Inside the Solas Barefoot meeting room, Argos saw himself utterly defeated on the Illusion Screen. At the same time, various wizard shareholders from the Solas Barefoot were expressing their opinions and complaining to the Solas Wizard, demanding his replacement and holding him accountable for embezzlement.

This charge is obviously untenable.

This was at most a decision-making error that caused Solas Barefoot to suffer huge losses.

But it represents the unwavering determination of the sorcerer shareholders of Solas Barefoot, who are now united in their resolve to replace him.

Argos was completely dazed; only two words echoed in his mind, "It's over."

At this moment, many wizard designers and staff looked at Wizard Argos, waiting for his reaction and the possible meaning of the Rose Throne, or the meaning of Executive Director Rose. Many wizards had already realized what was happening.

However, neither the Rose Witch nor the Rose Throne spoke, nor did the Solas Wizard contact him.

Wizard Argos glanced at the Lingzhi Magic Plant and suddenly realized that Solas Wizard should not be in the wizarding world at the moment, but in the Blazing Sun Greater World, cultivating that special Third-Ring Level Hundred-Demon Rose.

That means the Solas Wizard will be unable to handle this matter for some time.

Although the shareholders' meeting has the right to deal with him, they will refrain from taking action against him out of respect for the Solas Wizard.

Argos's mind raced, and he felt increasingly frustrated and angry; he felt completely out of control.

So, does that mean as long as I'm thick-skinned enough, I can pretend nothing happened?

Argos saw on the Illusion Screen that the Moon-Ring Witch he had invited was fighting the Third-Ring Level Guardian. The two sides had entered a fierce battle, exchanging blows and engaging in intense combat.

This guardian itself is a very dangerous being.

If handled poorly, it could result in serious losses for his expedition team.

With a heavy heart and feeling defeated by Augustus, Argos began to think about how to salvage the situation. He wanted to contact the Resource Management Integration Committee, but found that Committee Member Aura, who had been so enthusiastic towards him before, did not seem to be responding to him.

There's still a chance.

Regardless of whether I defeat Augustus or the Pure Magic Plant Wizard Shoes, I must now consider how to survive. Professor Solas asked me to help him regain control of the Solas Barefoot so that he could have a higher position and a more independent status within the Rose School Lineage.

Argos's forehead was covered in sweat. For his mentor's sake, he had to maintain his current position. Augustus no longer needed to consider defeating it. If that was the case, it meant that the opponent would definitely occupy a place in the Land of Three Marshes in the future.

Argos was now brainstorming.

At this moment, seeing that everyone remained silent, one of the Star-Ring Wizard chief designers, [Kerkou], raised his hand and asked softly, "Um, now—Director Rose, Director Argos, what should we do now?"

Before Rose Witch could speak, Argos interrupted, "Continue with the existing plan. First, have the leader of our expedition, the Moon-Ring Witch, lead the team to find the wizards who were scattered earlier. Then, Michael— "

Captain Michael responded eagerly via the Lingzhi Magic Plant, "Commander Argos, Commander Rose, what is my squad to do now?"

The Wizard Argos said, "You will lead a team to search for my student Hernan in the vicinity, and recruit her expedition team to camp at this gate."

"I want you to set up an ambush here, and wait for the Constructor to return to this space, at which point you will once again issue him an academic challenge!"

Captain Michael replied lazily, "Lord Argos, I can try to find Lady Hernan; it is my duty as an adventuring wizard. But regarding your second order, I must remind you that the portal has collapsed, and I don't believe the other party will return here through it again."

"Therefore, I would like to request that you cancel the second order, or, after careful consideration, issue me a more rational order."

Argos immediately sneered, "Captain Michael, you dare to talk to me about reason? You're just an employee of Solas Barefoot, just a Star-Ring Wizard. Listen to me, obey my orders completely. Otherwise, you'll face huge breach of contract penalties."

On the other side of the Lingzhi Magic Plant, Wizard Michael was clearly also beginning to succumb to anger.

As a self-proclaimed Void-Forging Wizard, he was inherently arrogant. His so-called laziness was merely another manifestation of his arrogance. He believed that such trivial matters were not worth his full effort. At this moment, he already looked down on Argos and would naturally clash with Argos.

The Rose Throne glanced at Argos in surprise. From the perspective of High-Ring Wizard, it was no wonder that Argos's Constancy was beginning to falter in the face of this enormous defeat and the power of Locke's Pure Magic Plant Wizard Shoes and robes.

Argos possesses a Constancy, which is his own Great Magic, the Myriad Constructs Woven. This means that he believes he can use magical threads created by Textile Studies magic to construct any magical structure, and thus obtain magical structures that are cheaper and of higher quality.

The World Foundation Stone Series Wizard's Shoe are completely different from ordinary Wizard's Shoe. Their complexity lies not in the enchanted magic arrays or the use of rare materials, but in the hundreds of small mechanical constructs they contain. Calling them Wizard's Shoe is an understatement; they are more like heavy-duty mechanical wizard shoes.

Its Great Magic, Myriad Constructs Woven, is based on the Third-Ring Level theoretical model of the Solas Wizard: the Magic Line Theory.

This theory posits that the smallest microscopic structure of Magic Power is neither an infinitely subdivisible particle nor a point. The Solas Wizard used a series of complex formulas to demonstrate that this view was mere fantasy.

For example, if Magic Power were infinitely divisible into point-like objects, it would unleash an immense amount of energy that would destroy Magic Power points. In other words, this proves that Magic Power likely shouldn't be infinitely divisible into small points; that's impossible. Through his self-consistent logic, he proves that all Magic Power is linear, and that one point must necessarily connect to another.

The Magic Line Theory can perfectly explain why Mana is difficult to eliminate and always exists in different forms.

This is also the most fundamental theoretical basis of the magic of the Solas Wizard.

It's a worldview personally constructed by the Third-Ring Wizard!

Argos, as his direct student, naturally adopted this theory as his worldview. Based on this theory, he proposed to understand structures using threads. That is, a Golem that might require tens of thousands of magical parts could be formed by continuously twisting a single thread to create all types of complex mechanical structures, thus saving costs and time to the greatest extent.

The reason why Argos was able to complete the Wizard's Shoe of the World Foundation Stone Series might be seen by others as a matter of talent and coincidence, but from the perspective of the Rose Throne, it was simply inevitable.

The Great Magic, Myriad Constructs Woven, inherently possesses such potential.

The Magic Line Theory is an excellent and compelling theory.

The Rose Witch knew that the Solas Wizard was the most promising wizard in her Academic Lineage.

He is also the most likely candidate to become the Throne Wizard in the future.

This is still based on the premise that she is unsure of the ultimate extent of the Magic Line Theory. If it does indeed point to some real and existing truth, then it is not impossible for Solas Wizard to become Fourth-Ring Wizard in the future.

but----

The Rose Throne curled its lips into a smile. Solas was still very young, and so were his students.

That's far too immature.

For something so trivial to cause his own Constancy to vibrate and begin to crumble is incredibly irresponsible to himself, to Solas Barefoot, and to his faction.

The Rose Throne spoke, reminding Argos, "The difference between the Pure Magic Plant Wizard Shoes and your sect's construct Wizard's Shoe and robes is still undisputed. Argos, you don't need to doubt yourself because of this. Be confident, Argos. When you lack confidence, even your own Constancy howls at you like a crying baby. That's truly unsightly."

The Rose Throne said, "I love beautiful things, beautiful concepts, and beautiful magic. Therefore, I cannot bear to see your ugly state."

Argos quickly regained his composure and turned to the Rose Throne, saying, "Master, my performance just now was not very good."

Thank you for your guidance.

At this moment, Argos forcibly suppressed the agitation in his heart. Although every time he suppressed it, he felt his heart pounding wildly. He couldn't calm his mind at all and just wanted to compete with Augustus again as soon as possible. But soon he thought of the powerful senior brothers and sisters behind him, as well as the mechanical textile works in the hands of his teachers. The uncontrollable rage was eventually suppressed by his Constancy.

Then, when a person's self-confidence comes from their belief in others, their Constancy will be like a flower that has not received the nourishment of rain for a long time.

Rose Witch, spoke remotely to the Lingzhi Magic Plant in Argos's hand, "Mr. Michael, just do as Director Argos says. Locke Augustine is proficient in Ritual Magic. That portal isn't from the Conjuration School; in my opinion, it's highly likely that Ritual Magic was the dominant force. If it is Ritual Magic, it heavily relies on the arrangements provided by the ritual, so I think Locke Augustine and Mike are very likely to return to that place."

Wizard Michael seemed to have found his anchor at the Lingzhi Magic Plant. "Alright, if you had said so earlier, I would have known what to do. The orders given to me by Chief Argos just now left me with no choice but to disobey. I hope the leaders of the Solas Barefoot will not blame me. Hahaha."

The Wizard Argos hung up the call, letting out a cold snort. In his view, it was nothing more than a foolish provocation from Star-Ring Wizard.

Although he had just gotten a little angry, after being reminded by the Throne Wizard, he couldn't be bothered to argue with such a nobody. This person didn't even have a single first-tier scroll, which was considered poor by the standards of Star-Ring Wizard. Normally, Star-Ring Wizard genius who could catch his eye would at least have a single first-tier scroll.

Wizard Argos stared at the Illusion Screen, his only hope now being that Locke and the others would emerge again from the destroyed portal.

Wizard Argos's niece, looked at him with some concern and said, "Uncle Argos, I'm sorry, I misjudged the weakness of the Pure Magic Plant Wizard Shoes. I read through all of Mr. Locke Augustine's articles and found the direction of this weakness, but I didn't expect—I still failed."

Argos stared intently at the Illusion Screen, wondering where Locke Augustine and his employee had gone.

Argos tried to check Locke and the others' live stream, only to find that it had been interrupted. He didn't know if they had intentionally cut it off or entered an environment where they couldn't connect to the magic signal.

The Wizard Argos tried to calm himself down, but not being able to locate the enemy was indeed a major problem.

Where did they go?

Wizard Mike and Locke found themselves falling from the sky onto a dark, boundless land. They continued to fall, crashing into the ground and creating a large crater. When Wizard Mike got up again, his pupils suddenly shrank, as if he had witnessed a miracle.

"This—this is—"

"My God, I never thought I'd live to see these buildings and furnishings."

What appeared before Mike and Locke was a city full of skyscrapers. Each building, hundreds of meters tall, had floating magical light bulbs on top, flashing different lights. Magic Power tracks were laid between the buildings, allowing wizards to ride in magical carriages through the air according to the track standards, so that the wizards would not get into chaos in the air.

These skyscrapers are not only located on the ground, some are even suspended in mid-air, or their foundations are built in the air while the roofs face the ground. Therefore, this is practically a four-dimensional magical city!

There are buildings and facilities in every direction: up, down, left, and right.

The materials used in these skyscrapers are also quite different. At least half of the buildings appear to be made of stone, while others use Magic Alloy or magical high-polymer materials, with a glass-like texture.

Wizard Mike said to Locke, "Boss, these buildings are in the Northern Sector style."

"Boss, why do I feel like you're not a projection anymore?"

Locke looked at Mike and said, "The Light of Mind in this area is ridiculously dense. By using my Moon-Ring Level Magic Pressure to forcibly control the Light of Mind scattered in the air, I can create a body entirely made of Light of Mind. The principle is similar to the Saint's Descent in a plane."

"But it doesn't require the approval of the plane's will. This is because the Light of Mind of this city, or rather this region, is simply too intense."

"In other words, I'm no longer just an observer. My avatar can now explore this hidden world directly with you. You just mentioned that the architecture here is in the style of the Wizard Land of the Northern Sector?"

Wizard Mike nodded and said, "Yes. The Wizarding World has eight major districts, each with its own unique lifestyle. The Eastern Sector Eastern Sector has its own style, while the mortals of the Northern Sector are basically living in a steam-powered society that utilizes a lot of arcane energy. The wizarding community is even more developed than those mortal societies. However, the eight districts are far apart, and each district generally operates independently, so it's normal that you don't know this, boss. But my Kunguding Academy was invited here by the White Wizard Association of the Cloud Marsh Lands. The Northern Sector is originally our home."

"Yes, it's really a matter of architectural style."

"I never imagined I'd see so many Northern Sector style buildings in my lifetime; it's truly moving."

These buildings are absolutely beautiful.

Locke, sweat beading on his forehead, saw Wizard Mike holding a magnifying glass, trying to discern the patterns on a magical tile on the ground.

Wizard Mike exclaimed, "Beautiful, absolutely beautiful. I've already identified the model of the magical equipment used to create this enchanted tile and the specific techniques employed. The wizards behind this Venom Great World must be from the Northern Sector."

Wizard Mike chuckled, "So this so-called Divine Realm just teleported us from a region of Venom Great World teeming with beasts and monsters to a magical city where wizards live. Hahaha, that makes perfect sense."

"For mortals, being able to enter the wizarding city of the Northern Sector from such a place is truly like entering the Divine Realm."

Locke looked at Wizard Mike, his expression complicated. "You've got it wrong."

Wizard Mike looked at Locke. "Huh?"

Locke sensed the entire city and discovered that this seemingly magnificent high-tech metropolis was actually almost deserted; he wondered where everyone had gone.

Secondly, he took a half step back and looked at the remaining Wizard Array on the ground.

"This is Ritual Magic Wizard Array. But the Wizard Array is reversed."

A bad feeling crept into Mike's heart. "The opposite? What does that mean? Could it be—"

Locke said, "Mike, you certainly have the intuition of an explorer. Your guess is correct. Before I came here, I also thought that behind the door of that ruin was the Divine Realm in the Venom Great World, but judging from the Wizard Array beneath our feet, it seems that this Wizard Array is the entrance to the Divine Realm. I suspect that those two Divine Mountain were originally located here. Look, there are large open spaces and traces of broken mountain peaks between the buildings on both sides."

"In other words, someone must have used the Ritual Magic here to forcibly teleport to the Divine Realm back then," bringing both mountains with them.

"In other words, entering this wizarding city from where we came from—that's called entering the Divine Realm —is not about entering the Divine Realm from here back to where we came from."

"In other words, the area we initially entered in the Venom Great World was the Divine Realm within that world."

Mike Wizard's pupils suddenly contracted.

"This is truly outrageous."

"The fact that this wizarding city is so developed proves that there was once a very advanced wizarding society here. If that's the case, then under what circumstances would wizards refer to entering such a place as the Divine Realm?"

Locke looked at the Wizard Array on the ground and tried to repair it, but found that the Wizard Array was completely broken and could not be repaired at all.

"Yes, you're right. Logically speaking, such a world wouldn't be attractive to a wizard, unless there's some inside story, some kind of change, or they've been deceived. Anyway, let's try to make contact with the people here first. Perhaps there's a wizarding society here that has developed from long-term isolation from us."

"Perhaps we'll discover something interesting."

"Regardless, bringing this information back to the Wizarding World is big news."

Wizard Mike also perked up at this moment, agreeing with Locke's assessment.

Locke led Wizard Mike away from here; according to Locke's guess, this was the center of this wizarding city.

As they delve deeper into this world, its true nature is revealed to them.

Locke obtained Third Pair of Wizard's Shoes, the Water King · Air Pineapple, from Mike. As Moon-Ring Grand Wizard, he could still control the Wizard's Shoe even with only Star-Ring Level Magic Pressure. At the same time, Locke picked up the Azure Cloud Duckweed Water Plant from the petri dish in his hand.

Azure Cloud Duckweed's magical plant is an abnormal individual that she unintentionally cultivated while cultivating Air Pineapple using the Cell-Level Magic Plant Sword Mound. She quickly discovered it and then used the Finite-Element Single-Variable Analysis Cultivation Method to enhance its internal dominant Plant Factor, thus obtaining a magical plant.

This magical plant absorbs scattered Magic Pressure from the surrounding air.

In addition to the reproductive ability of Fiona Cloud Duckweed when it encounters water, Azure Cloud Duckweed has also mutated to possess a unique characteristic that determines that it is Azure Cloud Duckweed and not...

The change in Fiona Cloud Duckweed's Energy-Locking Structure- Energy-Locking Structure structure is what transformed her into Star-Ring Magic Plant, rather than Second-Ring Magic Plant like Fiona Cloud Duckweed.

The Energy-Locking Structure of * Azure Cloud Duckweed *: heterocellular carotenoids of Water King Cabbage *.

This is a special cellular-level energy-locking organ that Locke discovered inside the leaves of the Water King Cabbage during his dissection. Locke had previously tested it and found that these Water King Cabbage alien cells would be produced and transformed in large quantities when the Water King Cabbage was damaged. They would quickly combine with any Mana particles that invaded the Water King Cabbage.

Locke suspects that this mechanism may have evolved because Water King Cabbage easily encounters Ice Element or Water Element lords in the Water Element world.

The alien cells do not absorb these particles; they simply wrap them up like a rubber ball, and then the particle loses its power.

This is a way for the Water King Cabbage to protect itself, and it is also the last line of defense for the Moon-Ring Magic Plant Water King Cabbage within its body.

This makes it extremely difficult for the Water King Cabbage to be infected with magical fungi, and these heteromorphic cells even have a strong inhibitory effect on some parasites that like to parasitize plants.

Under the Ice Magic Mirror, this alien cell resembles the shape of Pac-Man and is likely the most important part of this magical plant worthy of study. However, Locke has not yet fully understood the specific mechanism; he only knows that it seems to be related to a high-level Water Magic depolarization, but that is not entirely the case.

In short, these heteromorphic cells, which are homologous to the Water King Cabbage, were successfully implanted into the Purple Duckweed Purple Duckweed, where they were produced in large quantities and mixed with the Purple Duckweed's original Plant Essence. Locke, on the other hand, used Grafting Cultivation Method to propagate these cells.

Ping conducted a grafting experiment with her own Fiona Cloud Duckweed and successfully transferred this atypical cell into Fiona Cloud Duckweed.

These alien cells combine with all surrounding Magic Power components, including Magic Power particles sealed by Magic Winter and kept in a state of minimum energy.

It's not that we can destroy Magic Winter.

Rather, it's more accurate to say that the water vapor allows the Azure Cloud Duckweed to multiply rapidly, and then a large number of alien cells are used to devour all the abnormal Magic Pressure and elemental particles infected by Magic Winter into the alien cells. A single Qingyunping plant can produce hundreds of alien cells, and with the Azure Cloud Duckweed's exaggerated Biomass reproduction capacity, this ability has been completely transformed.

As Azure Cloud Duckweed rapidly multiplied, the number of alien cells doubled, giving rise to abilities that even the original Water King Cabbage lacked. These abilities transformed from ordinary biological defense into a special phenomenon: the ability to devour Magic Pressure particles in the surrounding environment. This was the root cause of the Magic Winter environment triggered by Solas Barefoot.

Locke had previously discovered that by having the Azure Cloud Duckweed devour each other's alien cells, a special state could be established in which a single Azure Cloud Duckweed could be linked to other Azure Cloud Duckweed.

Because the alien cells devour the surrounding Magic Pressure and elemental particles, they can influence the surrounding environment by controlling Azure Cloud Duckweed. Furthermore, by releasing a certain type of particle, the elemental properties of a certain space can be enhanced.

Argos, overly fearful of his own technology, mistakenly believed that his Azure Cloud Duckweed environmental alteration technology could arbitrarily change the surrounding environment. In fact, it was not. The correct explanation was that it used the alien cells of Azure Cloud Duckweed to make the surrounding space display certain attributes.

Furthermore, by connecting the alien cells, Azure Cloud Duckweed can be made to gather and disperse into shape, making it very easy to create one or two clones that are almost identical to the original body.

Locke looked at the bottle of Azure Cloud Duckweed in his hand. Ever since he made Azure Cloud Duckweed and transformed it into an environmental-altering magic to match a certain magical plant, he had planned to use this product in conjunction with his Pure Magic Plant Wizard Shoes.

Moreover, both the Azure Cloud Duckweed cultivar and the Water King Pineapple cultivar on my feet have been enhanced with the Ten-King Bottle.

Thanks to his trip to the Three-Cave World where he took all the mineral reserves, both of these Ten-King Bottle were crafted using his own Verdant Spiritual Breath Mine.

These two magical plants also exist in the [Jungle].

However, since it is not a powerful symbiotic relationship based on magic, and the two do not have a particularly good symbiotic relationship in nature, they do not conflict. Locke forcibly used the Pseudo Forging of Minor Reform and spent three years gradually modifying the flow of Spiritual Breath to find the only possibility. Then he spent another two years continuously optimizing and establishing the flow path of Spiritual Breath, and even used the Queen's Chessboard to simulate and deduce the flow and advance of Spiritual Breath using the Origin Force Torrent.

It took five years to complete this forest between the Moon-Ring Magic Plant and the Star-Ring Magic Plant.

The Occult Significance of the Moon-Ring Magic Plant Water King Air Pineapple is the Advanced Level [Treading the Waves], while the Occult Significance of the Star-Ring Magic Plant Azure Cloud Duckweed is the Excellent Level [Flowing Clouds]. Azure Cloud Duckweed can transform into clouds that gather and disperse, and the combination of the two in Jungle is called Treading the Waves, Riding the Clouds).

The Occult Significance of Treading the Waves is that it allows one to stand on water vapor while wearing the Water King Air Pineapple. Even a single Water Element Particle can make one stand on it, granting it super mobility and all-around combat capabilities.

The Flowing Clouds further enhances the connectivity of the Azure Cloud Duckweed, allowing it to gather and disperse like Flowing Clouds. Without this Occult Significance, even if the Azure Cloud Duckweed were combined by alien cells, they would form a large clump of azure duckweed polymer floating in mid-air, rather than resembling clouds.

The Magic Pressure multiplier in the Treading the Waves, Riding the Clouds Jungle is 1.05, which is not high.

The main reason is that this Jungle is not suitable.

The two types of magical plants do not usually have a symbiotic relationship, and Locke only found this out by forcibly using Pseudo Forging Minor Reform and the Black and Black-and-White World and spending time.

Water King Air Pineapple can help with the reproduction of Azure Cloud Duckweed, but Azure Cloud Duckweed do not help Water King Air Pineapple much, and the Jungle is generally difficult to establish.

Although the Magic Pressure of the Treading the Waves, Riding the Clouds Jungle is not high, it allows the Water King Air Pineapple to walk on the Azure Cloud Duckweed as if walking on clouds, increasing its original speed by more than two times and giving it the ability to manipulate [Flowing Clouds].

Therefore, all things considered, Azure Cloud Duckweed is a very successful auxiliary environmental magic for the Air Pineapple Wizard's Shoe.

Locke opened the glass container, allowing the Azure Cloud Duckweed to multiply in the air and form Flowing Clouds. These Flowing Clouds clouds transformed into a cloud beneath Locke's feet. Locke stood above this pure white cloud, arms crossed, remaining motionless, and let the Azure Cloud Duckweed Flowing Clouds move forward.

Wizard Mike continued to record the powerful Spiritual Touch Field here, scratching his head with a troubled expression.

"It's a complete mess. The powerful Spiritual Touch Field here is nothing like the one we Spiritual Touch Field when we first entered the Venom Great World. It's a complete mess. Re-analyzing it will take a very long time."

"This means I have to redo all the previous work."

Wizard Mike tapped his forehead with his fingers. "Well, if we Constructor don't suffer, who will?"

Keep up the good work!

"Is this the sky Venom Great World, Mr. Locke?"

Locke shook his head. "At first, I also thought this was the sky, but judging from the reversed teleportation Wizard Array we saw earlier, this is probably the land of the Venom Great World, and where we were before was likely the sky of the Venom Great World."

Locke and Wizard Mike looked up at the same time.

The sky above this world was covered with a thick layer of clouds.

Locke pointed to the sky and said, "Beyond those clouds should be the area where we just entered the Venom Great World."

While it's possible to try directly traversing the clouds to see if we can return to our previous location, I calculated it when I teleported here. I estimate the distance to the clouds above me is approximately 100,000 meters, and after traversing the clouds, it would likely require crossing a spatial distance of 110,000 light-years to return to the continent we came from.

Wizard Mike was dumbfounded. "So far? That would require Small Void Battleship. Wait, the key question is, how could it be so far?"

Locke shook his head. "It's possible I just miscalculated. But as a Greater World, it's normal for it to have some special dimensional structures. We still know very little about the Venom Great World, and more wizard explorers will enter here in the future to try to understand this world."

Locke and Mike walked along a street in the city. They saw shops on both sides of the street, including amusement parks and food stalls. Inside the amusement park, some magical toys floated in mid-air, emitting a glow. The shops on both sides of the street also had magical light signs made by Alchemist.

It's as if this place was a bustling night market just ten minutes ago.

But strangely, there wasn't a single person there.

Suddenly, a man wearing a hooded sweater and jeans ran out from the end of the street. He was holding a magic dagger, from which blood was still dripping. After rushing out, he stood at the end of the street, holding the dagger, looking at Locke and Mike with a look of astonishment.

"Two people? What terrible luck I'm having today, running into two people in the Wizard Duel City. No way. Looks like I can't stay in this phase."

The man looked at Locke and Mike with apprehension, then raised the dagger in his hand. The dagger was enchanted with blood magic; instead of dripping blood, it formed a ring around the dagger.

"Two duelists. How did you two come together? This doesn't make sense. In a world where the strong prey on the weak, where rankings determine everything, how could you two possibly join forces? Who's ranked higher, and who's ranked lower? Can a donkey and a horse pull a millstone together?"

Wizard Mike blinked. "This wizard's colleague. I'm Mike. This is Lord Augustine. If we're talking about who's more powerful, it's definitely Mr. Augustine. He's my boss, and the developer of the magical equipment I wear. I'm his hired explorer's representative. If we have to rank them, it's him, of course."

The man's small eyes swept over the two of them. He was silent for a moment, then burst into laughter. "We've run into a madman."

"What boss, spokesperson, developer? I don't understand a single word. In this blood-soaked Duel City, there's only one way for everyone to achieve their goals and turn their fantasies into reality: relentlessly hunt others. I know, you must be controlled by this wizard."

"I knew it! That's why you two were together."

"I see."

"Two people is an absolute impossibility in this Duel City. It's either 1 or more than 2; 2 is absolutely impossible."

Wizard Mike frowned.

The man slowly backed away, glancing warily at Locke and Mike.

Immediately afterwards, his back gradually blurred into a blur, and then, to Mike's astonishment, the wizard actually disregarded the fact that his back was...

Instead of walking towards a skyscraper, he walked straight towards it. Then, his back began to blur, and he gradually merged with the building before his figure disappeared.

Wizard Mike rushed over in surprise and knocked on the wall.

"There were no traps, and the Spiritual Touch Field remained unchanged. If one were to pass through a wall, even using the highest level of Transfiguration Magic to squeeze through every tiny crack in the wall, it would still slightly disturb the Spiritual Touch Field. If it were Earth Magic, the impact would be even greater. No, it's hard to say that the other party was a particularly high-level Earth Magic wizard who restored the Spiritual Touch Field after using the Wall-Piercing Spell."

Locke said to Mike, "How high a level of Earth Magic would be needed to achieve this?"

Mike said, "That's hard to say. For it to be so obvious that I can't even tell, it would require at least Sun-Ring, and possibly even Third Ring level of magic. Because this kind of thing is like carving on tofu, and then having to completely restore it afterward."

Locke said, "That person didn't have that much Magic Pressure. So that guess is impossible."

"He just vanished from right in front of us, and there was a phase disturbance before he disappeared. I think he most likely went to another Parallel World."

Mike the Wizard looked puzzled. "Another Parallel World?"

Locke said to Wizard Mike, "Don't you find it strange? The absolute spatial distance between the surface and inner layers of the Venom Great World could be millions of light-years. But this Duel City we're in, I think, is only 50,000 square kilometers at most."

"In other words, unless this world is a special kind of world that is infinitely long but only the size of a pinhead. But such a situation is quite rare, and whether it can even exist is another matter. Therefore, I think this place should have a large number of Parallel World or Phase Space."

As a wizard aspiring to become Grand Explorer, Mike naturally realized what was happening.

"Could this be a classic 'Ganges-Sand World type of plane? That is, a Greater World doesn't have a single, massive Prime Material Plane, but only many smaller worlds, as numerous as the sands of the Ganges. But that doesn't explain why that wizard suddenly disappeared in front of us. Moreover, the Magic Pressure level of each smaller plane in Ganges-Sand World type doesn't increase."

"Yet this city possesses such immense Magic Pressure, even surpassing the Magic Pressure of our Land of Three Marshes."

"There's definitely something strange about this place, and it can't possibly be a typical world like the Ganges-Sand World."

Locke said, "A group of wizards from the Northern Sector has likely been operating this world for a long time. Therefore, I believe this world may not have originally been like this; it may have been modified by some kind of experimental project. As for what exactly that is, we can only continue to explore."

"Let's get started right away," said Wizard Mike with great enthusiasm. "This is so captivating! A mysterious wizarding city, with heaven and earth turned upside down!"

"And then there were the Native Wizard who suddenly appeared as soon as they saw us."

Just as Wizard Mike was about to set off, hands in his pockets, Locke, standing on a cloud, suddenly turned his head to look at a tall building behind him.

From the building, a girl with a cloth bag and backpack slung across her shoulder walked out from the back.

"Hello—did you just encounter the Killer?"

"Those demons----"

"For some reason, he left on his own."

The girl shuddered. "You two, the fact that you can stay together means you're definitely not the Killer."

You are travelers. Follow me. The last settlement here has been destroyed by the duelists, but my friends and I still have a base. If you need safety, we can provide it.

"Let's go quickly. I'm worried that Killer will come back."

The girl checked her backpack, then swallowed hard and handed two bunny cookies to Locke and Mike.

"Give."

"These are cookies I've treasured for a long time. They're a special gift for a traveler from afar."

The girl smiled innocently at Locke and said, "Travelers must be very knowledgeable. May I hear you tell me about the wonders and knowledge you have from afar?"
