The Monitor heard a whisper by his ear—a familiar technique.

"Alphios, if I hadn't heard your voice, I would have almost thought our evil mother had set her sights on me again instead of my more foolish brother. Save your tricks. Of the three of us brothers, only that idiot Mobius would be lured by Mother's whispers and still insist that every decision he made came from his heart."

"In fact, all of Mobius's actions did come from his heart. Our mother is nowhere near capable of manipulating her son. He merely went with the flow."

The World Forger said, "My brother, why don't we get straight to the point? I need your help, and I promise I'll repay you."

"You want to destroy the multiverse, Alphios. You're far crazier than Mobius. As far as I'm concerned, you're hardly any more stable than he is."

"If the positive-matter universes outnumbered the Anti-Matter Universe, I doubt you'd be so self-righteous. But none of that matters." The World Forger retorted at his brother before continuing:

"Let me correct one thing. I've never wanted to destroy the multiverse. I only want to create a better world. But I need your help now in order to protect this world better. It may sound absurd, but at least for now, preventing this multiverse and the Over-Time Stream from collapsing is something we both want, isn't it?"

The Monitor admitted that was true.

"And I already told you about my Baby Multiverse, didn't I? Surely you don't..."

"We'll discuss that later. Besides, I'm not sure you can fool the Source Hand observing our universe."

"Then at least this time..."

"This is good for both of us, but there won't be a next time, Alphios."

A smile appeared at the corner of the World Forger's mouth.
