Appearance
Di Jun can assume an immense Three-legged Golden Crow true form. In battle, his adult body spans millions of zhang, nearly blotting out the sky, and is wreathed in Great Sun Golden Flame. 143
- Three-legged Golden Crow true form. 130 143
- Golden eyes capable of observing distant disturbances through divine ability. 30
- Golden blood flows from injuries sustained in combat. 143
- His flames can distort the void and illuminate the battlefield like daylight. 143
Personality
Di Jun is ambitious, calculating, and highly conscious of long-term political advantage. He avoids provoking forces he cannot confidently overcome, such as the Sanqing and Nuwa, while seeking to recruit valuable figures and expand the Demon Clan through alliances, annexation, and intimidation. 12 18 126
His caution can give way to arrogance when he holds an advantage. After gaining control of the Grand Heavenly Star Dou Formation, he openly threatened to destroy Fengqi Mountain; however, defeats by Nuwa, Shen Hongfei, and Hongjun repeatedly forced him to retreat or compensate his opponents. 40 97 101
Di Jun is also manipulative and ruthless toward both enemies and allies. He framed and injured Fuxi to create a false betrayal, sought to use the Human Race as material for the Witch Slaying Sword, and was willing to self-destruct rather than die alone at the hands of the Twelve Ancestral Witches. 78 140 144
Abilities & Skills
Three-legged Golden Crow Physiology
Di Jun possesses the natural power and true form of a mature Three-legged Golden Crow.
- Releases Great Sun Golden Flame capable of warping the void. 143
- His true form is vastly stronger than the infant Golden Crow Princes. 143
- Can use rapid flight and evasive maneuvers in aerial combat. 100
Great Sun Golden Flame
Di Jun’s signature flame is a destructive Golden Crow power.
- Engulfed the Twelve Ancestral Witches during their assault on him. 143
- Its heat approaches that of the actual sun. 143
- The Ancestral Witches could withstand it with their physical bodies, limiting its effectiveness against them. 143
Sun Transformation Divine Ability
Di Jun’s final technique transforms him into a Great Sun overloaded with unstable energy.
- Intended to annihilate both himself and the Twelve Ancestral Witches. 144
- Required Di Jun to detonate himself; it was a one-use, fatal technique. 144
- Dijiang’s intervention forced the explosion before Di Jun could control its outcome. 144
Grand Heavenly Star Dou Formation
Di Jun successfully deduced and commanded the Demon Clan’s stellar formation, greatly elevating the Heavenly Court’s prestige. 91
- As a formation core, he could draw on the power of 365 main stars. 143
- Could unleash stellar attacks powerful enough to send Nuwa flying and tear apart the surrounding void. 97 98
- His strength within the formation depended heavily on stellar power and distance from opponents; Nuwa closing in would have left him vulnerable. 98
- Without Taiyi serving as a second core, he could not fully display the formation’s power. 143
- Blocking Pangu Phantom’s axe strike depleted the formation’s available star power. 143 144
Strategy and Demon Clan Command
Di Jun directed the Demon Clan through recruitment, coercion, military deployments, and political schemes.
- Recruited Fuxi as the third Demon Emperor to strengthen the Demon Clan’s standing. 25
- Attempted to capture and recruit Kunpeng, recognizing his value to the Demon Clan. 26 28
- Delegated operations against Eastern King Duke to the Ten Great Demon Sages. 18
- Welcomed disciples of the Western and Jie Sects because their Saint-backed affiliations signaled political support. 131
- Persuaded Old Ancestor Styx to join as the fourth Demon Emperor by promising help recovering his lost treasures. 126
Equipment / Weapons / Items
- River Diagram and Luo Shu — Di Jun’s foundational treasures for his path to Sainthood; after recovering Luo Shu, he spent a millennium repairing the pair and increased their power by 30%. 57 61 67

- Golden binding rope — Used to restrain Fuxi after Fuxi returned with the Monster-Recruiting Banner. 95
Relationships
- Eastern Emperor Taiyi — Younger brother, closest military partner, and fellow Three-legged Golden Crow; Taiyi regularly supported Di Jun’s campaigns and followed his strategic direction. 12 40 131
- Fuxi — Third Demon Emperor under Di Jun; Di Jun initially elevated him for his connection to Nuwa, then later used and injured him in a scheme to reclaim the Monster-Recruiting Banner. 25 78
- Nuwa — Initially a desired ally whose recruitment could strengthen the Demon Clan; their relationship deteriorated into repeated conflict over Fengqi Mountain and the Monster-Recruiting Banner. 12 95 101
- Shen Hongfei — Nuwa’s unborn son, whom Di Jun initially tried to win over by releasing Kunpeng; Shen Hongfei later repeatedly exploited Di Jun’s dependence on Luo Shu. 28 57 61

- Qin Yuan — Di Jun’s spouse and mother of the ten Golden Crow Princes. 129 130
- Ten Golden Crow Princes — Di Jun’s offspring; nine were slain by Hou Yi, leaving the sixth prince as the sole survivor of the attack. 130 138
- Dijiang — Leader of the Witch Clan and Di Jun’s final opponent; Dijiang sacrificed himself to prevent Di Jun from destroying the remaining Ancestral Witches. 143 144
Story Role / Major Arcs
Rise of the Demon Clan
After returning to the Solar Star with Taiyi, Di Jun spent a century secretly amassing Demon Clan forces, subjugating races, and gathering demon soldiers. He prioritized winning over Nuwa and Shen Hongfei rather than provoking powerful rivals for short-term gains. 12 18
He expanded the Heavenly Court’s leadership by appointing Fuxi as the third Demon Emperor and sought to recruit Kunpeng through an overwhelming show of force. Shen Hongfei persuaded him to release Kunpeng, and Di Jun accepted in hopes of gaining Shen Hongfei’s future favor. 25 26 28
Conflict with Nuwa and Hongjun
Nuwa’s refinement of the Monster-Recruiting Banner terrified Di Jun, forcing him to kneel under its demon-commanding pressure. He recognized that Nuwa and Shen Hongfei could undermine his authority among demonkind. 33
When Hongjun decreed peace between the Witch and Demon Clans, Di Jun attempted to defy the order. Hongjun struck him with three bolts of purple lightning, nearly reducing him to ashes and forcing the Demon Clan to obey. 40
Di Jun later attacked the Dragon Clan and attempted to reclaim Luo Shu after Shen Hongfei seized it. Forced to withdraw, he ultimately exchanged a supreme-grade Innate Spiritual Treasure and an Innate Spiritual Root for its return, then repaired the River Diagram and Luo Shu in seclusion. 57 61 67
The Grand Heavenly Star Dou Formation
Concerned by Nuwa’s breakthrough and the growing number of Quasi-Saints, Di Jun strengthened the Demon Clan rather than immediately seeking revenge. 67 80 106
He successfully deduced the Grand Heavenly Star Dou Formation, providing the Demon Clan with a major strategic weapon. After obtaining the Monster-Recruiting Banner, he used the formation to attack Fengqi Mountain, but Nuwa, Shen Hongfei, and Laozi forced him to withdraw and pay compensation. 91 95 97 101
Preparation for the Witch–Demon War
After the Saints were restricted from entering the Primordial Era, Di Jun saw an opportunity for the Demon Clan to dominate without direct Saint intervention. He recruited Styx, welcomed outside sect disciples, and celebrated the birth of his ten Golden Crow sons as a major boost to the Demon Clan’s prestige. 120 126 130 131
The deaths of nine Golden Crow Princes at Hou Yi’s hands drove Di Jun to declare that he would exterminate the Witch Clan. He and Taiyi then approved Styx’s plan to slaughter one hundred million humans to forge the Witch Slaying Sword. 138 140
Death
While Taiyi and Styx led Demon Clan elites away to refine the Witch Slaying Sword, the Twelve Ancestral Witches infiltrated Di Jun’s camp and surrounded him. Di Jun fought in his Golden Crow form and used the Grand Heavenly Star Dou Formation, but could not fully unleash it without Taiyi as a second core. 142 143
Facing a second strike from Pangu Phantom, Di Jun used Sun Transformation in an attempt to perish with all Twelve Ancestral Witches. Dijiang sacrificed himself by embracing Di Jun and detonating with him, killing Di Jun and devastating nearby Demon Clan forces. 144 145
Notable Quotes
“The Witch Clan! How dare you slaughter my offspring! I will exterminate your entire Witch Clan to vent my hatred!” 138
“Since you all want me dead, then I'll take you all down with me!” 144
Trivia
