Background

Reincarnation and sewer survival

Lu Minghao is an Otherworlder who reincarnated as a Slime. He begins in an Eastern Empire sewer, where his initial survival strategy is to consume anything available—including iron, rocks, bones, monsters, and other Slimes—to feed [Gluttony] and accelerate his evolution. 2 3 205

His first offensive ability is Poison, obtained from Poisonous Mushrooms. After becoming a Lower Demon, he hunts Giant Rats and treats the sewer as a source of nourishment until its population can no longer sustain his growth. 4 10 15

The Eastern Empire’s Monster Legion later targets him for capture. Lu escapes Number Four and the pursuing forces through the underground water vein, forming a lasting hostility toward the Empire and a determination to become powerful enough that no stronger being can dictate his fate. 19 20

Sally and the first vassal bond

After emerging near a human village, Lu Minghao is saved by Sally, a half-Ghost Tribe girl who names him “Sally’s Slime,” shares her food, and gives him a home. Her kindness causes him to spare the village despite initially considering poisoning and erasing it. 23 26 28

He later grants Sally the Power of Gluttony, making her his first subordinate. Their connection becomes the foundation of his vassal system: Sally gains immense strength and an awakened Ghost Tribe bloodline, while remaining fiercely devoted to him. 51 83 146

Realm of Gluttony

To gather nutrients and souls for his awakening, Lu Minghao spreads the Original Sin of Gluttony through the Western Nations. He creates Gluttony Monsters, converts surviving monsters into controlled dependents, and develops the Realm of Gluttony into his power base. 103 112 146

Though he treats many enemies and corrupted beings as tools, nourishment, or disposable forces, he also permits Angelica to preserve populations that can retain their identity under Gluttony’s erosion. 180 194

Multiversal expansion

After learning that [Encounter from Another World] allows him to travel between worlds, Lu Minghao begins using world origin as both a resource and a route to further evolution. 205

In the Bone King World, he awakens [Lust], establishes control over the Eight Fingers, corrupts and reshapes portions of the world, and wages indirect conflict with Ainz Ooal Gown and the Dragon Lords. 219 226 277

Appearance

Lu Minghao’s natural body is a shape-shifting Slime, though its color and texture change with his evolution. He can also mimic a youthful human form and freely alter his body into limbs, mouths, weapons, or other structures. 10 145 177

He is patient, deceptive, and highly strategic. He prefers ambushes, hidden clones, false identities, engineered conflicts, and manipulation over fair confrontations. His morality is selective rather than absent. Lu Minghao can be merciless toward enemies, turning them into food, experiments, or vassals, yet he shows genuine care toward Sally, Loina, and several other followers. He repeatedly calls himself a “kind Slime,” even while redefining mercy as allowing enemies to become part of him. 112 187 201

He is also proud of his rapid growth and enjoys testing himself against powerful opponents. His battle with Milim confirms both his confidence and his awareness that he must continue growing. 207 208 209
