After an unknown length of time, Choji let out a dull groan in his coma and slowly opened his eyes.
He felt tearing agony coming from every part of his body, especially his chest, belly, and both arms, where the pain burned fiercely.
Above him were mottled tree shadows and a somewhat glaring sky. He turned his still-dizzy head slightly and saw Shikamaru sitting beside him, as well as Yakumo and Tenten talking quietly not far away.
