Ch. 26Nuwa and Fuxi Join the Demon Clan

Di Jun and Taiyi visited Nuwa and Fuxi at Phoenix Nest Mountain to recruit them into their plan to establish the Demon Clan and oppose the Witch Clan. Nuwa and Fuxi agreed to join after learning that Di Jun and Taiyi had secured the Heavenly Court as their foundation, and the four set a ceremony for a thousand years later.

  • Di Jun and Taiyi argued that the Witch Clan’s growing power threatened the other living beings of the Primordial Wilderness and proposed uniting them as the Demon Clan.
  • Di Jun offered Nuwa the title of Empress Nuwa and Fuxi the title of Emperor Xi, promising them equal standing with him and Taiyi and a share of the Demon Clan’s authority and Destiny and Fortune.
  • After Fuxi perceived both opportunity and danger in the Heavenly Secrets, he signaled Nuwa, and they agreed to join the Demon Clan.
  • Di Jun revealed that he and Taiyi had discovered the Heavenly Court in the Thirty-Third Heaven atop Buzhou Mountain and would use it as the Demon Clan’s foundation.
  • The four agreed to announce the Demon Clan’s establishment from the Heavenly Court in a thousand years, and Di Jun and Taiyi departed to prepare.

Ch. 27Demon Clan Establishment

Di Jun and Taiyi established the Demon Clan in the Heavenly Court, receiving more merit than the Witch Clan and drawing the powerful figures’ attention. At the banquet, Taiyi provoked the Witch Clan over jointly governing the Primordial Wilderness, but Wu Ming rejected the rivalry without escalating the dispute.

  • Powerful figures from across the Primordial Wilderness, including the Three Pure Ones, Zhen Yuanzi, Hong Yun, Minghe, Jieyin, and Zhunti, arrived to witness the ceremony.
  • Wu Ming led the Twelve Ancestral Witches into the Heavenly Court, where they joined the assembled guests and met Di Jun, Taiyi, Nuwa, and Fuxi.
  • Di Jun declared the Demon Clan established and pledged to create order, rule over living beings, and hold authority in the Heavenly Court.
  • The Heavenly Dao granted the Demon Clan more merit than the Witch Clan had received, strengthening its leaders and stirring resentment among the Ancestral Witches.
  • At the banquet, Taiyi claimed the Witch Clan and Demon Clan would jointly govern the Primordial Wilderness, prompting Zhurong and Gonggong to challenge him.
  • Wu Ming calmed Zhurong and told Di Jun that the Witch Clan would fulfill its oath rather than seek joint rule; Hong Yun and Zhen Yuanzi then urged everyone to keep the peace.

Ch. 28I, the Witch Clan, Will Never Contend for Hegemony

Wu Ming led the Twelve Ancestor Witches away from the Heaven Court and urged them to avoid a premature conflict with the Demon Clan. He persuaded them to focus on fulfilling their oath, accumulating merit, and pursuing the Witch Clan’s own path to proving the Dao.

  • Di Jun sent Taiyi to organize the Heaven Court and spread the Demon Clan’s banners throughout the stars within a thousand years.
  • As they returned toward Buzhou Mountain, Zhurong, Gonggong, and the other Ancestral Witches complained that the Demon Clan had received more merit.
  • Wu Ming argued that confronting Taiyi would accomplish nothing and told the Ancestral Witches to clear baleful qi, repair ley lines, and strengthen their clan.
  • Wu Ming pointed out that East Prince Gong could become another opponent for the Demon Clan, then explained that the Witch Clan should not seek hegemony.
  • Wu Ming cited the Dragon-Phoenix-Qilin Calamity and Hongjun’s path as warnings about karma, and said the Witch Clan should pursue proving the Dao by law and force.
  • The Ancestral Witches accepted Wu Ming’s advice, and he ordered them to restrain their clansmen and work harder to accumulate merit.

Ch. 29The Age of Quasi-Saints Arrives

East Prince Gong established the Immortal Court, but gained little merit and became a laughingstock, driving powerful experts across the Primordial World to pursue breakthroughs. A thousand years later, many prominent figures became Quasi-Saints, while Dijiang, Zhujiuyin, and Houtu broke through to the Primordial Golden Immortal realm.

  • East Prince Gong established the Immortal Court at Penglai after West Queen Mother refused to join him, but Heaven granted him only meager merit.

Ch. 30Hong Yun's Opportunity Arrives

Hong Yun sensed the opportunity Wu Ming had foretold and brought him and Zhen Yuanzi to Buzhou Mountain, where the Three Pure Ones, Nuwa, Di Jun, and Taiyi had also gathered. The Innate Grand Array opened to reveal the Innate Gourd Vine and its seven gourds, leaving the powerful figures poised to claim them.

  • Hong Yun sensed an opportunity at Buzhou Mountain and told Zhen Yuanzi that Wu Ming had asked him to report it.
  • Hong Yun and Zhen Yuanzi went to Pangu Hall, where Wu Ming said an Innate Spiritual Root bearing several gourds held something important for the Witch Clan.
  • Wu Ming left Dijiang, Zhujiuyin, and Houtu to manage the Witch Clan and traveled with Hong Yun and Zhen Yuanzi to a mist-covered valley on Buzhou Mountain.
  • Taiqing, Yuanshi, Tongtian, and Nuwa emerged from the valley, followed by Di Jun and Taiyi, and gathered with Wu Ming and the others before the array.
  • The Innate Grand Array dissipated, revealing the Innate Gourd Vine with seven gourds hanging from its branches.

Ch. 31The Innate Gourd Vine Emerges

The gathered cultivators claimed six mature gourds from the Innate Gourd Vine, leaving an immature Blue Gourd and the vine for Wu Ming. After Taiyi challenged his claim and was out-argued by Wu Ming, Wu Ming took both treasures and departed for Buzhou Mountain.

  • Taiqing, Yuanshi, Tongtian, Nuwa, Hong Yun, and Taiyi each claimed one of the six mature gourds.
  • Wu Ming announced that the Witch Clan would take the immature Blue Gourd and the Innate Gourd Vine, and the others tacitly accepted.
  • Taiyi challenged Wu Ming's claim, so Wu Ming offered to trade the Blue Gourd and vine for Taiyi's Yellow Gourd; Taiyi refused.
  • Di Jun persuaded Taiyi to stand down, and Wu Ming stored the Blue Gourd and the entire Gourd Vine in his palm.
  • The Three Pure Ones, Nuwa, Di Jun, and Taiyi departed, followed by Hong Yun and Zhen Yuanzi; Wu Ming then flew toward Buzhou Mountain.

Ch. 32Third Preaching, Accepting Disciples

Wu Ming and the Twelve Ancestor Witches attended Hongjun’s final preaching, where he explained the Way of Sages and took six disciples. Ch. 33Honkai Unify with Dao

Hongjun bestowed the final strand of Hongmeng Purple Qi on Hong Yun, provoking Kunpeng’s murderous hatred, then distributed treasures to his disciples and announced that he would Unify with Dao. The mighty figures left Zixiao Palace to seek treasures at the Treasure Distribution Rock as Hongjun disappeared.

  • After Jieyin and Zhunti received Hongmeng Purple Qi, the crowd begged Hongjun for a strand, and he sent the final one circling through Zixiao Palace.
  • The final strand entered Hong Yun, while Kunpeng blamed him for taking both the cushion and his chance at the Dao and vowed to fight him to the death.
  • Hongjun gave Taiqing the Taiji Diagram, Yuanshi the Pangu Banner, Tongtian the Four Swords of Zhu Xian and their formation diagram, and Nuwa three treasures.
  • At Jieyin and Zhunti’s pleading, Hongjun gave them the Twelve-grade Golden Lotus of Merit, the Green Lotus Precious Banner, and the Blessing Divine Pestle.
  • Hongjun told the remaining attendees to take treasures from the Treasure Distribution Rock, declared that he would Unify with Dao, and vanished from Zixiao Palace.

Ch. 34Trading for the Sea Calming Divine Beads

After Hongjun's lecture, Wu Ming led the Ancestral Witches to Treasure Distribution Rock, where he claimed the cliff itself and exchanged a Top-grade Innate Spiritual Treasure with Tongtian for the Twenty-Four Dinghai Divine Pearls for Dijiang. Before returning to Buzhou Mountain, Wu Ming invited Hong Yun to visit him if he made up his mind.

  • Wu Ming told Dijiang to reach Treasure Distribution Rock first and obtain the Twenty-Four Dinghai Divine Pearls, but Dijiang found only a few ordinary treasures there.
  • The Three Pure Ones, Nuwa, Jieyin, and Zhunti collected many treasures, while most others and the Ancestral Witches received few or none.
  • Wu Ming uprooted Treasure Distribution Rock and claimed it for the Witch Clan, prompting the other powers to leave without challenging him.
  • Wu Ming offered Tongtian a Top-grade Innate Spiritual Treasure in exchange for the Twenty-Four Dinghai Divine Pearls, which Tongtian handed over for Dijiang.
  • Wu Ming told Hong Yun to visit him at Pangu Hall on Buzhou Mountain if he made up his mind, then led the Ancestral Witches back to Buzhou Mountain.

Ch. 36Hong Yun's Choice

  • Hong Yun weighed the value of the Hongmeng Purple Qi against his grudge with Kunpeng and the promise he had made to Wu Ming and Zhen Yuanzi.
  • Hong Yun resolved to give Kunpeng the Hongmeng Purple Qi so he could settle the Karma and keep his word.
  • Zhen Yuanzi warned that Kunpeng might not appreciate the gift or end his pursuit, but Hong Yun said he only wanted to put his heart at ease.
  • Zhen Yuanzi agreed to accompany Hong Yun, and the two left Wuzhuang Temple for Buzhou Mountain to find Wu Ming.

  • Hong Yun told Kunpeng he would give him the Hongmeng Purple Qi, but could not make it leave his body despite trying to summon it.

Ch. 39Peng: That Was Rash—I Shouldn't Have Joined the Heavenly Court So Early

Hong Yun gave Kunpeng the Hongmeng Purple Qi to settle their Karma, then left with Wu Ming and Zhen Yuanzi. Kunpeng fled toward North Nether to escape Di Jun and Taiyi, but Di Jun believed the Heavenly Court’s ties to Kunpeng would prevent him from escaping with the treasure.

  • Hong Yun swore an oath witnessed by Heaven and Earth and handed the Hongmeng Purple Qi to Kunpeng, settling their grudge.
