New Discovery (2)
After parting ways with Hertok, Albert and Isobel went to the Three Broomsticks. Since they were already in Hogsmeade, how could they miss having a drink at the Three Broomsticks? The pub was noisy and crowded, but also very warm, with Incendio fire in the fireplace.
Albert inadvertently glanced at Fred, George, and Lee Jordan sitting in the corner drinking, whispering among themselves, seemingly unaware of him and Isobel.
Albert found an empty seat and went to the counter to ask Ms. Rosmerta for two Butterbeer. Although it was a bar, it didn't serve alcoholic beverages other than Butterbeer to minors.
Albert thought that the bar could sell some low-alcohol sweet wines, which would definitely be popular with the girls. As everyone knows, girls earn far more Galleon than boys.
However, most sweet wines in Europe are grape wines, and Ms. Rosmerta obviously wouldn't sell grape wine to students.
Speaking of sweet wine, Albert is reminded of the Glutinous Rice Wine from his past life. It was one of the few wines he liked. It tasted like a beverage, but it was difficult to store.
"What are you thinking about?"
Isobel noticed that Albert was distracted while they were talking, and raised an eyebrow slightly to ask him a question.
"There's a very good sweet wine among Muggle; perhaps we could have the House-elf try brewing some," Albert suddenly said.
Anyway, the House-elf don't really have much to do in the manor, so giving them something to do can better motivate them. He also believes that the House-elf would be happy to learn another skill.
"Sweet wine, is it good?" Isobel was very interested in the sweet wine that Albert mentioned.
"Hmm, it's kind of like a drink, you'll like it." Albert had already figured out how to make the sticky rice, and he believed that Mundungus would probably be happy to help him get it.
After finishing their drinks, the two strolled around Hogsmeade, bought Nia a birthday present, and then returned to Hogwarts Castle.
Before parting, Albert reminded him, "Something might happen in the castle today, so remember not to wander off."
"I know, you be careful too."
Isobel felt strange, but she didn't intend to run around. Albert must have had a reason for saying that; perhaps he had Prophecy something.
If he were Gryffindor student, hearing him say that, he would probably already be itching to do something reckless and court disaster.
Just as they returned to the Common Room, Fred, George, and Lee Jordan appeared out of nowhere.
"It failed!"
Fred got straight to the point. "However, Mr. Zonko is very interested in Wizard Card and seems to be interested in cooperating with us."
"That's a real shame." Albert showed absolutely no interest in this unequal partnership.
"You seem to have guessed it a long time ago?" George raised an eyebrow, looking at Albert with a hint of annoyance.
When they went to Zonko, they were completely ignored; the guy was extremely arrogant in some ways.
At least, all three of them thought so.
"If you don't have money, who will help you?" Albert rolled his eyes at Lee Jordan, making no attempt to hide this fact.
Most people are driven by self-interest, not to mention that Zonko is a businessman himself. It would be strange if he would pay attention to a few people if they asked him for advice without offering any benefits.
"Alright, don't worry about it," Albert said with a smile. "Zonko wouldn't want a similar shop competing with him, so it's normal that he doesn't like you. If your shop becomes popular in the future, his shop might have to go out of business."
"So that's how it is."
The three were still a little depressed, feeling that things would be better if Albert had gone.
"Alright, cheer up. We're going to Halloween Party soon, and there's supposed to be a Skeleton Dance Troupe, right?" Albert pulled candy out of his pocket and stuffed it into their hands.
The Halloween Feast was starting at seven o'clock, Albert planned to take a moment to write a letter to the thief Mundungus.
Of course, Albert didn't expect Mundungus to find the right thing on the first try, but with enough Galleon, he believed the Mr. Thief would be willing to help.
After all, money can make the devil turn the millstone, let alone get someone to help find something. So, before seven o'clock, Albert and his roommate went straight to the Great Hall. On the way, they encountered Harry Potter and his trio. They left the crowd and headed towards the underground classroom.
Where are they going?
Lee Jordan watched the three figures disappear into the distance and asked in confusion.
"Of course we're going to the ghost banquet." Albert ignored Harry and the others and headed straight for the crowded Great Hall.
A giant pumpkin lantern sat in one corner of the Great Hall, and a large swarm of bats Accio around the enchanted ceiling. The most eye-catching feature was probably the stage in front, where a large area had been cleared out, and a hazy mist obscured everyone's view. Many people were looking in that direction, knowing that the Skeleton Dance Troupe was behind the mist.
Soon after, the banquet began with a performance by the Skeleton Dance Troupe, hosted by Dumbledore, to thunderous applause from the audience.
Albert looked up at the stage and saw a bunch of musical instruments on it. A wizard dressed in heavy metal style began to speak to set the mood, and a large group of students surrounded him like a group of enthusiastic fans.
As expected, it was heavy metal music, the sound echoing in Albert's ears. Unfortunately, he just didn't have any appreciation for it. While everyone was shouting wildly, he slowly cut his steak and stuffed it into his mouth.
"I really don't know why they're so famous," Shanna muttered to herself. She was Gryffindor students who didn't go up to watch.
"It must be the magic of the music!" Albert glanced at the parchment in his hand. Ginny Weasley had disappeared from the map and had obviously entered the Chamber of Secrets.
"You believe that?" Shanna looked at Albert with a strange expression.
The performance lasted for more than fifteen minutes. The Skeleton Dance Troupe sang three songs for the students before leaving the stage amidst their reluctant gazes.
Everyone else returned to their seats to enjoy the exquisite banquet.
Perhaps because the Skeleton Dance Troupe had attracted everyone's attention, no one noticed that the Savior Potter had disappeared.
The dinner was exquisite, and after Albert had eaten his fill, he began to ponder a question.
The Basilisk incident happened without a single death from beginning to end. Was it an accident or intentional? Did Tom Riddle really not know? Many things just can't stand scrutiny! So many coincidences coming together can't really be considered coincidences anymore.
Moreover, Albert suspected that Tom Riddle must also know the Traces Charm; otherwise, how could he accurately attack his target without being detected by others? "Damn it."
Thinking about this made Albert feel uneasy. He felt he needed to master the advanced Shield Charm as soon as possible so that he could disappear directly from the map of the Traces Charm. Only in this way could he ensure that he would not be targeted.
If he uses a high-level Shield Charm to conceal his existence, the owls will have a hard time finding him. However, he has many owl letters, and he cannot give up contact with others because of this. He must think of another way.
