Chen Tao had extracted a small fragment of memory from each member's brain and implanted it into puppets molded from The Red, then used Fifth Dimension Magic to shape them and Six-Dimensional power to conceal them.
The Batman Who Laughs had mistaken him for Nameless Old Dragon. Nameless Old Dragon was the fallen possibility of Chen Tao, while Chen Tao himself had been dragged into that cycle of corruption, endlessly repeating the two plans of [Reversing Earth-15] and [Uniting the Three Brothers].
The Chen Tao of the past became the Old Dragon and was killed by the Chen Tao of the present. Then the Chen Tao of the present grew old and became the Old Dragon, only to be slain by a younger version of the Old Dragon who had crossed through time...
