History

Founding and early position

The sect was founded by True Man Jade Bone, whose personally created Jade Bone Fist Scripture remained its sole True Core cultivation legacy. The scripture was divided into the Bronze Iron Body and Crimson Sun Fist for lower-realm disciples, while its complete creation process and insights were stored on the seventh floor of the Inheritance Hall. 5 170

As an emerging True Core power in the Wu Kingdom, the sect had a much shorter history and shallower foundation than the Book Sword Sect, Thousand Corpse Sect, Blazing Fire Sect, Hundred Flower Palace, and Mountain Moving Hall. Its founding had taken territory from those older powers, creating persistent conflict and frequent disciple-level skirmishes. 13

The sect ruled an area of more than a thousand kilometers with a mortal population exceeding fifty million. It operated forty to fifty Beginner Martial Arts Academies, which collectively sent more than two thousand Postnatal martial artists into the outer sect each year. 12 50

Succession crisis

Old Ancestor Jade Bone’s approaching death exposed the sect’s greatest weakness: without a new True Core cultivator, it risked declining into a Prenatal power or being destroyed by rival sects. Ji Ci and Huang Jue’s failed attempts to enter the True Core realm further undermined its prospects. 98 166

To preserve the sect’s inheritance in the event of collapse, Old Ancestor Jade Bone appointed Zhang Wan as a Dark Vein Elder, transferred the sect’s inheritances and resources to him, and arranged for him to leave the Wu Kingdom as a hidden lineage. 122 129

When Zhang Wan later returned as a True Core cultivator, he and Old Ancestor Jade Bone used the apparent decline of the Old Ancestor’s vitality to expose internal traitors. The sect’s members divided between those willing to defend it, those intending to flee, and those seeking to betray it to the Five Sects. Zhang Wan executed the traitors and established authority through force. 166 167

Zhang Wan’s leadership

Following Old Ancestor Jade Bone’s death, Zhang Wan became Supreme Grand Elder. Ji Ci became Supreme Second Elder and assumed most administrative affairs, while Tie Jinge became Supreme Third Elder and focused on cultivation alongside Zhang Wan. 224

Zhang Wan expanded the sect’s inheritance base by teaching the Heaven and Earth Melting Furnace Cultivation and Great Five Elements Cultivation, then placing their preliminary portions and several simpler techniques in the Inheritance Hall. 198

The sect annexed the Book Sword Sect, Hundred Flower Palace, Blazing Fire Sect, and Mountain Moving Hall. Their former True Core cultivators were incorporated after being defeated and assigned hall positions, while access to advancement resources and special missions was used to test and cultivate their loyalty. 226 227 230

After consolidating the Wu Kingdom, the sect defeated the Bone Annihilation Alliance of Northern Liang Kingdom and Gan Kingdom. It captured numerous True Core cultivators and expanded its influence beyond its original homeland. 237 242

Relocation and expansion

As the Sacred Origin Sect’s unification of the Martial Spirit Domain approached, Zhang Wan ordered the relocation of the sect’s remaining personnel from Arid South to the Thunder Fire Domain. Dragon Phoenix Mountain became a major sect base, where disciples established buildings and cleared surrounding martial path forces. 257 273

The sect later annexed the True Martial Sect and controlled nearly twenty million square kilometers around its new territory. Subordinate or relocated martial path forces developing frontier land retained 80% of their output, while the Jade Bone Sect claimed 20%. 278

Zhang Wan’s clone, acting as a Void Glimpse-level formation master and spirit planter, established formations and spirit plant gardens across the new territories, greatly accelerating development. 278

The Mountain Pagoda Sect and Void Lotus Dao were eventually absorbed as well. Zhang Wan’s public revelation as a Void Glimpse cultivator elevated the Jade Bone Sect into a Void Glimpse sect in name and standing. 360
