Background / History
The Primordial World was created by Pangu. Luo Xuan compares Pangu's creation of the world to refining an immense elixir at the cost of his own being. Its Origin began to be consumed during ancient calamities, and repeated disasters further depleted its foundation. According to Pangu's Remnant Soul, a calamity consumes the world's Origin to strengthen its beings, while the Heavenly Dao does not manifest during such periods. 103 109
The prolonged conflict between the Witch Clan and Demon Race worsened conditions across the land. Luo Xuan observes desolate territories and predation by demonized spirits after the Heavenly Court withdrew from the land, concluding that the world's foundation was being exhausted more quickly. 36 54
Luo Xuan's alchemy became a major source of restoration. His pills revived the world's Origin and enabled cultivators stalled at bottlenecks to make breakthroughs.
