Aside from Nuchimok leaving during this period and quietly leaving behind his disciples and followers while disappearing without a trace himself, there was almost nothing else worth mentioning.

For the disciples and followers entrusted to others, however, it was like being separated from life itself, plunging them into immense unease.

"How could Teacher have possibly thought this through? He actually gave the 'Colossus' to Archmage Roy!"

They had never imagined that coming here to carry out a commission would lead to something like this.

Some with particularly vivid imaginations had even conjured up a grand drama in which an Archmage had used a secret technique to bewitch their teacher, hypnotize him, and take control of him.

They had no idea that Nuchimok had merely been struck and shaken to the core.

They could almost imagine it already: an Archmage who looked like a handsome young man brandishing a little whip, while a shadow covered in tentacles spread out and writhed madly.

It was terrifying just to imagine!

Simulakron and the others had learned the whole story from Nuchimok, including why their teacher and ancestor had done this.

But knowing the reason did not prevent a period of bewilderment and unease.

Fortunately, Roy saw through the situation and understood these suspicions and anxieties very well.

He
