Background
Arro trained in martial arts from childhood under the Martial Arts System. His early practice of the Knight’s Breathing Technique and Cat Form Fist greatly improved his stamina, climbing, coordination, and reaction speed. His System initially remained stalled while scanning for a Novice Mission. 8
He later chose a dual path: martial arts for self-defense and wizardry for pursuing the Dao. He prioritized Nerve Reflex over other attributes, treating speed and reaction time as the foundation of his survival and fighting style. 65
As an Owl Wizard Academy apprentice, Arro became involved in the Eternal Colosseum’s Deathmatch against Knan Nabbi. He survived escalating conflicts at the academy, used Magic Strike Technique in battle, and was publicly recognized as a hero after rescuing trainees from Mist Space. 87 185 191
After leaving the academy, Arro traveled through Peran Territory, fought Shadow Beasts and undead, became connected to Baron Claire’s affairs, and ultimately became the new owner of Viscount Corey’s territory. 206 214 453
Appearance
Arro is a youthful but physically mature-looking young man whose disciplined training, armor, and composed bearing often cause others to mistake him for an older teenager or adult. 206 211 483
- Originally had golden hair. 8
- His skin became darkened by Abyss Power infection; he later used this appearance as part of a disguise. 206 291
- Has a slender build, though he eventually reaches the height of an average adult through training and growth. 209 483
- Often carries a longsword or blazing greatsword and wears concealed or openly displayed heavy armor. 213 286
- His eyes are described as bright and confident even while dressed as a battered refugee. 206
Personality
Arro is pragmatic, intensely self-improving, and unusually mature for his apparent age. He consistently evaluates danger through combat power, resources, and long-term consequences, choosing preparation and adaptability over reckless displays of strength. 94 234 296
Despite his caution, he has a strong moral streak. He intervenes against injustice, saves vulnerable people when he can, and rejects being manipulated into violence for another faction’s benefit. 214 382
He is also reflective about the System’s influence over him. Rather than blindly obeying its tasks, he questions whether a target truly deserves death and fears becoming a mere puppet directed by missions. 431
Abilities & Skills
Martial Arts System
Arro gains experience from defeating enemies and can use Skill Points to rapidly acquire or upgrade techniques. System upgrades can implant extensive knowledge and muscle memory, but may cause physical pain or strain. 72 185
- Tracks Personal Level, attributes, Skill Points, martial skills, and experience.
- Has enabled rapid mastery of techniques that would otherwise require extensive practice.
- Its tasks and motivations remain a source of concern for Arro. 431 615
Exceptional Nerve Reflex and Perception
Arro’s combat style centers on reaction speed. His Nerve Reflex reached 18 by Level 20 and gained an additional 2 points after solidifying his Trick core. 115 168
- Cat Form Fist – Prowl detects subtle movement within approximately three meters and maps nearby enemy positions in his Mind Space. 43
- Cat Form Fist – Running and related techniques help him perceive incoming spells and exploit openings. 80
- His speed lets him outmaneuver ordinary soldiers and contend with Formal Knights at close range. 206 214
Swordsmanship
Arro uses practical, high-speed swordsmanship focused on timing, positioning, and exploiting openings rather than raw strength.
- Blazing Sword Technique — channels heat and flames through his sword; later used with the Blazing Greatsword. 115 220
- Crescent Moon / Arc Moon Triple Slash — a devastating multi-slash technique used against ambushers and skilled opponents. 262 451
- Basic Swordsmanship — remains part of his combat repertoire and gains experience through battle. 378
- Uses basic sword moves efficiently when facing groups of armored enemies. 175
Movement Techniques
- Cat Form Fist – Dash — a Master-level acceleration technique. 115
- Mist Body Technique — used for evasive movement and combat repositioning. 115 262
- Body Flickering Technique — enables flexible short-distance movement; its documented level was Second Level at LV20. 115 358
- Nine Revolving Consecutive Steps — the martial foundation associated with Body Flickering Technique. 115
Magic Strike Technique
Magic Strike Technique is Arro’s signature high-output striking method. Its power comes at a serious cost: recoil can exceed his body’s limits, while repeated use causes Abyss Power corruption and emotional instability. 154 185 252
- Star River Surge — reached the Fourth Layer, allowing Arro to use Phoenix Spreading Wings without armor. 185
- Phoenix Spreading Wings — combines armor, wind, flame, and Abyss Power into a phoenix manifestation; used to overwhelm formations and intimidate enemies. 175 262 319
- Phoenix Beak — a diving fiery-drill attack that can destroy powerful targets in a single strike. 175 321
- Arro avoids using it against humans when possible because it amplifies his emotions and threatens his rationality. 296 382
Alchemy and Engineering
Arro is a self-taught, highly practical craftsman. He favors experimentation over passive study and uses magic patterns, materials, and mechanical principles to develop equipment. 113 129
- Learned Hand of Magic Power to manipulate molten metal. 113
- Learned and used the Melting Spell while practicing forging. 113
- Reverse-engineered an airship power core’s magic-power absorption, kinetic-energy conversion, and control structures. 129
- Designs armor, weapons, buffers, cooling systems, bombs, and other combat tools. 154 223 293
Martial Arts Instruction
Arro develops and teaches martial paths beyond conventional knight training.
- Teaches combat principles centered on conserving magic power, movement, inertia, and adapting to opponents and terrain. 558
- Works to make Qi Blood Rampage accessible to others, including Bard and Claire. 463 469
- Created internal-cultivation techniques incorporating Confucian, Legalist, and Daoist ideas from his past life. 654
- Unlocked the Qi Character Technique to support Claire and explore integrations with his other skills. 642
Equipment
- Cross Longsword — received from Dilia and Kaitain; used during his early Evil Spirit hunts. 94
