Everything stemmed from energy.
Perpetua had already realized what Batman Dragon had done. Black Death Emperor had absorbed the power of fifty-two parallel universes, and now nothing remained. The DC Multiverse had already begun to enter its death throes.
But it was not true death.
What a joke. The DC Multiverse was nowhere near the end of its life. Normally, no matter what happened, these parallel universes could not simply fall into death like this. Batman Dragon must have used some method to drive the Empty Hand into working for him. But how could the other party truly act according to Batman Dragon's wishes? Based on her previous deductions about the Empty Hand, it should have... Forget it. There was no point thinking about this now.
The deaths of most of the people had strengthened Black Death Emperor's power to a certain extent. Originally, Black Death Emperor had merely been a god hiding outside the material universe, with no chance of entering the Prime Universe in his true form for his entire life. But now, nearly fifty-two parallel universes had become part of his domain of death.
To be honest, Perpetua herself knew that she would soon see a fully restored Black Death Emperor emerge. And this avatar of the domain of death, driven by instinct, would certainly try to drag Perpetua into death as well.
How the hell had things ended up like this? If only she had a little more time...
The Total Aggregate. Damn it, where was the Total Aggregate?
Perpetua seethed with rage.
As long as she retrieved the Total Aggregate, she could restore her full power. The Batman Dragon before her, or even the likes of Black Death Emperor, would no longer pose any threat to her. Yet she simply could not find that thing.
