As Lin Heng stayed with Leng Qingyun and Leng Qingqiu, the Dynasty investigated Yi Pavilion’s schemes and prepared for growing threats from Demon Beasts.

• Lin Heng revealed the White Mystic Brush to Duan Shuyun, and she accepted him as her Dao companion.
• Duan Shuyun killed Xiao Xuan, and Lin Heng extracted his Dao Eye before Xiao Xinhe released the Dead Sand Spirit beneath Medicine King Valley.
• Lin Heng reversed time to weaken the Dead Sand Spirit, allowing Duan Shuyun, Chen Bingyi, and the Jade Origin Vine to defeat it.

Lin Heng hunted treasure with the Blue-Scale Snake, rescued Jiang Caiyan in the Cold Nether Land, and returned to find Leng Qingyun in debt to Leng Qingqiu.

• Ye Tian learned that Lin Heng was Dugu Zixuan’s son and resented Meng Yutong’s preference for him, while Duan Shuyun returned and learned that Fairy Cloud Peak was under threat.
• Ye Tian confessed to Yun Yao, who rejected him and exposed his plot in Golden Horse City, and Duan Shuyun later heard from Yun Yao and Mu Liuxi about their relationships with Lin Heng.
• Lin Heng mistook Leng Qingqiu for Leng Qingyun at Fragrant Residence Tower and was punished, while Leng Qingqiu asked him to look after her sister.
