While Witch Macedon and Locke spoke across the distance, red rain suddenly began to fall.

Witch Macedon looked down at the earth. "That's Dao Weeping. Heaven and earth are crying. A Great Magic has collapsed. Whose was it?

"Patrick's?"

On the land of the Genesis Blue Lotus, Patrick tried to make his way toward the last place where life remained. But with every step, his body decayed further. The other Elves could still survive under the protection of their Great Magics. Patrick, however, was a Star-Ring Wizard who had been stabbed in the back by Edgar. Now he had only himself to rely on.

That made him even more vulnerable than the ordinary Elves.

"There has to be a way. I can win."

Obsession burned in Patrick's eyes. Filth covered him from head to toe, turning him into a figure of mud, yet he stubbornly searched for that last spark of life. He ran through formula after formula in his head, trying to locate it. When every calculation told him there was no chance of survival, he abandoned the calculations and kept searching.

Cracks spread across his body. Mud clung to every inch of him, then dried into a foul-smelling crust. His Great Magic had not completely run out of energy, but the Doomsday Aura was so heavy that errors kept appearing within it. Then errors began to appear in his Permanent Defense Field Shell and his soul. Together, they drove his body, soul, and magic into a threefold collapse. One purple sludge monster after another crawled out of his Great Magic: Rainbow Nursery.

Every sludge monster had a Rainbow Succulent growing on its head.

The magic plants Patrick loved studying most were succulents. Rainbow Succulent Studies was a specialized field that depended heavily on different kinds of Magic Soil
