She had already been inside the hotel for some time.

She walked for a while longer before finally emerging from the fog and reaching the hotel.
There was nothing in the hotel. There were no traces of people, nor any written records or photographs. It was completely empty, as though the owner had been chased away by something and fled without leaving a single clue behind.
Xiya searched the first floor, then went up to the second floor.
She opened and inspected the rooms one by one, but apart from quilts and pillows, there was nothing else worth noting inside.
Finally, Xiya arrived at the Room at the end of the corridor.
She pushed open the door. Everything inside was as usual.
Still, Xiya always felt that something about this room was off.
She went up to the third floor and conducted the same investigation. Only then did Xiya finally discover the problem.
The room at the end of the second-floor corridor had a different bed arrangement from the other rooms.
Although it still contained the same furniture, the different arrangement created an illusion of space.
She immediately returned to the second floor and stopped outside the room at the end of the corridor.
Xiya pushed open the door and compared it with the arrangement next door, confirming that it was indeed different.
As for why there was such a difference, Xiya guessed that perhaps something was being hidden here.
She looked around the room, then first lay down to inspect beneath the bed.
