Survivors of the Great Void Exploration Era!
Using the King's New Shoes, Wizard Mike sped deeper into the Poison Snake World, constantly looking back to make sure there were no pursuers on the path he had come from. "Finally, I've shaken them off."
A roar of a Demon Dragon echoed from the sky.
Wizard Mike looked up at the sky and saw two Sun-Ring Level Flying Serpent Demon Dragon holding Magic Poison Spring, hovering in mid-air in the sky above the Venom Great World. Because it was Magic Pressure reaction from the native world lords of the world, many wizards also looked up at the sky.
In the sky, two Flying Serpent Demon Dragon each extended their claws, one holding a Magic Poison Spring Magic Poison Spring, and then grasped the other's claw that held one. The next moment, the two Flying Serpent Demon Dragon roared, and two enormous Sun-Ring Level Magic Pressure collided. The Venom Domain Venom Domain of the two creatures spread out and then squeezed into each other's Venom Domain, the emerald green domain worlds continuously pressing deeper into each other's souls.
Two boundaries are constantly colliding.
A moment later, a massive explosion of Magic Pressure suddenly occurred, causing a storm that swept across the surrounding areas of this world.
Currently, most of the wizards in the Venom Great World are looking in this direction.
Directly below this phenomenon, the wizards of Mike and the three expedition teams that had signed contracts with Solas Barefoot all shielded their eyes with their left hands, blocking the Magic Power aura and storms caused by the rapidly changing Magic Pressure, letting the gale blow across their cheeks.
Mike's pupils suddenly contracted. "What happened?"
The two Flying Serpent Demon Dragon gradually merged into one, transforming into a larger Flying Serpent Demon Dragon with even greater Magic Pressure. This Flying Serpent Demon Dragon had a lightning bolt-shaped seam on its body, as if it had been pieced together, and each of its left and right claws held a Magic Poison Spring.
Originally, the Magic Pressure of a Flying Serpent Demon Dragon Guardian was 49,999.
After the two Flying Serpent Demon Dragon Guardian Sun-Ring Magic Pressure was at its limit, merged into one, in this world without the three great mountains to limit their Magic Pressure, their Magic Pressure was suspected to have exceeded the limit, reaching a terrifying Magic Pressure of over 60,000 points!
That is, Magic Pressure at the Third-Ring Level!
Wizard Mike looked at the combined Flying Serpent Demon Dragon in the sky, an expression of disbelief on his face. "This Magic Pressure..."
"Are you kidding me?"
"How can two independent souls merge together? Their Universal Pull and Powerful Spiritual Touch Field are like two distorted fields interlocked, forming a Tai Chi sphere."
"The two eyes of the Tai Chi sphere are the Magic Poison Spring held by its left and right dragon claws. These Magic Poison Spring not only provide Magic Pressure to the guardians, but also seem to be able to fuse them together. Of course, this guess is probably not accurate. We need to capture one and test it."
"Wizard Mike is at a loss." "But this is already Third-Ring Level Magic Pressure, isn't it? Calm down, calm down, we explorers often encounter..."
"To the monsters in those worlds where the Magic Pressure Magic Pressure far exceeds our own."
"The closer we get to this point, the calmer I need to be, and I understand that for wizards, their greatest advantage lies only in Wisdom and civilization."
Locke's Illusion said, "It wasn't a true soul fusion, but rather the use of Spiritual Taiji Ball technique based on grafting and breeding. It seems that those behind this world are indeed wizards."
"Our repeated invasions must have put a lot of pressure on this world. Perhaps there are High-Ring Wizard maintaining order behind the scenes. Even if there aren't, some kind of mechanism exists. The World Will might be utilizing the mechanisms and Mana that the wizards left behind and are deeply integrated with this world."
"This merging phenomenon has already become part of the Plane Principle."
Locke opened the Spiritual Vision of the Moon-Ring Grand Wizard and saw the strange Magic Power emanating from the Flying Serpent Demon Dragon holding two streams of Magic Poison Spring flowing into the world, then transforming into the Plane Principle and spreading throughout the entire world.
"Boss," Mike the Wizard asked, "What does this mean?"
Locke said, "That means after this merger, all the Guardians of the Magic Poison Spring can combine into one and possess Third-Ring Level Magic Pressure."
The Wizard Mike gasped.
He stretched out his palm and brushed the ground, and cracks appeared in the ground. Amidst the flying sand and stones, the stones came together and formed a stone pillar magic wand.
"That makes the expedition much more difficult. No problem, that's our duty as explorers. The greater the difficulty, the greater my ability. Let's go back to the original route."
The wizard Mike walked forward, braving the sandstorm generated by the Magic Pressure.
Locke's Illusion said to Wizard Mike, "I can use my Second Ring- level Archaeology ability to point to the ruins related to the Golden City we saw earlier using the Historical Pointer."
"So it will be much easier to go back this time."
"Using the King's New Shoes - Air Pineapple, its mobility is even slightly faster than Black Lightning - Air Pineapple."
Wizard Mike looked at the Wizard's Shoe on his feet. "Yes, they're so light, it's like I'm not wearing anything at all. My mobility is now at the Star-Ring Level. This feeling is just too amazing."
Locke, his true form positioned atop the Wizard Array he had constructed, raised his right hand and looked towards the location indicated by the Historical Pointer. "Mike, head to the left. Fifty kilometers to your left, there's a relic related to the golden ruins we just saw."
These words were conveyed directly to Mike through his Illusion, but what Locke didn't say was the next sentence, "Although I believe that the ruins of that Golden City were very likely maintained using some kind of Conjuration School, so it's impossible for us to return to those original Golden City ruins."
This is Locke's Historical Dynamism, which gives him an extraordinary intuition when dealing with ancient relics.
Unfortunately, he received numerous warnings from various parties, telling him to be careful of the founding father of Archaeology.
In the Venom Great World, just as Wizard Mike was rushing towards the direction Locke had indicated, the three expedition teams and Wizard Bruce gathered together. The Witch Hernan contacted Wizard Argos, Argos appeared extremely agitated on the Illusion Screen.
"You mean you managed to let them escape even after you'd already laid a trap?"
"Is the other side some kind of Grand Explorer? He's just a greenhorn, Second-Ring Wizard. Wizards of this level, even the Wizard Academy they come from, are quite ordinary, and they don't have many articles published in the first district. Although there is one. Anyway, you want to tell us, with so many of you mobilized, you can't even capture a wizard like that?"
The witch Hernan apologized, saying, "Teacher, it seems the opponent had the Illusion of Locke Augustine assisting them. Even without Locke Augustine 'Augustine power, Locke Wisdom alone would be difficult to deal with. Moreover, Wizard's Shoe with advanced invisibility—they are indeed rare. To ensure the Justice of the experiment, we didn't bring too many high-level magical artifacts."
The Wizard Argos was about to lose his temper.
Captain Hernan the Witch said, "However, when I fought him just now, I sewed a tracking thread into his skin. His wizard's robes, or rather that magical plant, were indeed very strange and difficult to deal with. But I still managed to seize the opportunity to secretly place a tracking thread on him. We were about to catch up with him. Who knew, suddenly the Flying Serpent Demon Dragon merged, generating an abnormal Third-Ring Level Magic Pressure phenomenon, and all the surrounding Magic Tide concentration gradients were..."
They are converging here.
"Therefore, it interfered with our tracking wire."
"Our Red Elk Wizard's Shoe possess the ability to lock onto these tracking threads, which is an inherent ability of our Wizard's Shoe. So, strictly speaking, we can't say we've lost this operation; it was only temporarily interrupted due to the merging of the Flying Serpent Demon Dragon. Right now, that Flying Serpent Demon Dragon is killing wizards everywhere. Once it's gone, we can use the tracking threads to catch up with the wizard and seize the magical artifacts and equipment Locke made from him."
Before the Illusion Screen, the Wizard Argos's expression softened considerably.
"Well done. As expected of my student, Hernan. Hernan, please convey a message to everyone. The Wizard's Shoe, made with the World Foundation Stone as their core material, have been sealed away because I was worried that fully activating the World Foundation Stone's power would burn Wizard's Shoe. The Magic Pressure fluctuations are only four-fifths of their peak. But now I will order one of my students to bring the key to unlock the Wizard's Shoe Wizard's Shoe and allow you to use all the functions I designed."
"At the same time, I will give each of you, my students, a Rose Ring, the most precious treasure of the Rose School Lineage, which everyone desires."
The witch Hernan paused for a moment. "Um... teacher, thank you. We will certainly not fail in our mission."
The Witch Hernan hung up the phone and then reported the current situation to the Star-Ring Wizard captain, the newly appointed Moon-Ring Wizard expedition leader, and Wizard Bruce. "That's the situation. The Magic Pressure is gradually returning to normal, and I can now track down Augustus's explorer's representative."
"We tracked him down while waiting for the key to unlock the Wizard's Shoe that our teacher would give us."
"While the World Foundation Stone enhances the performance of our Wizard's Shoe, it also presents a challenge to their Wizard's Shoe -bearing capacity."
The captain of the Star Ring, a Thunder Magic wizard signed by Solas Barefoot, had an indifferent expression. He wasn't a member of Solas Faction, just an employee. Since his employer wanted him to do some work, he naturally couldn't refuse. Ten lightning bolts were wrapped around him, and he held a Gaul club wand in his hand and a wizard's pipe in his mouth.
"Sure, I don't care. I'm just an employee."
He had a lazy, smug look on his face. "The boss pays me and my subordinates a certain amount, and that's how much we put in the work. Right now, the boss is paying us more than he paid us when Rose was manager, so we're helping him out."
The Moon-Ring Witch, however, remained indifferent. She was also an employee, but she was a legitimate Textile Studies wizard. The thought of the Pure Magic Plant Wizard Shoes made her look disgusted.
"Sure. The Pure Magic Plant Wizard Shoes are a joke. This technical route is merely a result of individual talent and ability, not something truly feasible."
"I hate these kinds of phantom-like, unreal things the most."
"Then let's chase after them."
Bruce, however, looked up at the enormous Magic Creature flying overhead, his eyes flashing with regret.
At the Kunguding Academy, before Mike was hired, he was the most outstanding wizard. But as soon as Mike arrived, he attracted the attention of the dean and the leaders, and all the resources were given to him first. He was not happy about it.
He's clearly very talented too.
At first, he could tolerate it, but later he used a device in the Academy's laboratory to conduct a simulation, which was a world without Mike!
As a result, he would have acquired far more Magic Resources than he currently possesses, and might already be Star-Ring Wizard.
After that, he could no longer stand Mike.
Without Mike, everyone would think he was the real genius!
Bruce's face darkened. "Mike, you're really lucky. If that monster hadn't suddenly appeared, you'd be done for."
Following Locke's instructions, Wizard Mike arrived at the valley Locke had pointed out in the shortest possible time. The valley was covered with round, jagged rocks. As soon as Wizard Mike arrived, venomous snakes emerged from the cracks in the rocks, but before they could get close to Mike, they were crushed into steam by his Magic Pressure.
Locke's Illusion said to Mike, "Mr. Mike, blast these rocks apart."
Wizard Mike nodded, then slammed his stone wand into the ground, casting Earthquake Spell. With each tremor, all the rocks in the valley shattered.
The wizard Mike jumped into the valley, and after the falling rocks were shattered, various murals were revealed inside the valley.
"Oh, I see."
Wizard Mike looked down at the building beneath his feet. "There should be a palace that has sunk underground. I'm currently standing on its roof. Because the palace has sunk, this valley is also covered by fallen rocks. Luckily, Mr. Locke knew exactly what was below. An ordinary wizard passing by would just think it's a simple pile of rubble. The terrain of this world is chaotic to begin with, inhabited by a group of enormous monsters. The slightest movement of theirs can cause the sky to collapse and the earth to crack. There are many places where they have caused falling rocks."
The Illusion of Locke did not answer him, but instead looked down at the murals on the building he had found using the Historical Pointer.
This mural seems to record a history. The parts were incomplete, but Locke used Archaeology Spell to restore them, so that they could be deciphered.
After Locke finished examining all the murals, he waved his hand, and a series of illusory figures appeared before him. "The murals have been deliberately rearranged, key details have been destroyed, and the positions of the murals have been shifted. But these signs of damage cannot fool me, an Archaeology wizard. Therefore, the correct order should be as follows."
Locke manually adjusted these ghostly figures.
As he adjusted, a complete historical narrative about the past of the Venom Great World appeared before everyone.
This is a group of wizards from ordinary families in a past era. They have several children, but they are neither the eldest nor the most talented; they are simply the most mediocre.
In one relief, a wizard gazes calmly at his eldest son and daughter, who have inherited most of the family's wealth.
The next relief depicts the group of wizards heading towards a port.
According to the story depicted in the relief, these wizards made a firm decision in order to find their own place in the world. They could not stay in the Wizarding World because they had nothing to inherit and no ability to compete for the Ancestral Blessing. If they stayed in their families, no one would have high hopes for them.
Because the Wizarding World at that time had reached its limit in terms of resources, and there were simply too many wizards, the social hierarchy had long been solidified. Therefore, for a wizarding family, seeking stability was a more important need than ensuring that their descendants would rise to prominence. So, if they stayed, the only position they could be given was to live a peaceful life.
This is also a good option.
However, these people, who had read about the ancient wizards' determination to pursue the truth and their glorious history since childhood, could not possibly tolerate such decadence in themselves.
They made up their minds and resolutely left their familiar homeland, boarding Void Battleship to travel to the Infinite Void in search of the world that belonged to them.
Locke saw on the relief a Void Battleship sailing into the Infinite Void, carrying only a group of people from the Wizarding World.
Young men and women who have nothing and can't find a suitable place.
The ship carried these young men and women, the second son and second daughter of a wizarding noble family, their heavy dreams and their determination to Truth-Seeking.
Before leaving, they signed agreements with their respective families. The families gave them a final sum of money to support their exploration of the Infinite Void. From then on, they were no longer related to their families and were not allowed to return to the Wizarding World. If they did return, they were not allowed to return to their family's territory.
This is the best solution to prevent disputes among family members when class divisions are rigid and there are no family resources to distribute.
Despite the possibility of losing their stable lives, these young wizards still chose to give up and venture into this unknown world.
They swore an oath to dedicate their lives to the Truth-Seeking and to carve out their own niche in the Infinite Void. In the relief, the eyes of these young male and female wizards are bright and piercing, eyes that seek Truth-Seeking from above, eyes full of the possibilities of the future.
The latter half of the relief depicts how they overcame obstacles in the Infinite Void to build their own magical world.
Due to a lack of resources, two-thirds of this group died within ten years of setting sail, or were separated from the main force and disappeared without a trace. The remaining third of the wizards were very lucky and actually found a Greater World. They were very excited and began to build their own world in this Greater World.
Even more fortunately, this Greater World turned out to be a newly emerging world of life, and there was no native Wisdom race yet.
This means that these wizards were among the first Wisdom races to arrive in this world, and the world accepted them, making them the native race of this world.
They call themselves the Wizarding World — Pruodimor!
In order to demonstrate their uniqueness and resilience in the face of adversity to their ancestors and the old world, they called themselves the true Wizard Civilization.
The last three reliefs illustrate that at a certain point in time, Pruodimor suddenly lost all contact with the wizarding world. A freezing storm of Magic Pressure swept through their entire world and the surrounding star system, plunging Pruodimor into a three-thousand-year winter. After this, Pruodimor was completely unable to contact the Wizarding World. During this icy storm, most of the void navigation facilities were destroyed, the Golden Trade Route was frozen or rendered unusable, and many surrounding worlds were even permanently frozen.
The environment for navigating in the void is extremely harsh.
Locke and the wizard Mike, who was watching from the side, fell silent after witnessing all of this.
This is a complete record of the experiences of a branch of the Wizard Civilization at the end of the era of the Great Void Exploration in the Wizarding World.
"That's not right," Wizard Mike questioned. "The Wizard Civilization depicted in the relief is vibrant, differing from our current Wizarding World only in technology and civilization. But essentially, it's still our past. So what's going on in the Venom Great World now? It's practically become a beast's den. This relief depicts numerous incredibly prosperous magical cities like Pruodimor."
The difference between this and the wild animal kingdom is simply too great.
Wizard Mike pondered, "The story depicted on the relief is full of vitality. It's about a group of young people who left their homes to create their own world in another world. Since this is a world created by young people from the Wizarding World, what exactly happened here to make it this way?"
Wizard Mike said, "Let me use another Earthquake Spell and see if I can create anything else."
Locke's Illusion did not answer, but instead Illusion to a statue. Although the statue was incomplete, he recognized it at a glance as the statue of the witch he had seen before who had spoken with the Lich God.
A sentence was written on the ground in front of the statue. The words were carved into the bricks with Golden Magic and have remained intact for hundreds of thousands of years.
This clearly uses extremely advanced Golden Magic.
Locke read these words aloud, "The Golden Nature is gone, the tradition lost, but Her Majesty the Queen has shown us a new way. We regard her as a messenger of truth, and together we believe she has already surpassed us; therefore, she is the embodiment of truth among us. Today she shall ascend the throne here, and those who disobey shall be executed immediately. Here she becomes truth."
Mike the Wizard pointed at the statue and said, "Boss, I recognize it. Isn't that the witch from before?"
What does this mean? Is it a tribute to her academic achievements?
Locke said, "During the Great Void Exploration Era, wizards with higher academic achievements will be worshipped by everyone. If their bloodline is very noble, they will easily be honored as queens."
"That is, the Philosopher King!"
"So how did this Philosopher King come to know the Lich God and mingle with the God Clan? What is this so-called technology to replace the Golden Nature? Very interesting. Mr. Mike, I thank you for helping me discover so much. Let's move on quickly. Some little bugs are following us. Before we go, let's restore this place to its original state."
"I don't want anyone to damage these historical sites. Don't worry, as long as you deliberately walk slowly and let those people catch up with you, they won't have any chance of discovering this place. This site is still very valuable; it would be a real pity if it were destroyed by someone who doesn't appreciate its beauty."
"I'm just sorry to trouble you."
Wizard Mike patted his chest. "We Constructor are not afraid of hardship or fatigue. Our bodies are as strong as steel and concrete; we'll never complain of being tired!"
Locke's Illusion nodded.
Wizard Mike leaped into the valley and then used the Earth Gravity Curse to harmonize the Spiritual Touch Field, restoring all the stone powder that had been destroyed into dust to its normal state, turning it into stone spheres.
Having done all this, Wizard Mike quickly put on the King's New Shoes and left.
Less than ten minutes after he left, the Witch of Hernan arrived with the Elk Gravity.
The Hernan Witch glanced at the fallen rocks in the valley, where the Wizard Law Mike still lingered.
"Come on, they can't escape. We're about to catch up with him."
An hour later, Wizard Mike stood in front of a hilltop. He slammed his Rock Wand into the ground and, following Locke's instructions, adjusted the All-Encompassing Pull and Powerful Spiritual Touch Field, opening a door at the base of a small hill in front of him. As soon as Wizard Mike stepped inside, the door vanished.
Wizard Mike said to Locke, "The Kunguding Academy's Great Magic, Thousand Machines, can connect thousands of Second-Ring Spell Model under the influence of the Kunguding Cube core. It is extremely difficult to master; it is almost impossible to do without a body and will of steel. The advantage is that I will be able to use more spells."
Locke Illusion said, "I noticed before that the core of the Thousand Machine Mansion used World Foundation Stone materials, right? Is this the same magical technology used by the expedition team hired by Solas Barefoot?"
Wizard Mike said, "Matter is matter, but the technological approach is completely different. Only by using materials with high energy density and high Magic Pressure load, such as the World Foundation Stone World Foundation Stone, and its [world-class Spiritual Touch Field harmonization ability], is it possible to construct the Great Magic Thousand Machines Mansion. However, the World Foundation Stone is the work of a Throne Wizard. Strictly speaking, both our Kunguding Academy and Solas Barefoot are beneficiaries of this magical material and have developed suitable uses for it."
"We use Earth Magic to use it, Solas Barefoot Textile Studies to process it. Even with the same material and the same properties, different technological approaches will result in completely different costs, methods of use, and construction difficulties. Indeed, one-third of the foundation of modern magical civilization lies in the advancements in magical materials brought about by Alchemy School and the discovery of more new Composite Element particles."
Wizard Mike said to Locke, "Those wizards who were chasing me earlier, I saw the shadow of the World Foundation Stone on the heels of their Wizard's Shoe. That's definitely a very powerful substance. Their magical level is very high, and there are more of them than me."
"But the way they use the World Foundation Stone is no more honorable than mine." Wizard Mike raised his fist.
Furthermore, I am acutely aware of the World Foundation Stone's weakness. I am pondering how they resolved the World Foundation Stone's fatal flaw: it instantly combines with other matter within the world whenever it comes into contact with it, becoming a major defect that causes it to transform into other matter.
Behind the wizard Mike, a building appeared, its rooms constantly rotating. Locke saw a World Foundation Stone, the size of a normal room, radiating magical light, emerging from these multiple rooms.
Locke glanced at him. He wasn't a wizard of the Shaping School, and his understanding of this field was only piecemeal, gained through reading articles in journals. He lacked a systematic approach to many fundamental concepts, so it was normal that he didn't know this.
However, my judgment was indeed correct.
Mike had only dealt with those people twice before he had already figured out a plan.
It seems his inner self is not as rugged as his outward appearance suggests.
Wizard Mike walked into the rocks, and sure enough, he saw an ancient city ruin at the foot of the mountain.
The city ruins were a mess of broken walls and rubble. It seemed a terrible explosion had taken place. The moment the wizard Mike stepped onto the ground, a black and red lightning bolt suddenly shot out from the ground.
Locke Illusion frowned, because since his true form wasn't here, his ability to perceive changes in the Plane Principle was definitely at a lower level.
"Mike, get out of here. This place holds remnants of the magic that destroyed this city."
Wizard Mike paused for a moment, then subconsciously cast a Second-Ring Spell Model [Earth Heavy Armor], on himself. The powerful Spiritual Touch Field continuously compressed the elemental composite particles, creating a ring of magical rocks around his body.
"That's unlikely. None of the powerful Spiritual Touch Field here have changed. Wait a minute."
Mike Wizard's pupils suddenly contracted.
A black and red lightning bolt coiled around his feet. The surface of this city ruin, destroyed tens of thousands of years ago, still retained the Mana of that time.
Black and red lightning flames swept upwards into the sky from him.
Locke quickly calmed down. Because of Illusion Mike's hesitation, he hadn't left in time and had been caught in the demonic fire. Locke's first reaction wasn't to blame him, but to quickly think of a solution. The demonic fire was clearly Moon-Ring Level, but after so many years, it was just a remnant of the past.
While the Million Mushroom King Wizard Robe can withstand this attack, it requires time to adapt, and the speed of this demonic fire attack is simply too fast.
When Locke saw the cracks appearing on Wizard Mike's skin, he immediately realized that this was a magical fire with very advanced Spiritual Touch Studies effects and changes. He feared that the flames enveloping him would continuously trigger various Spiritual Touch changes in the substances inside Mike's body, leading to high temperatures inside Wizard Mike and ultimately turning him to ashes from the inside out.
Locke said to Wizard Mike, "Mike, pour all your magic into the King's New Shoes - Air Pineapple."
This time, Wizard Mike did not hesitate and immediately did as Locke did, and the Air Pineapple on his feet emitted a bright blue magical glow.
One minute later.
The black and red lightning and fire storm that enveloped the Mike suddenly collapsed, and the energy of the lightning and fire turned back into points of light, lurking into the earth.
A faint blue magical glow appeared on the surface of Mike wizard's body. He breathed a sigh of relief and slumped to the ground.
He was almost burned alive by that terrifying magical lightning flame just now.
It was actually a special kind of demonic fire that could bypass the Permanent Defense Field Shell and directly cause his internal Spiritual Touch to continuously break and recombine.
I really have no idea how it was made.
Wizard Mike was sweating profusely as he recalled the thrilling moment. Fortunately, following Locke's instructions, he had the King's New Shoes depolarize his entire body's Spiritual Touch, Spiritual Breath, and Spirit Macro at this crucial moment. This was because the King's New Shoes inherited the natural Magic Power structural components within the Water King Cabbage, thus granting him advanced invisibility.
However, this mechanism did effectively reduce the burning effect of the demonic fire on him, buying him time to allow the Million Mushroom King Wizard Robe to adapt to the Magic Pressure.
Sweat beaded on Wizard Mike's forehead. "If that demonic fire had just a little more Magic Pressure, I'd be dead."
"I was too reckless this time. I only glanced at the powerful Spiritual Touch Field and thought there was no problem before coming in. I didn't discover the advanced Fire Magic hidden in this ground."
"Fortunately, although this demonic fire is powerful, it has long been weakened due to the lack of Magic Pressure infused into it by wizards."
Wizard Mike practically jumped to his feet. "Wait, all these years, without wizards or large magical artifacts to sustain it for long periods, why hasn't the magical fire disappeared?"
Locke scanned the city and found it to resemble a large laboratory. Many of the ruins contained burnt black objects, while others, which were fortunate enough to remain unburnt, were mostly various high-energy, flammable magical substances contained in bottles of Time Gold Crystal.
He even saw several magical flames inside specially made Time Gold Crystal jars the size of gasoline drums, and those flames were still burning after so many years.
Locke quickly determined that this was a massive Fire Magic experiment site left behind by this ancient Wizard Civilization.
Since neither of them were Shaping School wizards, nor were Mike Fire Magic Studies wizard, the two of them couldn't possibly consume such a large treasure trove of ruins.
However, he could sell the coordinates of this relic to the Academy and let the Academy decide how to handle it.
In particular, the demonic fire that appeared to be above the Moon Ring did not disappear. Instead, after the Magic Pressure further decreased, it burrowed into the ground and directly merged into the city.
I have no strategy for retrieving it, nor is it necessary.
Locke said, "Moon-Ring Level magic, due to its Constancy, all possess some kind of constant and enduring ability, but that magical fire has indeed existed for far too long. It might be a high-level magical fire created by some Moon Ring Fire Magic wizard. I really don't understand this."
Locke's Illusion swiftly traversed the city; since it was just Illusion, he didn't need to worry about encountering any traps.
After he had done a brief inspection and returned, he said to Wizard Mike, "This appears to be a laboratory simply destroyed by an out-of-control experiment."
"I looked at the contents here. Every living being in this city was burned to death by those flames. I found an inscription recording those flames. I should thank this civilization for liking to use special magical stone tablets to record important historical events. This flame is called: Black Bat King Demonfire. It shouldn't be finished yet; it seems an accident occurred halfway through the experiment."
Locke paused for a moment and then said, "This should be an experiment to seek the 'truth'."
Wizard Mike realized. "They want to create Kingfire. That's right, the Kingfire wielded by Sun-Ring Wizard should have the characteristic of long-lasting existence, allowing for more complex and higher-level forging of Great Magic Fire Magic Studies magic. They want to become Sun-Ring Wizard."
Locke the Wizard nodded.
This group of wizards, who have been separated from the native wizarding world for a long time, have clearly used various methods to become Sun-Ring Wizard in this world.
However, according to the era, they should not have been limited by Magic Pressure. In other words, although these wizards are only at the Moon Ring or Star Ring, their Magic Pressure may have exceeded that of the Third Ring and Fourth Ring.
At present, it is difficult to determine their magic level.
Moreover, because there are few fossils of individual life forms here, Locke still cannot determine what the Wisdom life forms in the Venom Great World are like. They can't just be those world lords, who are earthbound spirit-like life forms formed by the combination of energy and the Plane Principle of parts of the world.
It cannot be considered a normal Wisdom life form in the world.
Locke pondered, "Based on the information I've gathered, although I still don't understand how the Kingfire in Fire Magic is created, a wisp of True Nature must be added to the creation process of all Kingfire. In other words, without the current technology native to the Wizarding World, it's impossible to create Kingfire independently."
"If that's the case, then the Kingfire -making experiments conducted by the wizarding community in this region are bound to fail."
Locke asked Wizard Mike, "Because I'm not Shaping School wizard, I saw some unusual magical materials recorded on the stone tablet, written in a strange format. Can you take a look and see if you can understand them? You are Shaping School wizard, so you should know more about the formulas, basic runes, and fundamental systems of Shaping School than I do."
Wizard Mike glanced down. "Oh, this is Elemental Formula. Boss, it's perfectly normal that you don't know this. It's First Ring of Fire Magic Studies and something you learn in the apprentice stage. Different magical substances can produce different burning effects and Magic Flame, producing different temperatures and colors, and different effects as well. So it's not just in the Fire Magic stage, but also in other elements..."
Within elemental magic, different casting mediums or Spell Model can be used to create elemental magic with different effects.
"The Shaping School still relies heavily on casting materials during the apprentice stage. And when researching Spell Model at the First-Ring Stage, tens of thousands of different magical substances are needed. Elemental Formula are a way to record the reactions of Composite Element particles of these magical substances."
"In fact, Elemental Formula is just a language system similar to the language we speak."
Wizard Mike said, "It's just a cognitive model of the world. It's unique to the Shaping School, and some Alchemy School also teach some of it in their Wizard Academy."
Locke's Illusion nodded. "Let's leave. The Solas Barefoot is catching up again."
Wizard Mike's eyes darted around. "Using the Black Bat King Demonfire here, we can turn the tables on them!"
Locke's Illusion nodded. "I understand your thinking. However, it's too risky. To risk destroying this ruin for the sake of a moment's anger would be disrespectful to the truth. Let's use the King's New Shoes to shake them off first."
Wizard Mike scratched his head. "Okay, boss, I'll listen to you. Besides, I was just joking. I also think it wasn't a good idea."
A thoughtful glint flashed in Locke's Illusion Eyes. "Originally, I only intended to use this method to demonstrate the difference in Wizard's Shoe and complete this Wizard's Shoe test. As for the Third Pair of Wizard's Shoes, the secret weapon related to my Wizard's Shoe, and the second wizard robe, I wanted to use the deeper power of the Venom Great World as testing grounds. But Solas Barefoot are like a leech."
"It definitely needs to be addressed."
"If the other side sets up a trap everywhere, it could indeed become a big problem in the long run."
This isn't the Wizarding World; there aren't legal issues arising from permanently setting up elaborate traps everywhere.
At most, some foolish local world lords might accidentally stumble into this inescapable trap.
If they were to set up a vast and inescapable trap, it could create a massive cage or snare specifically targeting Mike, whom they had hired.
Locke's Illusion was icy. "Since they refuse to take the path to heaven, then I'll open the gates of Hell."
"After Mike leaves here, head north for thirty kilometers, following the directions I gave you. I'm going to shake off these pests completely."
