In the original history of the Over-Time Stream, the outcome of the Final Crisis: Three Worlds was that Prime Universe Superman defeated Time Trapper and forcibly carried him before Supreme Superboy, then exposed in front of Supreme Superboy that the two of them had originally been one person.

Supreme Superboy could not accept it, so he punched Time Trapper, causing Time Trapper to be erased.

But now, neither Prime Universe Superman nor Time Trapper had appeared here. That meant Supreme Superboy's battle would not be interrupted by a third party.

In other words, as far as Dumb Owl was concerned, Batman would not stop drawing Supreme Superboy's attention toward him until he had completely escaped with the Cosmic Tuning Fork. Supreme Superboy also would not disappear into the spatial distortion caused by his punch striking Time Trapper, as he had in the original history of the Three Worlds.
