No one could simply stand by and watch such a thing happen. The Justice League had already begun taking action. They entered the Flashpoint Universe to stop the enemy. The helmet created by Martian Manhunter and Luther could help them resist this new Brainiac's control, but clearly, Lex Luthor had other plans besides that.

The Brainiac invading this time was far more powerful than the one that had once invaded Earth. That was precisely why Luther had discovered that while dragging away the Flashpoint world, Brainiac was also continuously absorbing the mental power of every living being within it.
