Chapter 1: Uchiha Kagato

Konoha Year 54, September.

Uchiha Kagato, who had only recently turned six, wasn't out having fun with children his own age. Instead, he sat quietly on the tatami mat in his room, sighing incessantly.

He was a transmigrator. After an accidental death, a [Voice] had brought him to this world. For the past six years, Kagato hadn't heard the [Voice] that brought him here again. This wasn't a big deal in itself; he had long accepted the fact that he had transmigrated.

The problem was, he was an Uchiha! He was an Uchiha! He was an Uchiha!

This was a nightmare. Kagato had watched the anime Naruto. While he might not remember everything, he still had memories of major events, including the Uchiha clan massacre!

For the sake of his own life, Kagato had to break this deadlock. His future training couldn't just be diligent anymore; it had to be desperate!

Besides that, if he had the chance, he needed to try and befriend Itachi. Although Itachi likely wouldn't spare him just because of a little [friendship], having a connection was better than none. In fact, Kagato had tried to befriend Itachi before, but Itachi was in the Anbu, and he was just a little kid. It was difficult to meet Itachi. After entering the Ninja Academy, he might be able to use Sasuke as a connection to Itachi.

Secondly, Kagato had to start learning ninjutsu. He absolutely couldn't blend in with the carefree students at the Ninja Academy. Just then, the door opened, and a man in a Konoha ninja uniform walked in. He was Kagato's father, Uchiha Takashi.

"Kagato, your mother said you didn't train today. What's going on? Don't you want to go to school?"

At this, Uchiha Takashi's face darkened, and he looked sternly at Kagato. He could tolerate other things, but when it came to school, Uchiha Takashi wouldn't allow his son to resist!

Kagato also noticed Uchiha Takashi's arrival and suppressed his thoughts, replying softly.

"Father, I don't resist going to school."

Uchiha Takashi walked up to Kagato and sat down, his tone softening. He was very satisfied with his son.

"Then why didn't you train today? Is something bothering you?"

"Alright, after school tomorrow, Father will teach you a ninjutsu."

Kagato nodded happily. Afterward, Uchiha Takashi and Kagato chatted about some everyday matters before leaving.

Watching the door close again, Kagato carefully considered his future plans.

Learning ninjutsu from his father alone wasn't enough. He needed to shine at the Ninja Academy, ideally graduating early!

However, Kagato also knew that was almost impossible. Even a genius like Itachi took a year to graduate, let alone an ordinary clan member like him?

The era the protagonist is in is already the [post-war] period. During wartime, children would be exposed to ninjutsu at a very young age, forced to train from childhood. Therefore, during wartime, starting to learn ninjutsu at six years old wasn't remarkable; it was even a bit embarrassing. But the non-war period was different. All systems were relaxed during the non-war period. Itachi's generation was one of the earlier ones after the war, and they only got early exposure to ninjutsu at home. As for Naruto and Sasuke's generation, after six years at the Ninja Academy, they could barely perform a few Transformation Jutsus and Shadow Clone Jutsus. One could imagine that at the start of the academy, it was questionable whether they even knew how to gather chakra. Therefore, the protagonist's situation would be considered genius for Naruto and Sasuke's generation.
