Prelude to the Chitauri Invasion
Tony Stark, while handling the situation, casually remarked, "Have some confidence, Jarvis..."
Jarvis had no choice but to do as he was told.
A moment later, a familiar scene unfolded.
"Sir, this is your phone."
"My program has been modified."
Upon hearing that familiar voice, Tony Stark slapped his forehead, realizing that Jarvis's defense system was not perfect enough, allowing it to be hacked by S.H.I.E.L.D. time and time again.
Is it that Jarvis got an upgrade, or that those guys were just too good?
"Yes, Stark, we need to talk," Agent Coulson's voice came through.
"Get to the point quickly," Tony Stark, Iron Man, said helplessly.

While Agent Coulson and Tony were talking, Su Yao circulated his internal Light Energy and then stopped what he was doing.
"Looks like it's time to head to downtown New York," Su Yao thought, stroking his chin.
The Chitauri invasion will naturally take place in New York. If nothing unexpected happens, Loki will soon open Space Channel on the roof of Stark Tower using the Cosmic Cube to welcome the Chitauri army.
"Stark Tower should be in the city center..." Su Yao pondered, thinking it should be easy to find, after all, the building's appearance was very eye-catching.
As he was thinking, a sonic boom rang out, and he disappeared from the spot, heading towards downtown New York.
During the journey, after a moment's thought, Su Yao decided he should change his clothes.
He spent some time changing into a new set of clothes, all in white.
This time, he plans to appear as the White-Clothed Hero, or perhaps the White-Clothed Strange Man Eccentric.
Of course, Su Yao himself didn't plan to do anything. If nothing unexpected happened and Kaecilius and his group were able to obtain the Cosmic Cube and the Mind Scepter, he wouldn't bother to show himself.
However, if something unexpected happens and Kaecilius and his group fail to obtain these two items, then he will have no choice but to take action.
He didn't want all the plans he'd spent so much time on to go to waste.
"This shouldn't be too difficult, right?" Su Yao thought, stroking his chin.
This Chitauri invasion didn't involve any particularly troublesome figures; it was merely a probing attack by Thanos. Obtaining those two items shouldn't be too difficult.
Even using only the identity and power of the White-Clothed Hero is enough to handle it.
Moreover, the power of his Chaos Magic is now enhanced by the power of the Light Divine Power, making it much stronger than before.
Su Yao speculated that with his current Chaos Magic, he should be able to tear Thanos apart in his normal state, that is, Thanos without the Infinity Stones.
Thinking about it, Su Yao glanced at the Light Divine Power that was just a little short of experience points before it leveled up, and sighed.
"I wonder if the Light Divine Power will be able to upgrade when this happens..."
Moreover, his identity as the White-Clothed Hero allows him to better utilize the Light Divine Power, the power of Balder's identity God of Light.
While he was on his way, Loki and his crew were also on their way.
Dr. Selvig directed a group of researchers to work on the equipment that could activate the energy of the Cosmic Cube.
At that moment, Loki was sitting alone in a dark corner when the gem on his Mind Scepter emitted a white light, indicating that someone had contacted him through the Mind Scepter.
As the gem on the Mind Scepter emitted a white light, a vision appeared in his mind.
A mysterious figure dressed in strange attire appeared, accompanied by a hoarse voice.
"The Chitauri are starting to stir. Loki, how are your preparations going?"
Loki replied, "Let them prepare themselves. I will lead them in a glorious war."
The Chitauri Commander strolled slowly, saying disdainfully, "War, against those weak Earthlings, Loki, I hope you won't disappoint me."
Loki looked at him. "As long as your army is as powerful as you say."
"Are you questioning us?" the Chitauri Commander demanded. "Questioning the ones who placed the scepter in your hands, bestowing upon you ancient knowledge and new ideals?"
"Loki, you need to understand that you were defeated back then, and we were the ones who took you in."
"Shut up!" Loki glared at him fiercely. "I am the king of a nation, the absolute ruler of Asgard. If I hadn't been betrayed..."
He was clearly referring to Heimdall and the Warriors Three.
If it weren't for their interference, he would have been the only god-king of Asgard!
Loki thought to himself, quite indignantly.
Upon hearing this, the Chitauri Commander commented, "Your ambitions are insignificant and childish. We Chitauri have eyes not only on Earth. With the Cosmic Cube, a much wider world will unfold before our eyes."
Hearing his boastful words, Loki couldn't help but interrupt, "You haven't obtained the Cosmic Cube yet."
Enraged, the Chitauri Commander rushed up to Loki, looking like he wanted to kill him.
Loki didn't care, knowing that everything before him was just an illusion in his mind, and said disdainfully, "I'm not threatening you. Until I open the door and take command of your army, your words are just empty talk."
Knowing they couldn't do anything to him, the Chitauri Commander said threateningly, "Go fight your war, Asgardian."
"But if you fail, Cosmic Cube is not yet in our hands, then you can forget about your kingdom, and there won't be a place for you to live."
"No matter where you hide, he will find you. He will make you scream in agony and show you what true, unbearable pain really is!"
"No one can protect you, and no one can fight against him. You can't escape!"
Clearly, if Loki fails to deliver the Cosmic Cube to them, the promise of cooperation made to Loki and his promise to help him become the King of Asgard will be void.
Even more so, he could kill Loki! And the "he" the Chitauri Commander was referring to was naturally Thanos, whose power and influence Loki was well aware of.
After speaking, the Chitauri Commander ended the communication, and Loki regained consciousness and returned to reality.
However, his expression was rather unpleasant at this moment, clearly influenced by the Chitauri Commander's last words.
At this moment, he didn't even know if his choice was right, and he felt a little regretful.
However, there was no turning back once the arrow was released, so he had no choice but to continue.
At this moment, Loki couldn't help but think of that fool Thor, wondering if that guy would show up and get in the way.
An hour later, in a New York square.
Loki, clad in armor and wielding a scepter, appeared here. The pedestrians panicked, screaming and trying to escape, but Loki blocked their way.
From his high vantage point, Loki shouted at the crowd, "Kneel down, all of you!"
Seeing the chaotic scene of the crowd, none of them showing any sign of kneeling, Loki roared, "Kneel down!"
As soon as the words were spoken, out of fear, one by one, the pedestrians knelt on the ground, led by someone unknown.
"Isn't that simple?"
Loki smiled.
While he was coercing the crowd, a group of monks dressed in yellow robes were secretly observing from a distant corner.
Not only mages like Kaecilius, but also Su Yao, dressed in white and exuding an air of mystery, was observing all of this from a tall building further away.
