Reborn as a newborn in the Limited Tsukuyomi world, Menma secretly built power and influence while investigating the Hyuga and recruiting Gato and Kakuzu. He devastated Kumogakure, forced a ceasefire, and left Hizashi questioning the truth of the Caged Bird Seal.

• Menma was reborn on the night of the Nine-Tails attack, was left at the orphanage by Obito, and met the recovering Mini-Kurama inside himself.
• Menma secretly hunted White Zetsu, then intervened in Hinata’s kidnapping and fought the Hyuga brothers before escaping with the Cloud envoy’s corpse.
• Menma confronted Hizashi with visions of the Hyuga’s future, suppressed his Caged Bird Seal, and urged him to act against the Branch House’s subjugation.
• After Nonō left to seek Kabuto, Menma traveled to the harbor, bound Gato to him, and ordered him to expand his shipping company and gather intelligence.
• Menma claimed the bounty on the Cloud envoy as Asura, defeated Kakuzu, and assigned him to protect Gato’s company and manage its accounts.
• Menma attacked Kumogakure with his summoned fighters, destroyed the village center and Unraikyo, and forced the Raikage to accept Konoha’s ceasefire.
• Gato settled in Konoha and received approval to adopt an orphan, while Hizashi searched the Branch House records and found no evidence disproving Menma’s claims.

Menma defeats Orochimaru’s attempt to control the Iburi Clan and brings them under his protection, then begins building an organization in the western countries. As he courts recruits and bargains with Orochimaru for Sharingan and research, he also uses genjutsu to trap Izumi and continues trying to empower Mini-Kurama.

• Menma leaves the orphanage for Gato’s estate, completes his adoption, and begins training while exploring Konoha with Mini-Kurama.
• Menma rescues Hinata from bullies, while Hiruzen Sarutobi discovers Orochimaru’s secret laboratory and orders his capture.
• Menma confronts Orochimaru, obtains his research scroll, and learns about the experiments on Konoha shinobi and the Iburi Clan.
• Menma exposes Orochimaru’s betrayal to Gota and the Iburi Clan, defeats Orochimaru’s attack, and claims the clan’s service by promising protection.
• Menma returns to Konoha, befriends Naruto at Ichiraku, and watches Hiruzen plan to make Naruto dependent on him.
• Izumi becomes trapped in a repeating massacre illusion involving Itachi and masked ninja, while Menma observes her and considers her useful to his plans.

Menma gathered allies from the Uzumaki and Uchiha clans, seized control of Hoshigakure and the Land of Bears, and clashed with Konoha and other shinobi. The arc ended as Obito and Black Zetsu approached Menma, with Obito claiming to be Uchiha Madara.

• Naruto, Menma, and Hinata went fishing together, while Naruto worried about losing the bond he had gained with Menma.
• Menma rescued Karin and her mother Fuka from Kusagakure, opened a sealed chamber in Uzushio, and awakened Uchiha Hikari, who joined his cause after learning the Uchiha and Uzumaki clans’ fates.
• Menma and Hikari traveled with Fuka and Karin, then took over Hoshigakure and organized reforms under Yahoshi, Kakuzu, and Gato.
• Menma killed the Land of Bears’ daimyo and ordered a purge of its nobles, prompting Konoha to send Shisui, Homon Hyuga, and Hayama Shirakumo to investigate.
• Pakura confronted Menma over the upheaval, while Hikari defeated Shisui’s team, took his Sharingan, and drove the Konoha ninja into retreat.
• Menma brought Pakura to Hoshigakure and ordered Yahoshi to investigate Fire Fly and Natsuhi, while Fuka volunteered to interrogate suspects.
• Hikari marked hundreds of Hoshigakure ninja with imprints, and Menma considered linking them into a chakra network.
• Menma attacked a White Zetsu, and Obito and Black Zetsu emerged, with Obito introducing himself as Uchiha Madara.

Menma strengthened the Land of Bears while pursuing gifted children and confronting Obito and Kirigakure’s forces. After killing two of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen and taking their weapons, he left Kirigakure searching for him as Kisame led a coastal patrol.

• Menma fought Obito and let Uchiha Hikari drive him off, then decided to leave the Eye of the Moon plan undisturbed while he considered reviving Rin.
• Menma organized the Land of Bears’ new capital, cared for Naruto, and launched the Cicada Plan to gather intelligence from Sunagakure and Iwagakure.
• Menma arranged research with Orochimaru, refused to provide Iburi Clan members for human experiments, and rescued Haku from the Land of Water.
• Menma and Orochimaru surveyed Kirigakure as the Kaguya Clan rebelled, and Menma eased Kimimaro’s illness before abducting children and collecting scrolls from the compound.
• Zabuza tried to assassinate Yagura while Kirigakure crushed the Kaguya rebellion, and Menma encountered Obito before three of Kirigakure’s swordsmen ambushed him.
• Menma killed Biwa Juzo and Suikazan Fuguki, took Kubikiribōchō and Samehada, and let Hozuki Mangetsu escape after defeating him.
• Yagura confined Mangetsu and ordered Kisame to patrol the coast after Kimimaro disappeared, while Kisame led six newly promoted ninja south.
