The Kryptonian had naively assumed that after secretly providing support, the problems of those Mutant students at Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters would no longer have anything to do with him.
Unfortunately, an overenthusiastic pig teammate had decided to lend a hand...
Henry, who was happily making preparations for today's walk at the Hepburn Family home, heard a relentless stream of ringing, like someone holding down the doorbell. He immediately had a bad feeling.
The Hepburn Family's doorbell did not make that sort of prolonged ringing sound. It could only mean some damn guy had fingers fast enough to use this method to get someone's attention.
Skye had gone to school. So when Henry answered the door himself, he saw the face he wanted to tear apart on the doorbell monitor.
"Quicksilver, what do you want this time?"
Henry sounded irritated. Quicksilver, who had no idea why, asked aggrievedly, "This time? Again? Uh, isn't this the first time I've come looking for you on my own?"
Fine, this guy had forgotten what he had done. Henry swore that if anyone ever came looking for him in a Superman costume again, that person would definitely receive a glorious burial in the Sea of Tranquility.
"Just pretend I misspoke. If you're only here to hang out, you're welcome. We were just about to take the cat for a walk in the park, if you want to come along. But if you're bringing trouble to my door, turn left when you leave and keep walking until you see a police station."
"Please, don't be like that. I've got a whole bunch of kids here, and we've already walked a long way. Some of them are even barefoot. You wouldn't want these poor kids to keep walking somewhere else, would you?"
"What's going on?"
