It was rather ironic. The most responsible Monitor and Anti-Monitor had fought viciously over authority and power, creating the Infinite Earths Crisis and a whole series of other ridiculous disasters as they battled across the DC Multiverse's chessboard until heaven and earth were torn apart.
Yet the World Forger had quietly remained in the World Forge for countless trillions of years, simply because none of his authority or territory had been infringed upon...
But in truth, if every universe that rose into the orbit of the positive-matter universe had been created by the World Forger...
How could anyone expect him to have any sense of responsibility, obligation, or emotional attachment toward those universes he had personally created?
I created all of them anyway! If the DC Multiverse is destroyed, I'll just create a new one. They're all my creations.
The things I created thousands or tens of thousands of years ago—does that make them special, sacred, and indestructible?
