"Could you help me erect a tombstone for her? Otherwise, how will I find her when I come back in the future?"

Henry didn't want to care about the child's thoughts. It was enough to be buried in this auspicious place, to become a part of nature; why tell others that someone was buried here?

After thinking it over, Henry still broke off two tree branches, tore off the bark, tied them into a cross shape, and stuck them in front of the grave. Although he didn't know if she was religious, he figured this method wouldn't be too wrong.

As Henry prepared to carve on the horizontal branch with his shovel... "Hmm, how do you spell Skye?"

Although he looked disgusted, the brat still said, "SKYE."

As he was carving, Henry realized how similar the name sounded to someone! Except that person wasn't black, and this person was already dead.

So, was this a change in the timeline? Or just a coincidence of names?

Abandoning his unrealistic superhero-hunting adventure, Henry turned his attention back to the matter at hand. Although he had involuntarily given away a child, his true objective remained. How should he proceed?

Henry had thought about this problem for a long time before.

At this point, he began to understand the psychology of being a parent, even though he had never had a child in either of his two lifetimes.

Although I consider myself open-minded and willing to respect my child's choices, a young child with limited experience is truly incapable of making the best choice for themselves. Sometimes adults are the same; otherwise, so many people wouldn't be deceived.

If it truly didn't concern me, and I knew nothing about it, then whoever was wronged or bullied would be none of my business. But I witnessed it all, and because of what I considered my "enlightened" attitude, I watched helplessly as a child walked into the Abyss...

Henry didn't want to experience that feeling of regret a second time.

Whether you call it making amends or saying the Black girl was just unlucky, Henry suddenly said to the brat who had been causing him trouble lately, "If you have nowhere to go, come with me."

One sentence was enough to make the child suppress his initial emotions and look at the person warily. "Why?"

Henry sat by the mound, gazing at the beautiful scenery below the hillside. "Initially, my reason for wanting to help that child was because I had also received help from others since I came here."

"It's just that my benefactor has passed away, and I can't repay him, nor does he need my repayment. So I just want to pass on this love."

"The reason I chose her was simply because I happened to meet her; it wasn't something I deliberately selected. But I missed that opportunity, and I regret it now. So there's no Reason to make the same mistake again in the second chance."

The brat decisively replied, "No need! Just send me back to the sewers, I'm perfectly fine there."

The reason was that they were in a mountain forest, and the child didn't think he could get out on his own. Otherwise, he would have run away by now.

This time, Henry didn't consider respecting the child's own wishes. Instead, before the child could make up his mind to rush into the woods, he grabbed him around the waist and tucked him under his arm.

He added, "I know you have experience running away from home, and I won't break your legs or force you to stay at home. I also don't expect you to do anything for me now or in the future."

"Anyway, I've done my best to give you a chance. Whether you accept it or not, whether you want to seize it or not, is ultimately in your hands."

"But for now, I'm sorry, I don't intend to put you back in the sewers. That's not a suitable place for a child to grow up."

The brat kicked and screamed, "I don't want to accept it, and I don't want to take it. Put me down. If you think it's too much trouble to take me back to the sewer, you can just leave me here. I'd rather be eaten by wolves than follow you."

"Heh, there aren't any wolves around here, but there are the Americas. They don't eat stupid, dumb kids, so you'd better save your breath."

With one hand holding the person and the other carrying two shovels, Henry once again displayed his Super Speed, placing the shovels back at the entrance of the Sheep Cave Valley Laboratory, where BB-2 would take care of them. Then he took the person back to New York, to Catherine Hepburn's house.

Although they experienced Super Speed again this time, the excited child kept moving his hands and feet and shouting, completely unlike the previous time when he lay on the side gagging for a long time.

Since she had already taken leave, the elderly woman was being cared for by Maria Stark Tom, her private nurse. With the baby assisting her, and lunch already prepared, the two adults and one child in the family were having their lunch.

Suddenly, they heard the door open and a child shouting in a hoarse voice, which naturally caught their attention.

Henry burst in, carrying a struggling child. "Kate, can I use the bathroom for a moment?"

"Bathroom?" The child hesitated for a moment, then struggled even harder. "No! I don't want to take a bath!"

"I fucking suspect you've never bathed since birth. Your bare feet are dirtier than when you're wearing shoes, and your body stinks like hell. Even if you're used to it, at least consider your roommate's nose and take care of your hygiene."

"I don't want to! Even if I stink to death, it's none of your business! Put me down!"

The two, one big and one small, went into the bathroom. Maria Stark Tom was stunned for a long while before asking, "Catherine, do you know who that child Henry brought back is?"

"Didn't I tell you that a child has been causing trouble for him and Kitty lately?"

"Ah, is that the child? Why did Henry bring him back?"

"I don't know either." The two women, who got along like friends, were chatting idly.

Suddenly, a high-pitched scream erupted from the bathroom, loud enough to wake everyone in the building. Henry scrambled out, cursing, "Damn it, that kid was a girl!"

Even the two women who were watching the show were dumbfounded.

Although Henry's X-ray vision hadn't fully recovered, his hearing was still sharp. It was impossible to expect the girl in the bathroom to take a bath by herself; she was picking out clothes that hadn't been torn by Kryptonian power, trying to put them back on.

Asking Maria Stark Tom for help to bathe the girl? Given the girl's uncooperative attitude, it would only put this motherly private caregiver in a difficult position.

So Henry spotted BB rolling to his feet and gave the order, "BB, go! Kitty Bath Mode!"

Upon hearing the familiar command name, Kitty, who was eating lunch, shuddered and jumped aside to keep an eye on BB's movements, forgetting all about eating her meat.

Upon receiving the command, the core robot immediately went to its equipment compartment, changed into its washing arm, tested a few long brushes and some boar bristle brushes, and then swaggered into the bathroom. With a slam, it closed the door!

With Tiger as its target, Kitty Bath Mode has no gentle approach, and the robot doesn't understand that either. Suddenly, the bathroom resembles World War III, filled with strange screams and crashing noises.

The door was even opened, and someone, disregarding that he was completely naked, tried to rush out.

However, after several improvements, BB was capable of wrestling with Kitty, a Tiger, to some extent, so dealing with a little girl was no problem for her. Therefore, she was forcefully pulled back by the elastic rope and winch.

The stunned actress, now the homeowner, asked, "Henry, what's going on?"

"Oh, Kate, don't worry. I'll have BB clean the bathroom after we're done inside."

"Is that what I'm worried about...?"
