He needed more information to help him understand the situation.
To solve this problem, Henry designed a third-generation Support Mech, codenamed "Sparrow," a spy machine. The word "alternative" is used because this spy machine could operate autonomously without the need for constant monitoring by an operator.
Brotherhood of Mutants Magneto... Oh, Magneto isn't dead yet. Anyway, he helped build a multi-functional electron microscope, allowing Henry to regain nanoscale microscopic vision with the help of the tool.
The ability of Heat Vision to adjust the shape of metal was originally replaced by an ultra-high temperature welding gun combined with a heating coil.
These two tools are certainly not as good as the original Super Vision and Heat Vision, but they are better than nothing. At least for Henry's current needs, these two tools are sufficient.
After building the Sparrow, Henry made a trip to Hungary in Europe to meet with Alexei Shostakov, because the Little Duck I was running out of power and needed its batteries replaced quickly.
Otherwise, according to the system logic, it will enter the self-destruct sequence before the remaining battery power is insufficient to cause self- Destroy. This is to prevent someone from forcibly shutting down the Little Duck by depleting its power and then disassembling it for research.
Henry brought Sparrow on this trip so he could get advice from this veteran agent.
The Red Guardian, who were hiding in their secret hideout in Hungary, were not surprised by Henry's arrival, as they had already made prior arrangements.
Although it was possible, Henry wouldn't launch a surprise attack lightly, out of respect. The battery replacement had been arranged in advance, so Alexei Shostakov obediently waited for Henry to appear.
Even though he was a super soldier, he never thought of testing the self-destruct range and power of the Little Duck.
Watching Henry deftly replace the battery, Alexei said with a hint of helplessness, "Couldn't you have increased the battery capacity, or added a generator or something? Otherwise, it'll give out a self-destruct warning when it's almost out of power."
"So... you're going to carry a nuclear-grade Support Mech with you? You don't think carrying a reactor on your person is a small matter, do you?"
Think back to the movie * Captain America: Civil War *, where Captain America's shield malfunctioned and stopped Iron Man's suit reactor. He should first thank Tony Stark for his thorough safety measures; otherwise, both of them, including his best friend, would have been sent flying.
If such a thing were to happen, Baron Zemo Helmut Zemo would be laughing in his sleep.
