Background / History
Jing Qian was a fencer whose rival Wang Li repeatedly dismissed him as untalented. Before leaving for the capital, Jing Qian’s grandfather recognized his potential and sent him the family sword manual. Jing Qian later killed one robber and wounded four while resisting a bandit attack, but suffered mortal wounds himself. 1
After death, he entered a confined space with the bandit leader he had killed. Each time Jing Qian defeated the revived enemy, he absorbed pale-green smoke containing strength, physique, and martial-arts memories. After seven kills, the enemy finally disintegrated, and a stone tablet identified Jing Qian as its host, with a lifespan of one year, 0.1 Destiny Essence, and no Destiny Constitution. He then awakened as an infant under his grandmother’s care. 1
His rebirth gave him Innate Primordial Qi to forge his body and placed him on the path of Destiny Constitutions. He acquired the Golden Root Sumeru Constitution, which enabled void travel, and the Azure Wing Sewing Souls and Weaving Spirits Constitution. 4 13 21
On Hun Zhou, Jing Qian manipulated his Jing Clan lineage and recovered “ancestor relics” to claim compensation from the Maritime Affairs Office. He ultimately earned a government post, became Hun Zhou’s Education Directorate through a merit evaluation, and left a Little Ghost incarnation to impersonate him while his true body cultivated and acted independently. 41 83 86
After entering the wider cultivation world, Jing Qian became both a Pure Yang Child and a Jambudvipa Child. He founded Yanfu Dao in Hun Zhou, publicly claimed the Jambudvipa Child title, and appointed protectors through imperial decrees. 129 143
He later travelled to the Limitless Heavenly Dynasty, studied the E’Huang Grand Canon at Book Mountain, joined the Imperial Son selection under the identity Su Jing, and was enfeoffed as a duke by the Empress’s Human Form. 149 185 188
E’Gao Shangdi’s attempt to assassinate him through his Duke Jing title instead gave Jing Qian the opportunity to replace his human bloodline with the Pangu bloodline. He discarded the remaining ties of both the Su and Jing clans and declared himself the sole Pangu Clan. 197
Appearance
Jing Qian can alter his body through the Nourishing Flesh Sprouts Constitution. After one major restructuring, he became a thin youth just over four feet tall, with bright eyes and a restrained but ambitious presence. 86
- His physical form can be reshaped to heal injuries, remove lesions, and optimize his organs. 86
- Awakening the Pangu Embryo caused his skin to develop innate Dao patterns, his blood to carry primordial-chaos aura, and space-time to warp slightly around his body. 185
- His Sage Appearance can merge completely with his body as living light armor traced with Six Paths Reincarnation and Sumeru patterns. 146
- His Sumeru Xiang Er Sword Body normally lies dormant beneath his skin, but can manifest as a towering armored combat form. 235
Personality
Jing Qian is intensely pragmatic about cultivation. He treats knowledge, enemies, resources, and even repeated deaths in illusionary battles as material for improvement. He is willing to deceive officials, assume aliases, seize opportunities, and make ruthless calculations when doing so advances his path. 41 95 252
He is also patient and methodical. He used Worldly Understanding to reorganize his accumulated memories and knowledge, studied the history of the Limitless Heavenly Dynasty in detail before dealing with its great clans, and repeatedly refines his systems rather than relying on a single advantage. 45 149 231
In combat, Jing Qian actively seeks stronger opponents and responds harshly to threats. He kills enemies who endanger him, repeatedly challenged the Qiongqi despite dying in the process, and later pursued cultivators who had previously targeted him after advancing his Chronology. 95 275
