Attack Incident
Finally, it's about to begin!
Continue Salazar Slytherin's noble cause of "Purify the School".
Tom Riddle, through Ginny Weasley's eyes, watched the slowly opening entrance to the Chamber of Secrets ahead, feeling an immense sense of joy.
Fifty years ago, a minor accident nearly caused Hogwarts to close.
At that time, Tom realized that he couldn't kill all the Mudblood who came to Hogwarts. He should make an example of them to deter the foolish Mudblood from ever coming to school again, so that he could better accomplish the noble task of "Purify the School".
That genius Mudblood was Tom's best target, but unfortunately Albert Anderson was currently in the Great Hall for Halloween Party, and he couldn't let Basilisk Basilisk break into the Great Hall and expose it to everyone's view. The fear of the unknown is what truly inspires awe.
Tom knew very well that once the Basilisk was exposed, Dumbledore would definitely search the entire school. Although the Hogwarts professors had done so fifty years ago, Tom knew he had better not take the risk; he never underestimated Dumbledore's abilities.
Enter the Chamber of Secrets through the pipes, use Parseltongue to open the secret door left by Slytherin, awaken the Basilisk living in the statue, and let it come out through the pipes from the entrance of the Girls' Washroom on the second floor.
Tom had done this many times before; he had let the Basilisk roam the castle more than once, causing one mysterious attack after another.
Of course, this is not easy.
The Mudblood who died years ago is now wandering around the Girls' Washroom on the second floor as a ghost, making it very inconvenient for Tom to enter the Chamber of Secrets. Moreover, it is not easy to let the Basilisk wander around the castle without being discovered by others.
Tom examined the map on the second floor of the castle, intending to first choose a target as the "chicken" for the warning monkey and spread the legend of the Chamber of Secrets.
A footprint with a name appeared near the washroom; it was a cat. With no better option, Tom sent the Basilisk away from the washroom and easily killed the cat with its eyes.
"Let's go back!"
Tom looked at the cat lying on the ground, let the Basilisk return to the Chamber of Secrets, and then bent down to pick up the cat from the water puddle, walking towards the end of the corridor. He planned to hang it in a prominent place and leave a note announcing the return of the Slytherin.
Tom took out Ginny's wand and used a spell to spray paint onto the wall, making the writing Winky so it wouldn't be easily overlooked. To prevent the writing from being magically removed, Tom even cast a spell on it.
After doing all this, Tom had Ginny Weasley clean some of the paint off his robe before returning to the Common Room.
However, Tom, who believed he had everything under control, was unaware that someone already knew his secret.
That's right, it's Albert Anderson, the one Tom wanted to use as a police monkey.
Even if Tom racked his brains, he couldn't have imagined that there would be such a strange creature as a time traveler.
Albert, who had just finished his Halloween Party, sat lazily in his chair. After eating and drinking his fill, he felt a little sleepy.
Of course, Albert wasn't in a hurry to go back to his dorm, because he knew that everyone would soon discover the victim of the Chamber of Secrets mystery.
As the crowd passed the corner of the second-floor corridor, they suddenly fell silent, starting from the very front, as if a cold front had spread through the corridor.
The students crowded around the front corner, seemingly looking at something.
"Something seems to have happened."
Lee Jordan watched the students pushing forward and muttered to himself.
Just then, someone suddenly shouted, "Those who oppose the heir, beware! You're next, Mudblood!"
"What's going on here? What's going on?" The crowd in the corridor quickly caught Filch's attention. He pushed his way through the crowd, shouting, "Don't all crowd here, make way..."
Suddenly, Filch's shrill voice rang out from ahead. "My cat! My cat! Mrs. Norris, what's wrong? Don't scare me!"
"They really enjoy watching the show!" Albert, too lazy to squeeze in with the others, shook his head as he looked at the crowded people ahead and Filch's screams.
"Something seems to have happened," Shanna said.
"What's going on here?" Percy asked, looking at the crowded people ahead. "Why are you all crammed together here?"
"It seems something happened to Mr. Filch's cat. I think you should go and ask Professor Dumbledore for help as soon as possible!" Albert suggested.
"You go."
"No, I'm too lazy to walk." Albert reached up to cover his yawn.
"Never mind, I'll go myself." Percy looked at the languid Albert and jogged away. It was clear that he had eaten a lot. When he arrived, Dumbledore had just left the Great Hall. Hearing Percy say that there had been trouble at the corner of the second-floor corridor, he came straight over. The other professors followed him, so Albert soon saw Dumbledore leading a group of professors.
A few minutes later, the crowd dispersed, and it was reported that Filch's cat had died, and Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger, as suspects, were taken away by the headmaster for questioning.
As Albert and Shanna walked over, they also saw the Winky writing at the bottom of the wall:
The Chamber of Secrets has been opened.
Be wary of those who oppose your heir.
"What does this mean?" Shanna asked, frowning slightly, after softly reading the words on the wall.
"The Legend of the Chamber of Secrets," Albert said softly. "It seems we need to be careful."
"Be careful of what?" Shanna stared at Albert. "Do you know something?"
"Let's go back to the Common Room first; this isn't the place to talk." Albert quickened his pace. When they passed through the passage behind the portrait and entered the Common Room, it was already packed with people, all discussing Mrs. Norris's attack.
"Filch believes Harry attacked his cat," Lee Jordan briefly stated the information he had gathered.
"After all, the three of them were there at the time, so it's not surprising that they were suspected."
"You still haven't told me what the legend of the Chamber of Secrets is all about?" Shanna urged, her words drawing the attention of many people.
"It's recorded in ' Hogwarts: Hogwarts, A History '," Albert said, in a good mood. He had just received a new panel quest and was explaining the legend of the Chamber of Secrets of Secrets to them. "Legend has it that Slytherin built a secret room in the castle, unknown to the other founders. When Slytherin left the school, he sealed the Chamber of Secrets. Only the true heir can open the Chamber of Secrets and release the terrifying thing inside to Purify the School and eliminate all those unworthy to learn magic."
"Something terrifying?"
"It probably refers to the monsters kept by Slytherin."
"So that monster has lived for a thousand years?" Everyone thought it was an exaggeration; they had never heard of anything that Sickle live for a thousand years.
"Does it mean to purge all those unworthy of learning magic?"
"Those who are not worthy of learning magic probably refer to us wizards from the Muggle World," Albert suddenly said to Fred, George, and Lee Jordan. "From now on, I will rely on you to protect me. I guess the monsters will not attack easily if there are other people around."
"Don't worry, we'll protect you," the Twins assured him, patting their chests. Lee Jordan, standing nearby, couldn't help but roll his eyes.
