A golden Dragon Claw–type Air Pineapple fell from the sky. It looked remarkably similar to the Saphirot's Grasp cast by the Mutated Dragon Locke encountered in the Negative Energy Particle Field left behind by the Plant Essence of Golden Tassel Wheat when Locke used the Historical Reenactment spell.
But on closer inspection, the claws of this Dragon Claw–shaped Air Pineapple, which extended downward like the spikes of a nail shoe, were actually four sturdy Imaginary Roots. These originally tendril-like Imaginary Roots had grown so densely that they intertwined with one another and transformed into spikes.
Locke was stunned, because this was obviously a Special Imaginary Root.
Some Special Imaginary Roots were exceptionally special, while others merely possessed traits that differed slightly from those of other Imaginary Roots.
But in reality, the intertwined tendril-like Imaginary Roots on this Pineapple Wizard's Shoe were indeed a type of Special Imaginary Root.
Locke summoned Pinellia and cast a Summer Grass Mars spell. A spell-Mars struck the surface of the Wizard's Shoe, yet the surface remained completely undamaged. The spell-Mars's gravitational force could not draw it inside.
This was precisely because the Wizard's Shoe had been enchanted with a simplified version of Golden Magic, which Locke had obtained by analyzing Saphirot's Grasp.
As a result, although this Air Pineapple Wizard's Shoe could not reverse the energy of all things, it could isolate the energy of all things without being affected itself.
Moreover, the four sturdy, claw-like Imaginary Roots of this Pineapple Wizard's Shoe stabbed into the surface of the spell-Mars's flames like nails, locking themselves firmly in place. They showed no sign of sinking in and traveled toward the distance together with the spell-Mars.
