Wang Xian first uses the Inner World as a route between Immortal Palace on Blue Star and the Wu Dynasty Imperial City in the Martial World. He opens and stabilizes an entrance at each end, making the ancient city inside his world their transfer station 718.

After Tian Ling begins fusing with the world as its Heavenly Dao, its quality rises to Great Thousand World 804 807. Wang Xian subsequently admits populations from other worlds, including Spirit Race members, elves and races seeking safety from wider crises 990 1038 1349. He also places entrances in Blue Star's main cities and numerous dungeons so residents can continue leveling outside the Inner World 879.

Connections to the Chaos Sea and Divine Demon Sea later bring powerful cultivators into the world. Wang Xian declares its core region off-limits to them, while rival factions contest territory farther out 1427 1428. Although the Inner World is ready for another major advancement, he delays it because its rise to the Heavenly Realm's level would expose it to that realm's will 1425 1460.

Structure and Inhabitants

• Core Region — Centers on the Immortal Lotus and has the most abundant spiritual energy. It houses Wang Xian's direct subordinates and races from the Outer Universe and Immortal Great Universe 1428.
• Inner, Middle and Outer Regions — Wang Xian divides the rest of the world into these regions; the Inner Region becomes contested territory for cultivators from the Chaos Sea and Divine Demon Sea 1428.
• Planets — Populations can settle on uninhabited planets, and incoming races have moved entire planets into the Inner World 879 1226.
• Tian Ling — Serves as the Inner World's Heavenly Dao and can enforce its cultivation limit against intruders 804 1425.
• Immortal Lotus — Wang Xian's natal artifact is fused with the Inner World. During an advancement, it draws Chaos Qi that becomes nourishment and spiritual energy for the world 991.

Abilities and Limitations

Passage and refuge

• Wang Xian can establish entrances linking the Inner World to other locations, allowing people to travel through it or shelter inside it 718 1099.
• He connects it to main cities and dungeons, and uses its planets to house migrating populations 879 1226.
• Access is not universal: he cannot connect to it from within a Space Rift in the Extreme Dao Palace, and passages opened inside the Primordial World dungeon last only a little over ten minutes 963 1449.

Growth and power augmentation

• Inner Worlds can enhance their owners' power; greater size provides a greater boost 916.
• The Inner World's foundation strengthens as new inhabitants become recognized as its beings, increasing Wang Xian's strength 1352.
• Its advancement improves spiritual energy, expands inhabited planets and produces heavenly treasures 991.

Authority and defense

• An Inner World's master has absolute power over beings inside it, a reason some cultivators resist entering another person's world 1349.
• A rule limits cultivation within Wang Xian's Inner World to the First Revolution Immortal Emperor realm. Tian Ling can suppress entrants even when Wang Xian is absent 1425.
• Its next advancement poses a major risk: if the Heavenly Realm devours it, Wang Xian estimates that his combat power would fall by at least thirty percent 1427.
