Background / History

Fuxi and his younger sister Nuwa founded Heavenly Demon City to protect the beings of a region of the Central Continent. Unlike competing powers, the city was not created to seek supremacy; its high-level cultivators were drawn to the siblings' compassion. 102 128

As conflict among the Immortal Court, Demon Country, and Palace of the Demon Master intensified, Fuxi concluded that a prolonged struggle for control of the Great Desolation would cause immense suffering. He resolved to support whichever contender could unify the realm most quickly, even at the risk of becoming entangled in the coming tribulation. 102 103

He eventually incorporated Heavenly Demon City into Di Jun's Demon Country, securing posts for its people. Di Jun granted Fuxi the rank of Xi Huang, equal in standing to Di Jun and Eastern Emperor Tai Yi. 128 133

Following the Tribulation of Witch and Monster, Fuxi's true spirit survived under Nuwa's protection. The Saints proposed reincarnating him into the Human Race as the first of the Three Sovereigns, and Nuwa later entrusted his true spirit to Ping Xin for reincarnation. 373 377

He was reborn to Huaxu of the Feng Clan after a twelve-year pregnancy, immediately taking the form of a perceptive ten-year-old boy. The Feng Clan recognized him as its young clan leader, while Xuandu taught him on Laozi's behalf. 381 382

Fuxi is compassionate and duty-driven. His decision to intervene in the Great Desolation's power struggle stems from his belief that ordinary beings should not bear the cost of a prolonged war for supremacy. He is willing to risk himself so long as Nuwa remains safe. 102 103

He is also politically pragmatic and strategically minded. He chose Di Jun as the candidate most likely to rapidly unify the Great Desolation, assisted in developing the Demon Country's decisive formation, and later sought alliances against the Wu Clan. 129 165 208

As Human Emperor, Fuxi is innovative, generous with useful knowledge, and deeply conscientious about the Human Race's welfare. Even after recovering his former identity and memories, he accepts that he cannot abandon the people dependent on him. 389 392

Fuxi establishes Heavenly Demon City with Nuwa as a sanctuary rather than a power-seeking faction. Faced with an approaching great tribulation, he chooses to intervene by aiding a force capable of ending the conflict quickly. 102 103 128

Fuxi fights Hu Niu during the war between the Demon Country and Immortal Court. He primarily defends with the Fuxi Qin, but Hu Niu uses the Kunlun Mirror to traverse space and injure him. 160 161

Fuxi supports Shennong's rise, then abdicates after sixty-four years as Human Emperor. Merit raises his cultivation beyond peak Quasi-Saint, and he becomes the Heavenly Emperor of the Human Race. 396 398
