Spell Formation
Soren fell into deep thought.
Unconsciously, he returned to the room. When he saw the scroll of the 3rd-level Spell [Melf's Minute Meteors] on the table, he seemed to remember something and made a decision. Quicken Spell casting is generally achieved after reaching Legendary Tier. His most important thing right now is his current combat strength. It would be too difficult to accumulate Feat Point to reach Epic Quicken Spell, and he might even be able to become a god by then. If he could become a god, it wouldn't be impossible to replace the ability to Epic Quicken Spell in the future.
The realm of the Deity is full of mystery!
So Soren quickly made his decision, muttering to himself, "Choose the Metamagic Feat [Maximize Spell]!"
Once Feat is selected.
Soren's thinking was also completely opened up. He quickly came up with new ideas about the total number of Spell he currently possessed, the combat applications of various Spell, and the types of Spell he remembered.
First, 1st-level Spell!
Protective Spell are largely ineffective against Soren, who possesses incredible agility and Constitution strength. In fact, most 1st-level Spell are less effective than a couple of direct attacks from his own sword. Therefore, all of Sauron's 1st-level Spell slots are dedicated to memorizing [Magic Missile]. Soren currently has six 1st-level Spell; memorizing all of them for Magic Missile allows him to instantly cast 30 missiles using his [Combat Casting] Feat, equivalent to a 6th-Level Spell [Missile Storm].
(Note: Magic Missile has a maximum of 5 missiles, Lesser Missile Storm has a maximum of 15 missiles and a cast time of 2 seconds, and Greater Missile Storm has a maximum of 30 missiles and a cast time of 3 seconds.)
Besides Change Shape Combat Wizard, the Wizard combat system also includes cold-based Wizard, death- Saving Throw Wizard, missile-based burst Wizard, and Bigby's Five-Palm Slap Wizard. The most powerful are probably Change Shape Wizard and Bigby's Five-Palm Slap Wizard, as these two Wizard systems originated before the Arcane Empire. Currently, very few people can master these two sets of combat Spell.
(Note: Bigby, one of the most famous Combat Wizard in history, Bigby's Interposing Hand [Five Rings], Bigby's Forceful Hand [Six Rings], Bigby's Grasping Hand [Level 7], Bigby's Interposing Hand [Level 8], and Bigby's Crushing Hand [Nine Rings]. These five Spell are the legendary Bigby's Five-Palm Slap, a set of combat Spell powerful enough to brutally kill Legendary Warrior in hand-to-hand combat.)
There are two Spell in the Wizard that can be used to God of War higher levels. The first is the ' Melf's Minute Meteors ' discovered by Soren, and the second is the ' Bigby's Five-Palm Slap '.
Among them, Melf's Minute Meteors has even lower casting requirements!
Once you get the idea going, the rest becomes much simpler.
Soren is not lacking in survivability, so there's no need for him to memorize a large number of Abjuration Spell like other Wizard. Therefore, he uses his Spell Slot for support and burst damage. He memorizes one Bull's Strength and one Cat's Grace in his 2nd-level Spell, and uses the remaining three Spell Slot to memorize Magic Missile [Empower Spell].
The 3rd-level Spell is a watershed moment.
Soren, however, chose to forgo memorizing most of the Spell, retaining only Fly, and then using all the other Spell Slot to memorize Magic Missile [Maximize Spell].
In this way...
His Magic Missile Storm was already complete, spanning from the 1st-level Spell to the 3rd-level Spell slots. He had memorized a total of 12 Magic Missile.
Such Missile Storm attack could easily overwhelm the enemy in an instant!
Starting with fourth-circle Spell, Soren became much more cautious with his Spell memorization, because this was crucial to the battle and also an important source of power.
He chose Bull's Strength [Maximize Spell], Cat's Grace [Maximize Spell], and Greater Invisibility.
As a level 10 Wizard, Soren still had two 5th-level Spell slots left. However, he had no intention of memorizing other Spell, as he planned to use them to memorize his trump card.
That is, the ' Melf's Minute Meteors '!
This is a 3rd-level Spell, and when combined with the Metamagic Feat [Maximize Spell], it requires a fifth-circle Spell Slot to memorize.
Since the goal is to maximize damage output, it's impossible to memorize spell slots using the 3rd-level Spell slots.
For the first time, Soren had a fairly clear idea of what to do with Spell memories.
As a top-tier Rogue, he was still a novice in the realm of Wizard. It wasn't until his Spell and Feat gradually took shape that his thinking began to become clearer. Although he possessed 22 points of intelligence and Wizard Class Level of 10, Soren only had about 20 Spell Slot available. This limited number of Spell Slot prevented him from casting spells as leisurely as other Wizard, forcing him to focus on bursts of power in combat, adapting his Rogue- like fighting style as much as possible.
The Spell is complete.
Soren's understanding of his own position became clearer and clearer. He looked at his remaining 80,000+ Slaughter Experience points and chose to memorize most of the core Spell.
This saved him the trouble of having to memorize the Spellbook again!
Job level 10 is a watershed moment. From here on, the Slaughter Experience required to increase job level rises to over 100,000, especially for spellcasting classes, which will require more than 20% more than other melee classes.
In a short period of time.
Soren probably doesn't have much Slaughter Experience to allocate to his Wizard Class Level, and is instead preparing to focus all his efforts on mastering the Rogue's Legendary Skill, [Shadow Domain].
The morning passed quickly.
After clarifying his thoughts, Soren opened his attribute page. He was no longer a low-level thief who roamed the streets of Amber City. In fact, compared to the past, he had advantages in many aspects.
For example, Feat and skills.

Attributes, skills, and Feat.
A powerful professional is built upon these three elements.
Currently, Soren surpasses other players of the same level in all three aspects. His only significant weakness is that his Taunt skill only has 20 points.
There's nothing we can do about it!
Soren's fighting style has always been to eliminate enemies cleanly and efficiently, rarely giving him the opportunity to Taunt or provoke them. Therefore, his Taunt skill has the slowest growth rate.
Perhaps it's because he's had more contact with women, which has improved his acting skills. The only thing that hasn't increased is his Taunt.
Time passed by day by day.
Soren devoted most of his energy to analyzing the ' Melf's Minute Meteors ', but he was still working hard on the layout of the camp, while some intelligence from outside Port Tyler was also being sent over.
War broke out.
Regional conflicts have broken out Northern Orc and the Southern Kingdom, and these small-scale battles have made the situation even more unpredictable.
South Coast Rebel launched a counterattack on a city. The corrupt kingdom declared that they had been bewitched by Evil Devil and urgently called upon the nobles within its borders to quell the rebellion.
Unfortunately, few responded. It seemed that during this period of chaos, many people sensed the impending turmoil. The established noble powers were all thinking about conserving their strength, and few were willing to expend too much power at this time. In particular, the main force of the rebels had not yet suffered heavy losses, and the Devil hidden behind the scenes was only a matter of rumors, with no one able to confirm his identity.
South Gate of the camp.
A furtive figure circled around from the side and climbed through the window into a room.
"Your Excellency, Pastor."
The slender figure removed her cloak, then bowed slightly and said, "I didn't find anything. The Guard at the warehouse are too tight, and there are also Spell Trap set by that Witch. I dare not go over there rashly and disturb them."
There are quite a few Rogue among the followers of the Lady of Fortune.
He was one of the followers, disguised as someone else, and had been secretly trying to spy on the camp ever since he arrived.
"Um."
Jin, dressed in a priest's robe adorned with pearls and gemstones, nodded slightly upon hearing this and said, "It's always better to be careful. Although he's relatively friendly towards us, it's best not to provoke him."
Has any message come from the temple?
Standing behind her was a middle-aged man who looked like an ordinary follower, but in fact he was a third-tier Wizard.
Lady of Fortune has a wide following, and naturally, there are quite a few Wizard who have entrusted their faith to money. Upon hearing this, he immediately replied, "No clear message has come through yet, but the Church is secretly sending people to Diplomacy with the Temple of the Sea."
The 5th-level Spell, ' Message '.
Jin pondered for a moment after hearing his words. Then he said, "Tell them to speed things up. The decline of the City of Wealth might displease the Goddess. If we can open up the shipping routes here, prosperous Trade can enhance the Goddess's Divine Power and influence."
"Yes." The middle-aged man nodded in response.
At this time.
Sitting in the corner, a young woman who appeared to be female, but not a professional, but more like a businesswoman, spoke up, "Jin, is there really a need to be in such a hurry?"
"I don't think this Throat Cutter has much of a business sense at all!"
"These days I've been going out a lot. I've noticed that he's poured most of his manpower and resources into that barren land. This newly cultivated farmland is basically worthless. Even with a year of good weather, it won't earn much money. It's probably less than the wealth from a single ship making round trips in Trade. If he had invested all that time, energy, manpower, and resources into building a port and docks, he could probably earn in a year what he would earn in twenty years from farming!"
"In the end, he was just a short-sighted, nouveau riche country bumpkin who only knew how to cling to his little piece of land."
Jin turned and glanced at her. This young woman seemed to be of high status, hence her gentle tone and slowed head as she said, "Perhaps it's not that simple. A Pirate King who can rise to power in such a short time is certainly not a simple person."
"Perhaps he's plotting something bigger!"
Is he plotting something bigger?
The others fell into deep thought upon hearing this.
What grander scheme could possibly be more important than readily available wealth?
The young woman seemed to understand what he meant, and her eyes brightened slightly.
Temple of the Sea.
With a loud crash as something shattered, a furious growl echoed from within the Naga Priestess: "Outrageous! That insatiable ingrate! How could he not know when he'd gotten involved with the Church of Fortune!"
The Naga Priestess, her face Rage, took a deep breath to calm herself down.
A strange voice came from the side, seemingly emanating from the Seawater beneath the Sub-Deity, and whispered, "Priest! What do we do now?"
The Naga Priestess closed her eyes in thought for a moment, then opened them and said, "This guy is getting harder and harder to control!"
"No!"
"We must send people there to build a temple; it has already developed to a certain scale in the Overseas Islands. It's time to establish the worship of the Goddess of the Sea there."
The eerie voice continued to echo from beneath the Seawater: "What about the Church of Fortune? Those guys are not easy to deal with!"
"Agree to their demands." The Naga Priestess smiled slyly and said slowly, "However, they must pay a price! If they want to extend their faith to the Overseas Islands, they must relinquish some of their interests. Tell them they must allow us to spread our faith among the fishermen in the coastal areas before we will agree to allow them to expand Trade in the Overseas Islands."
Exchange of beliefs.
This is the Naga Priestess's plan!
The Church of the Sea has always struggled to find a foothold in inland areas, remaining confined to the vicinity of Port Tyler for nearly a century.
The Church of Fortune's demands also presented her with an opportunity—a chance to spread their faith along the coast. She dared not make excessive demands, focusing instead on fishermen who might become followers of the Goddess of the Sea. Whether they would further expand the Goddess of the Sea's faith and influence after establishing a foothold along the coast was a matter for the future.
The abundant catch could easily provide them with a breakthrough opportunity.
If the Church of Fortune were to relinquish even a little licensing authority, they could establish a foothold among humanity.
Church Deity. The Naga Priestess are very confident about this, because as long as the sea routes are cut off, the Church of Fortune will be in a very passive position.
Thinking of this, a sinister smile crept onto her lips!
In the dark valley.
The thick stench of blood almost enveloped the land, and everywhere you looked were dead Vampire Bat and hideous Vampire Servant.
In the center were the corpses of Blackguard.
Despite being powerful, corrupted Advanced Class Professional, they ultimately perished under the onslaught of swarms of vampire Vampire Bat.
"How is that possible!..."
The Black-robed Priest was covered in blood, and beneath his tattered robes lay his Full Plate Armor. He gripped a heavy Morningstar in one hand and a gleaming shield in the other, muttering blankly, "How could I possibly fail!..."
Only five followers remained around him.
In the end, all those who survived were priests—high-ranking priests who could wear Full Plate Armor and shields without affecting their spellcasting abilities in the slightest.
In such a fierce and Strangulate battle, priests are always the kind of people who manage to hold out until the very end!
Clatter
The Vampire God Child fell from mid-air, his chest bearing severe burn marks, though the flesh there was rapidly Regeneration. His earlier elegant and composed expression was gone, as half his head appeared to be severely burned. Many high-ranking Dark Guard lay dead nearby, and only a handful of Vampire Servant survived. Relying on a group of cannon fodder against a legion of Blackguard had come at a heavy price.
"It's over."
A smug smile appeared on the Vampire God Child's face as he slowly said, "You've wiped out the elite of the Church of Fear here. Even if you return alive, the High Priest will not let you go."
Have you thought it through?
"Do you choose to serve me, or do you choose death?"
"Now you have no power to stop me, so why cling to the belief in a Deity who is about to fall? Be loyal to me! You will be the next High Priest, and what He can give you, I can give you as well!"
clang.
The sound of weapons hitting the ground.
The Black-robed Priest before them seemed to have given up resisting and slowly knelt down on the ground.
"Hahaha!"
The Vampire God Child revealed a satisfied smile and couldn't help but let out a loud laugh.
Having defeated the elite of the Church of Fear, they will no longer be able to stop him from stealing the Fear Divine Power. Once the Fear Divine Power has accumulated to a certain level, he will be qualified to assume the Portfolio of fear!
In a dark corner of the valley.
The Hell Poet withdrew the Magic Flute from his palm. Around him were corpses that had died in all sorts of bizarre ways, but what they all had in common was that their expressions at the moment of death were peaceful.
He silently gazed at the Vampire God Child ahead, his eyes seemingly flashing with a strange light.
