Background / History

Huang Lu is the second daughter of a century-old Magic City family. Her backstory, created through Xu Yi's Background Editor system, states that she was abducted by a rival of the Huang family as a child and eventually arrived at a Port City orphanage. There, she and Xu Yi depended on each other for more than a decade. 38

At sixteen, Huang Lu was rescued by Xu Yi during an orphanage fire; he retained a scar on his wrist from the rescue. The Huang family subsequently found her and brought her back to Magic City. Before separating, Huang Lu broke her childhood jade pendant in half, giving one piece to Xu Yi. She later changed her name from Huang Tian to Huang Lu. 38 39
