Abel used his mental power to begin recording the strange patterns he saw, but the difficulty of the process exceeded his imagination.
The strange patterns seemed to be protected by some kind of power. To see them clearly, he could only continuously urge the fluctuations generated by the Wizard Crystal and his soul. Only through these fluctuations could the strange patterns reveal themselves.
However, generating these fluctuations between the Wizard Crystal and his soul consumed the mana within the Wizard Crystal, and the rate of consumption was terrifyingly fast.
Every one of these strange patterns was extremely complex. Abel had only observed half of the first pattern when all the mana in his body had been drained.
He opened his eyes. The information transmitted by his Druidic sub-soul shocked him, because it was already the next morning.
In other words, he had spent more than an entire night observing only half of one pattern among the many strange patterns, yet he had not sensed the passage of time at all.
"Next time, I'll have to study in the Dark World. This wastes far too much time!" He shook his head and muttered.
He did not know that the other Level 20 peak High-level Wizards measured the time they spent on half a pattern in years. He possessed the power of the World Stone Fragment, which allowed him to break through the effect that prevented the strange patterns from being remembered.
For the other Level 20 peak High-level Wizards, the only way to remember these rule patterns was to repeat them over and over until they became instinctive memories. After remembering them, they would soon forget them. They had to repeat the process constantly until the pattern was engraved into their souls.
Abel discovered that a faint half-pattern had already appeared
