Nature

Origin is treated as a fundamental source of power rather than conventional energy. It can be accumulated, refined, traded, consumed, and incorporated into living beings, worlds, and the Abyss itself. High concentrations of Origin strengthen an entity's foundation and can support advancement beyond ordinary cultivation limits. 450 516

Origin can also be bound to a universe or individual. Xilan's Origin Divine Spark represented her Seventh Universe Sea and was surrendered to Yang Yu as part of its merger into the Abyss. 392

Origin Matter is described as the sole key to Transcendence in the Zero-Point Dimension. Proxies compete for it through Trials, while the amount possessed determines their prospects in the final contest. 387

History

Zero-Point Coliseum

Origin Matter was introduced as the central reward of the Zero-Point Coliseum's Trials. Xilan explained that it formed the Zero-Point Dimension's foundation and was necessary for Transcendence. 387

During the Flesh Mill Trial, Yang Yu bypassed normal competition by using his Clones to collect Origin Matter in bulk and transfer it into the Abyss. His control of production gave him sufficient resources to overwhelm Xilan in their conceptual confrontation. 390 391

Seventh Universe Sea Merger

After Xilan's failed escape, Yang Yu forced her to surrender her Origin Divine Spark. The spark represented the laws, resources, population, and foundation of the Seventh Universe Sea, which Yang Yu intended to merge into the Abyss. 392

Xilan subsequently became bound to the Abyss through shared survival: the destruction of Yang Yu or the Abyss would destroy her parasitic Weaving Body and Origin as well. 394

Abyss Mark Network

When Yang Yu reforged the Abyss Mark, he embedded a reverse channel connecting each holder's soul core to his Dominator node. The network extracts and copies a ten-percent share of the purest gains generated through cultivation, combat, and breakthrough. 411 412

This feedback mechanism later restored Yang Yu's damaged Origin and strengthened his Chaos Body as Players across the Abyss fought and refined high-dimensional materials. 415 418

Abyss Exchange Expansion

The Abyss Exchange turned Origin into the basis of a large-scale service economy. External cultivators paid High-Dimensional Origin for healing, cultivation trials, weapon modification, forging, and resurrection-related services. 516

The resulting influx allowed Yang Yu to advance from the Fifth Step of Path Severing to the Sixth Step, Name Holding, while the name Abyss condensed through recognition and transactional causality. 516
