If You Want to Kill Him, Kill Me First! / The Guardian Angel and the Queen Beyond the World
But it was not that his "right hand" was weak. Rather, the man named Roy was too weak. He could not fully control the power of his right hand, and was therefore subject to numerous restrictions. Before he gathered enough "victory" factors, he could not use the hand's true power at all.
Would Scathach give him that chance? Roy deeply doubted it.
"I have already witnessed your strength and courage. Next, let me see your will! Be careful. This is the desire of a woman who has been lonely for thousands of years. If you cannot satisfy me with your will, you will remain here forever as a wraith! This is the Shadow Land, the kingdom of the dead!"
Scathach's words were ambiguous and erotic, yet she brimmed with battle spirit. Her breathtaking face, with only half of it visible beneath the mask, held an ecstatic fervor that made Roy suspect this woman was actually an extreme sadist.
But she gave Roy no time to think further. Terrifying killing intent descended once more. The Queen regarded the space between them as nonexistent, and the crimson spear once again transformed into the fangs of a beast of slaughter.
She truly deserved to be called a being who could slay gods through martial skill alone, a monster capable of making the gods fear and curse her with her own strength. Scathach's understanding of martial arts had already surpassed Roy's imagination. Though she possessed enough power to effortlessly flatten mountains and sweep the land clean, not the slightest trace of the force she controlled leaked out during her fight with Roy. The two spears in her hands seemed to be engaged in an ordinary spar with him. Not even the surrounding environment was damaged, and Roy could not even feel the wind moving.
