First Lantern said nothing. A few minutes earlier, he had received Perpetua's orders. Perpetua did not believe for a moment that Supreme Superboy would truly surrender. She had instructed First Lantern to stall alongside Supreme Superboy, holding him up until he subdued Batman Dragon. That would not take long.
Supreme Superboy had to be kept out of the final battle. As long as First Lantern could accomplish that, it would be the greatest achievement.
But now, First Lantern had already begun to feel that he could no longer hold him back.
"Hey, didn't we just say something similar?" Supreme Superboy asked.
First Lantern took a deep breath, and Supreme Superboy noticed.
He had already restarted the timeline three times. Supreme Superboy was not Parallax Hal. Hal had been heavily restrained by the Emotional Spectrum, and had suffered a massive weakening when he descended from the Over-Time Stream. He was not at his peak. But Supreme Superboy was different.
If he could, First Lantern did not want to clash with him head-on. He planned to restart the timeline of their meeting once more, just slightly. He did not expect to hide it for long, but at least he could get past this interrogation.
After the timeline restarted, Supreme Superboy might take a little longer to notice what he was doing.
"I'm asking, haven't something like this already happened once? Didn't you hear me?"
But the next second, First Lantern's arm was seized. He could no longer continue trying to escape Supreme Superboy's questioning with the little trick of restarting time.
He met those red-glowing eyes. They were so soul-stirring that they sent chills down his back.
"Tell me, Huo Rong. You've probably restarted the universe, haven't you? How many times did you restart it, exactly? My good friend, tell me." He
