Background / History

Zhang Wan had considered creating a second body well before forging the Second True Body. Unlike an ordinary clone, a second body is an independent main body: it can cultivate beyond its creator, survives if the original dies, and is not inherently restrained by the original's realm. Its defining cost is the complete division of the divine soul. 229

After reaching the fourth level of Void Glimpse, Zhang Wan spent two years using EXP to deduce a second-true-body secret technique compatible with the Great Sun Five Elements Melting Furnace Cultivation. He created a body primarily from his own flesh and blood, supplemented it with Blood Palace methods, split his divine soul in two, and installed the second half into the prepared vessel. 262

The new body first reached Ninth Level Dharma Aspect, then became a First Level Void Glimpse martial artist by absorbing flesh-and-blood essence directly from Zhang Wan through their merged palms.
