After half a month, Locke, Witch Shally, Wizard Warwick, and Wizard McKinley completed the first draft of their major paper.
The four decided that after revising the manuscript a few more times, they could submit it to First Ring History, an archaeology journal in the Starfield Sea.
Locke learned from the Ashen Esoteric Sect that First Ring History was the journal Warwick and the others had once dreamed of submitting to. However, they had never had any chance of getting accepted, so they had never dared to submit.
After all, just the travel expenses for submitting from here to the Starfield Sea would cost a considerable sum. Since there was no chance of acceptance, there was naturally no need to submit.
As for who would serve as the corresponding author, the four discussed it and decided to do it themselves.
After all, as far as the Starfield Sea was concerned, it made little difference who served as the corresponding author.
First Ring History was the most prestigious First-Ring archaeology journal in the Starfield Sea, and it was not particularly discriminatory toward researchers based on seniority.
If they were rejected, they could always settle for something less prestigious.
At the same time, they would use this paper to apply for the Istoria Archaeology Award.
The paper would basically explain the reason the Nameless King of the Age of Stars had been erased from history, as well as cover the Age of Mortals and their investigation of the Loom Princess's tomb.
Of course, Locke and Witch Shally had still concealed the final part concerning the princess.
That part actually offered little benefit to their current goals—the top First-Ring journal and the archaeology award. It might even prove harmful.
